Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

I’ve had a wonderful stay at the Rescidence Hotel. Staff was very friendly and kind, the room was clean and there was enoough space for 2 persons. The bed was a bit hard for my preference but we stayed for just two nights so it was ok. The location of the Hotel was perfect, between the bars/pubs and the centre. Allthough the busy environment, we were not bothered by noise. I would definitely visit this Hotel if i’m going back to Köln.

The old house is decorated, the aisle is very narrow, the elevator is enough for two people, it seems that the cockroach can be on. The room is spacious, bright and clean, very good; there is a coffee machine at the front desk to pick up hot water, the front desk service is very good; Located in the old town square, not the closest to the Cologne church, but the dining is very convenient. It is very convenient and safe to go out to eat a typical German pig elbow beer. There are taxis waiting for customers to drink at 11 o'clock in the evening. Not far from the pedestrian street, the cathedral, the central station, the railway bridge, parking in the public parking lot out of the tunnel, from the square, very convenient. We stayed in the hotel as a family with 7 years old child without any problem. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so we have no idea about restaurant. Employees are kind and doing their best. Very good location. You can walk all the touristic places. We went to Cologne on December and it was cold. Whenever we felt cold, we turned to hotel for rest in 5-10 minutes. The best christmas market (Heumarkt) is near the hotel and you can use public transport in front of the hotel (if you need). Walk distance to the Dom Cathedral, Love Bridge, Chocolate Museum, Shildergrasse and all the christmas markets.

The room is big enough, clean and the transportation is convenient. I will stay there next time

Die Lage ist gut, zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten zum Dom, in einer einigermaßen ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet aber klein. Hier sind wohl einige Häuser zusammengefügt worden, es wird deswegen wohl Unterschiede in der Größe der Zimmer geben. Schöne und große Auswahl zum Frühstück, welches auf der Website für einen unschlagbaren Preis inkludiert war. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr vorhanden, zu breit sollte das Auto dafür nicht sein. Check In und Out hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Location good, everything clean, rooms maintained and attractively furnished. It would be nice if you don't have to try to fail to connect your iPhone to the TV for 2 hours. Breakfast is rich and pleasant long, please don't come here every 2 minutes to clean, that's a little nervous. The reception is unfortunately over-required with the smallest problem (unfortunately, it would also be appropriate to believe the guest again and again when he reports where he booked something. He usually knows it better than any funny “system”). Otherwise, and yet a successful stay with improvement potential.

We had 5 rooms during Orgatec Exhibition. Hotel was new, employees were kind, breakfast was good and in general it was a clean hotel. It is not in city center but really easy to reach Rudofplatz or Heumarkt with 2 Tram Lines and it takes only 5 stops. Also there were some restaurant and supermarkets around for our needs. Therefore we enjoyed our stay in hotel. Only thing which was negative, you need to inform reception each morning for cleaning rooms. Otherwise it was not cleaned. (we are not informed about this during check-in so we learned that after first day) Despite we informed that for each day, second day of our stay 2/5 rooms are not cleaned. Except this, it was all well clean

The hotel is ok, getting older and that is started to show. However, the hotel staff at reception and cleaning is good. The hotel is located a bit off the Strassebahn stops so there is a few minutes walk to the hotel if you don't have a car. There is missing a walking lane from the street to the hotel, so guests have to walk across a badly illuminated car entrance and a parking lot, it is hazardous. Gas station in front of the hotel is another thing making the arrival site of the hotel environment not so attractive. The other side of the hotel is however nice turning towards the Stadtwald. The really bad experience was the restaurant in the hotel. I like to mention that I very seldom complain at a restaurant, in fact I haven't for years. I ordered a burger and that was the worst service I have experienced for many years. The burger was badly cooked but the worst thing was the buns were so hard that I couldn't cut thru them with a knife. Like they had been frozen in a bag with a hole in it so the bun was exposed to dry cold for long time. I am not joking when I say I couldn't cut through them, it was so literally. I asked the waiter to take it back and he said he would bring a new one. He however did not, and did not approach me to tell me. My wife had her chicken and she finished her meal but not a work from the waiter to me. When I asked for the bill I asked him why and he said the cook had said that nothing was wrong with the burger. I would just stay away from that restaurant, it is a shame for this hotel. Price of hotel was 407 E a double room for 3 nights without breakfast. I travel frequently to Cologne and have stayed in this hotel few times, but I will do my best to stay away from this hotel in the future.
