This hotel offers a quiet environment. It is in the old town. Staying in the old town gives me ample opportunities to explore the old town at my own pace. Recommend to travel light because the old town pavement is not ideal for dragging luggage on wheel. Backpack would be the best. I will consider to stay here again if I visit Dali again. It’s entrance is a bid secluded. Please look for the High School East Entrance 云南省大理第一中学(东北1门) because this hotel entrance is about 30 metres from the school entrance.

This was by far our best accommodation in our 10 days in Yunnan. What made our stay truly special was the warmth and kindness of the boss. Being foreigners, we needed advice on how to book stuff, places to eat etc and the boss was there to help us every step of the way. He helped us to reserve a private car for a day’s tour around Erhai Lake for a very reasonable price, woke up early to bring us to the meeting point, and gave us bottles of water to bring along. During our stay in Dali, he regularly updated us through WeChat on potential changes in the weather and sent us kind reminders (e.g. reapply sunblock due to strong UV rays, to bring our umbrella and sweater out) which put a smile on our faces. On the last day, he woke up early just to help us with our luggage to the main road. Also, no worries if you can’t speak mandarin! WeChat has a translate function which is very helpful :) The inn is beautiful and its location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town, yet very quiet at night. Our room was newly renovated, very spacious and very clean. The water pressure was great and the toilet bowl had a bidet function. The AC worked well during our stay as well. Would highly recommend this inn for your stay in Dali!

This location is perfect for your stay in Dali. Right in the middle of Old Town. Great night life. Lots of food and clubs and shops and people walking around. Be prepared that you will have to walk 2 to 3 blocks with your suitcase as old town is walking area. It is worth it to be in the middle of everything. It is easy to take a cab to the lake for pictures. There are lots of scooters and bikes along the lake path. Try to get your cab to drop you off by any of the hotels along the lake and you will rent scooter and have a great time! I will definitely stay here again. Regarding the hotel, it is nothing to see from the outside but the rooms are fabulous. Great linens and towels. Great service. Large room. Great price too.

This is the most comfortable and best hotel I stayed in during my entire trip to Yunnan. The room is bright, clean, spacious and comfortable, and 3 pieces of luggage can be opened at the same time. The mattress is neither hard nor soft, just right + very spacious, and the room is very clean. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, with an outdoor courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the wind and sun. The location of the hotel is also very good, right in the bustling Dali Ancient Town. Although it is bustling and lively, it is very quiet after 10-11 o'clock in the evening and will not affect sleep. Go. If you want to go shopping in the ancient city, you can go left or right when you go out, which is super convenient The boss has a good attitude, is friendly and talkative, and will take the initiative to help us take the luggage to the taxi location. He also treated us to blueberries that afternoon. The only problem that can be picked is that you can't take a taxi to the hotel entrance. It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk to arrive. It is not very friendly to passengers with heavy luggage. But the overall feeling is very good. I really want to come back to stay if I have the chance.

真的踩雷! 這家酒店非常臟而且很舊. 非常噁心. 酒店沒有提供任何行李領取服務. 酒店不提供行李接送服務。所以如果您有大行李，請選擇靠近主街的酒店。 同樣的價格，大理古城的其他地方有很多更好的選擇. Throughout our journey from Kunming to Shangri-La, it has been really great. All the host we meet is really friendly and helpful. This is only host that act really rude, our driver called in the morning requesting someone from the hotel to pick us up from nearby entrance as the location of this hotel is in middle of no where. We called again upon reaching and the host told us they have no one to bring us in, so we have to navigate to their hotel by ourself. The nearest drop-off location to the hotel is about 800meters and we have to drag our luggage through the uneven stone pavement of the town. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing! The pictures i shared speak for itself, the hotel itself is pretty rundown and it is really dirty.
