We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for business in May. The hotel is pretty new - I think less than 2 years old. The rooms are quite big, with full kitchen amenities (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, full set of glasses. The surprise was there was no kitchen roll for cleaning - all the apartments of these types of hotels have some cleaning paper. The location is very close to Koln Messe Deutz station, and we made easy travel arrangements by train to the Dusseldorf fair. The room is clean, the windows are opening (a big plus), and the façade is quite modern. The hotel is quiet, especially since my room faced the open courtyard, which was super quiet, even sleeping with open windows. Breakfast is OK, nothing spectacular, and I think a bit overpriced for the 23 EUR per person. The only problems we had were with sporadic services and some items in the room malfunctions: I had electricity problems with the power supply (caused by a defect in the dishwashing machine which could not be switched off - The fuse went off). I had a problem with the telephone. For every problem, I had to drag to the reception (unable to talk on the phone). The coffee in the room was delivered in the first few days, the next 2 days, and there was no new coffee pack (to make your French press). One day I did not have big towels delivered (the housekeeping did not replace the used towels on the bathroom floor, and I had to go to the reception to ask for them. I would give that hotel 3 stars, but the best surprise was the super fast internet connection (free). We had 200 MB/sec, perfect for surfing and streaming.

Great price for a hotel in this location. The room is a bit limited in size but very clean and comfortable. Being located virtually right behind the Cathedral, this hotel is a nice choice if you want to walk around the city.

The hotel is located beside the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and the cathedral is not too far away. The staffs were a little weird. They tried to be funny but maybe something was lost in translation and made us feeling uncomfortable. One of the staffs didn’t understand our question in English, but instead of trying to understand our question, she insisted her answer which left us more confused. Another staff completely ignored us when we were trying to talk to him because he was “busy” doing something else behind the desk although he made a lot of uncomfortable jokes at the beginning.

The room is big enough, clean and the transportation is convenient. I will stay there next time

Die Lage ist gut, zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten zum Dom, in einer einigermaßen ruhigen Seitenstraße. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet aber klein. Hier sind wohl einige Häuser zusammengefügt worden, es wird deswegen wohl Unterschiede in der Größe der Zimmer geben. Schöne und große Auswahl zum Frühstück, welches auf der Website für einen unschlagbaren Preis inkludiert war. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr vorhanden, zu breit sollte das Auto dafür nicht sein. Check In und Out hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Location good, everything clean, rooms maintained and attractively furnished. It would be nice if you don't have to try to fail to connect your iPhone to the TV for 2 hours. Breakfast is rich and pleasant long, please don't come here every 2 minutes to clean, that's a little nervous. The reception is unfortunately over-required with the smallest problem (unfortunately, it would also be appropriate to believe the guest again and again when he reports where he booked something. The hotel is ok, getting older and that is started to show. However, the hotel staff at reception and cleaning is good. The hotel is located a bit off the Strassebahn stops so there is a few minutes walk to the hotel if you don't have a car. There is missing a walking lane from the street to the hotel, so guests have to walk across a badly illuminated car entrance and a parking lot, it is hazardous. Gas station in front of the hotel is another thing making the arrival site of the hotel environment not so attractive. The other side of the hotel is however nice turning towards the Stadtwald. The really bad experience was the restaurant in the hotel. I like to mention that I very seldom complain at a restaurant, in fact I haven't for years. I ordered a burger and that was the worst service I have experienced for many years. The burger was badly cooked but the worst thing was the buns were so hard that I couldn't cut thru them with a knife. Like they had been frozen in a bag with a hole in it so the bun was exposed to dry cold for long time. I am not joking when I say I couldn't cut through them, it was so literally. I asked the waiter to take it back and he said he would bring a new one. He however did not, and did not approach me to tell me. My wife had her chicken and she finished her meal but not a work from the waiter to me. When I asked for the bill I asked him why and he said the cook had said that nothing was wrong with the burger. I would just stay away from that restaurant, it is a shame for this hotel. Price of hotel was 407 E a double room for 3 nights without breakfast. I travel frequently to Cologne and have stayed in this hotel few times, but I will do my best to stay away from this hotel in the future.

We had 5 rooms during Orgatec Exhibition. Hotel was new, employees were kind, breakfast was good and in general it was a clean hotel. It is not in city center but really easy to reach Rudofplatz or Heumarkt with 2 Tram Lines and it takes only 5 stops. Also there were some restaurant and supermarkets around for our needs. Therefore we enjoyed our stay in hotel. Only thing which was negative, you need to inform reception each morning for cleaning rooms. Otherwise it was not cleaned. (we are not informed about this during check-in so we learned that after first day) Despite we informed that for each day, second day of our stay 2/5 rooms are not cleaned. Except this, it was all well clean
