Dali Hotels with Swimming Pools

The hotel is in great location and the room has great view with a very comfortable bathroom layout (very spacious). The only thing is that the staff at check in and check out took our money. We booked 3 rooms in total and we paid in full at check in. Despite payment with credit card, the staff asked each of us to pay extra RMN1000 per room as a deposit in cash. At check out, no damage was found and they returned our deposit but all the 3 rooms only got RMB900 back. The staff could not speak English and even we could speak a little Chinese, the communication and the explanation is not understandable why we were deducted RMB100 per room total of RMB300 on top of the full payment. Other hotels will just block the credit card as deposit which is standard but when I asked if they can just use credit card that we paid to block the deposit, they said it could not be done. Moreover, when we paid RMB3000 deposit for 3 rooms, we counted RMB100 x30 to the staff. The staff took the money to another location saying they had to use the machine to count, then she came back saying there was only RMB2900. I guess she also took another RMB100 from the cash deposit. (Check in time was on April 10 at 10.30pm and check out time was on April 12 at 9.40am)

It is located in the center of the city, very close to major attractions and business districts, within walking distance to the subway station, and very convenient for public transportation. This saves a lot of time and energy for us tourists. Secondly, the hotel's facilities and services are also impressive. The air conditioner in the room is very effective, the cooling effect is obvious and the noise is extremely low, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable accommodation experience in the hot summer. At the same time, the sound insulation effect of the hotel is also very good, even in the bustling city center, we can have a quiet night. In terms of sanitation, the hotel is kept very clean, whether it is the sanitation of the room or the sanitation of the public areas, it is very good. Our group is very satisfied with the sanitation of the hotel. In addition, the hotel also provides convenient parking services. Although the surrounding parking spaces are limited, the hotel still tries its best to meet our parking needs, so that we don't need to worry about parking problems. Last but not least, the hotel's network is very stable and fast, allowing us to easily complete work or enjoy entertainment while traveling. In general, the performance of this five-star hotel is very good. We are very satisfied in terms of location, facilities and services, and hygienic conditions. Therefore, I highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. Overall rating: five stars.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

This hotel is a relaxing oasis just off the bustling streets of the ancient town. The location was perfect to walk everywhere and the hotel itself was really lovely, homely and uniquely laid out, all the rooms seemed to be a little different and had their own delightful particularities. The owners were super helpful and accommodating, even giving us a free room upgrade (comfiest bed I’ve slept in in a while!) and helping out with finding us places to covid test and answering any questions we had about the town. We ended up spending quite a bit of time at the pool because the atmosphere was so relaxing and we even made friends with the hotel dog ‘General’. A great place to experience Dali from!

A 10 minute taxi from the old town. Great service and a wide selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Buffet style with lots of options for Chinese or plenty of Western options too. Reasonably priced and great views of the lake. After a day walking around the old town or hiking on the mountain it was nice to return to the peace and quiet of this hotel.

Excellent location, big rooms, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the location inside the Dali Ancient Town, just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the old town. This is convenient if you are renting a car or taking cabs to get around Dali, as cars are not allowed inside the ancient town most of the time. The hotel has great views of the mountain and has a very modern look and feel. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

This hotel is situated away from the busy side of Erhai Lake, but to me it's a plus point as you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake without all the cars and people crowding round (as we visited during the local school holidays). Usually the taxi / drivers will drop you at a communal carpark, then you can ask the staff to pick you up (if u have luggages) and they'll come with a golf cart! It's actually a very short walk away, but the road is cobbled so not the most convenient with luggages. The staff reached out to me via WeChat the day before to give us instruction for pick-up and they arranged for a driver pick up from Dali station to the hotel. Everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming, and everything went smoothly. Room was excellent! It's pretty big and super clean, even with a bidet! While our view from the balcony was a bit restricted, but you can just go down to the first floor to see the sunrise. They were also nice enough to help us carry our luggages up as there's no lift. Breakfast was lovely, and it even came with croissants (optional). There's also places to chill at the garden of the hotel, with a pool! Sadly we didn't have enough time in Dali to enjoy just chilling and enjoying the lovely scenery (both the lake and the hotel itself which has lovely flowers). Will love to stay here again if I'm ever back in Dali!

Facilities: Bathtub, washing machine, smart toilet, overall good, disposable bath bags, laundry beads are also replenished every day. The only drawback is that the hot water is not hot enough on the first day of stay, the bath is getting colder and colder, maybe someone gave feedback on the second day and it was improved Holiday style afternoon tea: stayed for two days, no one asked if it was needed/when it was needed, and finally checked out without using it. But it's a bit far from the ancient city and Cangshan Mountain, and it's tiring to drive back after playing at night

One day in Haidong, as if living in a picture frame I stayed in Kunming for two days on the weekend to escape from work Originally, I planned to stay in Haixi for two nights. By coincidence, I had dinner with an old friend at this hotel. I was shocked by the sunset in the restaurant. The key is that such a beautiful restaurant tastes good, so I decisively checked out of the room in Haixi and decided to stay immediately I booked a family room. The room is very large and the bed is super comfortable. The room is in a single-family villa with a large and beautiful terrace garden for taking pictures and watching the sea. There is also a function area downstairs where you can cook and play mahjong. It is very suitable for families or sisters to travel together The afternoon tea served in the sea view restaurant is also very exquisite. Sitting in the restaurant, you can overlook the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. The unpredictable clouds cover the top of the mountain like snow. After a while, they slowly roll over and coil between the mountains like jade belts. Columns of light pass through the sky like crystals. I sat and watched the clouds for an afternoon, and I felt that I couldn’t see enough.

The waterfront B&B is very quiet. The facilities and butler service are worth more than five stars. Breakfast, afternoon tea, midnight snacks, and luggage pick-up by the butler. The open-air landscape public area is relatively large in the ancient town. There is a small garden and an open-air restaurant in the open air, both of which are suitable for taking pictures. There are only two water swings, and this is one of them. The Santorini style, the view in the room is great, unobstructed, and you can see the sunrise and sunset of Erhai Lake in the room in the morning and evening.
