What a great hotel, it certainly didn't dissapoint! We were upgraded to a room with a view of the lake which was beautiful. We had Christmas dinner buffet and it was one of the best ever, with an amazing amount of choice.The staff were very friendly and helpful, they certainly know what hospitality means. Easy to recommend!

Love the place couldn’t stay for long only one day we stayed but love with the foods great taste and good comfortable the room was.

Cinnamon Lakeside like its sister hotel Cinnamon Grand is one of the leading hotels in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My wife and I with friends have stayed there on a number of occasions. We enjoyed the stay and have nothing adverse to comment.

The staffs in hotel are extremely thoughtful and nice. The breakfast is fantastic. You can enjoy mupltile country food here. The room is very clean. The hotel is near galla face beach. very beautiful view.

first time staying at this hotel. service team was helpful and accommodative to allow me to have a late check out time when my return flight is in the night. great work and keep up the good job.

My issue was with the booking. Upon arrival to the Lakeside Hotel we were told we did not have a reservation, only after providing my booking number several times did they locate my reservation. My family and I traveled for 8 hours by van to arrive and be told we did not have a reservation. Once we established the booking was completed online through Trip.com the check in staff told us their hotel had been experiencing a power outage and we would be transferred to the Grand. Upon arrival at the Grand we had to go over the whole process again regarding the booking which showed me four people when booked and only two on the hotel reservation. (once found) After almost two hours at check in we ended up having to book a second room to accommodate our children. I'm not sure I will use the site again.
