The Unbound Collection by Hyatt Properties in Chengdu

Choosing this hotel for my Chengdu trip was an absolute success! The design hotel has a sophisticated feel with brand-new, comprehensive facilities. They provided Dyson hairdryers and Atelier Cologne toiletries, welcome fruit included local Chengdu nectarines, and the minibar even stocked Emei Snow. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety, including cold pot skewers – I loved every bit of it! The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room. Its location is perfect: The MixC Mall and a subway station are right downstairs, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly convenient. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely book it again next time I'm in Chengdu!

I came for Zhou Shen's concert, and this felt like the most convenient hotel for Dongan Lake Sports Park. It's about a 10-minute walk to the West Gate, and after the concert, there were even signs specifically directing guests back to the Kapok Hotel. An unexpected bonus was being able to hear the soundcheck from the hotel balcony (though closing the balcony door provided excellent soundproofing, so you couldn't hear a thing inside)... The service also really added to the atmosphere... The lobby had a lot of decorations and activities... And even though we arrived very late due to a night flight, after checking in, the staff asked if we were there for Zhou Shen's concert and then gave us homemade fridge magnets and a canvas bag (the bags had run out at the time, so they told us to pick one up the next day with our room card). Overall, the hotel stay was quite comfortable, especially KIKI's attentive service. She even followed up on our stay experience. I think I'll choose this hotel again the next time I come to Dongan Lake for a concert!

I usually stay at Marriott hotels for business trips, so I rarely experience Hyatt. This time, after a business trip, I had a free day and booked the Hyatt Centric near Taikoo Li. It far exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the hotel's location is excellent, especially for those visiting Taikoo Li and nightclubs; you can walk back easily. Secondly, the high-rise hotel offers expansive views, although Chengdu was foggy during my stay, making it a bit unclear. Finally, I must say that the Hyatt brand is truly elegant, the rooms are very spacious, and the staff were proactive in upgrading my room and providing warm service. It truly was one of the most comfortable stays I've had in Chengdu over the years. I'm even considering regaining my Globalist status! 😄
