The hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

Our family stayed at the Louis Castle Qingtong Hotel for two nights during our trip to Chengdu. The service and environment were excellent, definitely a five-star rating! We contacted the front desk in advance about breakfast, and they were so patient, even giving us two complimentary breakfasts. On our second day, we had an early start, and they thoughtfully prepared portable breakfasts for us. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and they were always responsive to our needs. The room was clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a solid night's sleep. The individually packaged toiletries gave us peace of mind. Getting a taxi was super convenient, right by the roadside. The cleaning staff were meticulous, cleaning our room on time, and communication with them was very smooth when we had requests. Overall, there were no disappointments; the environment was clean and well-maintained, making for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Chengdu, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting the city.

Staying at the voco Chengdu, perfectly situated in the heart of Chunxi Road, was such a pleasant surprise! It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Taikoo Li and IFS, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. This hotel, which opened last year, boasts spacious rooms with comfortable King Koil mattresses and Elemis toiletries, ensuring maximum comfort. The service truly stands out – the butler was attentive and thoughtful, and the Dan Dan noodles at breakfast were authentically delicious. As an IHG property, the quality is guaranteed, and it offers excellent value for money. If you're coming to Chengdu, this is definitely the place to go, no second thoughts needed!

I always arrange for my friends to stay here, and the butler service consistently puts me at ease. They are patient and thoughtful with guests, and any issues are communicated smoothly and handled reliably. This stay was just as great as usual; the room conditions are excellent, making for a very comfortable stay, so much so that I extended it for another day. The hotel's location is superb, convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Everything is just perfect.

Pros: Very comfortable stay. I loved having a sofa to lounge on, a table to eat at while charging my devices, and a conveniently located luggage rack. The rain shower had excellent water pressure. They even provided a Dyson hairdryer and an iron, which was a nice touch. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were beautiful. The air conditioning was perfectly set and didn't need any adjustments – it's great how new everything felt. Cons: Having to switch elevators to get to the room was a minor inconvenience, but the hotel entrance and the building are separate, unlike some high-rise hotels where you might run into tourists, so I guess it's acceptable. The delivery robot was incredibly slow; it took longer than if the delivery driver had come directly to the hotel. Also, despite being on a high floor, there wasn't much of a view yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing the city develop in the future.

Overall, my stay was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were attentive and efficient during check-in and check-out, and very pleasant to communicate with – they were quick to assist with any requests. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was very comfortable, and it was quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety, and the chicken noodle soup was a definite highlight – the broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were smooth. It was wonderfully warming in the morning. All the facilities were well-maintained. Considering the overall value for money, it's a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The Xishang Hotel offers an amazing experience with attentive and prompt butler service. The food is made with fresh local ingredients and tastes authentic and delicious. The private hot spring is secluded and quiet, and the environment is tranquil and a great escape from the summer heat. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel. Fantastic location. (No pool despite photos suggesting on the trip site). Great hub for the vibrant Taikoo Li area. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Intelligent toilet (Don't be misled by other review comments which seemed to show a video of a toilet malfunction, that was just bidet ”user error” the toilets are pre warmed and come with Japanese level sophistication and functions) however they also have unnecessarily sanitised plastic wrapped towels refreshed every day which seems rather wasteful albeit 100% sanitised. Hotel delivery robot and all the usual facilities. Great base for a Panda stop over (30 min Didi), also check out Jin Li (short 5-10 min Didi) for some traditional tourist fun. The evening walk around the hotel is amazing if you like shopping and dining. Chengdu surprised me with its up market sophistication and the hotel mirrored this.

We stayed at Yunshuijian Longxing Courtyard in Pengzhou for ten days while visiting family in the area, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel has a particularly attractive setting right next to Longxing Temple and is very centrally located. Rather than being one large hotel building, the property consists of several smaller one- and two-storey buildings arranged around the grounds, which gives it a lot of character and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. We had booked three rooms, and after a few days all three were upgraded free of charge to significantly larger and more comfortable rooms. This was a very nice gesture and something we genuinely appreciated. There are, however, a few areas where improvements would make the experience even better. The main issue was the air conditioning. In practically all of our rooms, the temperature control did not work properly. The air conditioning cooled the rooms effectively, but did not stop once the selected temperature had been reached. As a result, room temperatures sometimes dropped to around 19°C, and the only practical way to regulate this was to switch the air conditioning on and off manually. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is very much focused on Chinese tastes, with noodle soup, eggs and various warm dishes. Western options are essentially limited to toast and jam, so international guests should set their expectations accordingly. Overall, we found the breakfast average in terms of both selection and quality, although perfectly adequate for a predominantly Chinese-style breakfast. Unfortunately, our last evening was affected by a more serious issue. Following very heavy rain, a considerable amount of water entered our daughter’s room, leaving part of the bed wet. The hotel staff reacted quickly and provided another room, which we appreciated, but naturally this was not the ideal way to end an otherwise enjoyable ten-day stay. Apart from this, we enjoyed our time at Yunshuijian Longxing Courtyard very much. Its central location is a real advantage, with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafés within easy walking distance. We did not try any other food at the hotel apart from breakfast. Overall, the beautiful setting, the unusual courtyard-style layout, the comfortable upgraded rooms and the convenient location made this a very pleasant place to stay in Pengzhou. With some attention to the air-conditioning controls and the water ingress issue, it could be an even better hotel.
