"I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"The hotel's location is superb, right by the South Gate. Xiaobo BBQ and Huangji Rolled Rice Noodles are just a few minutes' walk away, offering easy access to all attractions within the ancient city. The hotel itself boasts a unique architectural style, featuring antique wooden structures. The corridors and courtyard are thoughtfully decorated, and the rooms are spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive; upon check-in, we were immediately offered welcome fruits and snacks, and she proactively provided a Jianshui travel guide and a local food map. Any questions we had were promptly addressed, showcasing truly excellent service! The hotel's breakfast was delicious. The 'caoya' rice noodles were incredibly fresh and savory, and the sweet potatoes were exceptionally sweet. While the selection wasn't extensive, every dish was fresh and delicious. Waking up and enjoying a steaming bowl of 'caoya' chicken soup rice noodles by the small attic window, with beautiful views, was the perfect start to the day!"

"The hotel is a bit old, so the decor is a little dated, but the room was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The shower water pressure was strong, and the temperature was just right. The breakfast selection was quite varied, catering to different tastes. The front desk staff were very friendly! It's very close to Jianshui Ancient City!"

"The inn is right next to Zhu Family Garden. There are places to eat downstairs, and it's very close to every tourist attraction. The owner and his family are very nice, there is a pick-up service, and there is a place to drink tea in the lobby. There are more than two bottles of bottled water in the room, you can get them at the front desk. My family of six consumes several bottles a day. When we went out to play in the rain, the owner's mother was so thoughtful to collect all the clothes we had hung outside. It was a great stay. I will stay at your house again if I have the chance, and I will also recommend it to my friends!"

"This was the second stop on our self-driving trip through Southern Yunnan and, hands down, my favorite hotel of the entire journey. Much of the wonderful impression Jianshui left on me can be attributed to Fuyali Hotel. **Cleanliness:** The hotel was spotless and impeccably tidy. **Location:** The geographical location is absolutely superb, right inside the North Gate of Jianshui Ancient City. It's incredibly convenient for dining, catching a taxi, or exploring the area by car. A huge bonus is its dedicated private parking lot. **Service:** The staff were wonderfully warm, welcoming, and exceptionally attentive throughout our stay."

"The frontdesk staff are helpful and very well trained. The room is excellent - looks just renovated. Quiet for a good night sleep. The complementary tea appreciation is very interesting with a very knowledgable staff who knows all about tea. Live this hotel and highly recommended."

"The location of the hotel is very good, just opposite Chaohui Gate. You can see it from the window of the room. The night view by the lake is especially beautiful. However, because of this, you can hear the singers and square dancers in Chaohuimen Square, which makes it a bit noisy at night. The room is large, the bathroom is also large, the facilities are good, and the layout is elegant. However, a full-length mirror is missing in such a large place. The service is quite good. Because I have to get up early to take the small train, I have made a reservation for breakfast. The restaurant is fully staffed and the grass sprout rice noodles are delicious. Before leaving, I made an appointment for the delivery service and it was delivered to the station on time."

"When traveling to Jianshui with friends, this particularly new and excellent hotel was our first choice. Although it's newly opened, there was no lingering smell of renovation in the rooms. It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for those with cars. The lobby is bright and airy, with great photo opportunities in every corner, including a specially designed Republic of China-style photo spot. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, and the rooms are impeccably maintained. The receptionist even upgraded our room, providing attentive and thoughtful service. The breakfast was also plentiful, with complimentary breakfast and late-night snacks provided – a very considerate gesture. Unfortunately, our itinerary changed at the last minute, so we only had one night to experience it. Next time I'm in Jianshui, I'll definitely stay and enjoy it more. Overall, I applaud my choice of this hotel."
