Five-star recommendation! Our family stay at the Four Seasons Whale Island exceeded expectations; it's absolutely perfect for a family beach vacation. The hotel boasts an excellent location with its own private beach. You don't have to go far to let the kids dig in the sand and explore the shore, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some starfish. The little ones had an absolute blast. Amber Bay, with its larger expanse of sea perfect for wading and shell collecting, is just a short walk away, offering plenty of opportunities for beachcombing. The surrounding amenities are also top-notch, with authentic seafood restaurants serving delicious meals and trendy, Instagrammable cafes that are perfect for snapping great photos and relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable. Each is equipped with an extra-large bathtub, which is wonderfully relaxing after a day of playing by the sea. Just a friendly reminder: remember to close your doors and windows, as small insects can occasionally fly in. Overall, our stay was fantastic, though I have two small suggestions for improvement: Firstly, a mini-fridge in the room would be incredibly convenient, especially in summer for storing cold drinks, baby food, and fresh ingredients. Secondly, I hope the bedding maintenance can be enhanced in the future; some sheets and duvets weren't as pristine as they could be. Regular replacement and updates would further elevate the quality. All in all, this is a highly recommended resort in the Dalian Shicao area that we'd gladly return to. It's a top choice for family trips, and I recommend it to families looking for a peaceful seaside escape and easy beach exploration!

The location is excellent, with sea views and Fisherman's Wharf across the street. You can feed seagulls near the bridge in front of the hotel, making it a great spot for visiting Tiger Beach Park. The rooms are unique, with disposable towels and bath towels. It's also close to the subway station, making transportation convenient.

My old parents came from Korea. We - 6 people - wanted to have a great memory during their stay in Dalian. Its location was perfect, sitting at the heart of fishermen s warf, but it was right after rain that things were humid. I should admit that for the peak time and prime location, it is a reasonable price and I blame the wet weather for some smelly environment. Should avoid wet weather. It is already right at the sea. Also, the price is as much as other 5 stars that are not in this location. There are lots of insta spots in and out of the hotel, so it is whether to put yourself at the top location with a bit reasonable price or modernized hotels like Hilton and intercontinental that are farther away and a couple of bucks more expensive.

The hotel is very conveniently located, with subway and bus stations very close and many routes. Some attractions can be reached directly. Souvenirs were given when entering the store. The service was super good. The room was very clean. Takeaways were delivered directly to the room by robots. I was super satisfied! The location and transportation are so convenient!

A family of three drives to Dalian, and the living experience must be full marks. First of all, the location is very superior, in the center of the play area,1-2 kilometers away from Laohutan, Bangyu Island, Shicao and other places. It is very convenient to go out by bus. The surrounding 200 meters are all available for supermarkets and restaurants. Secondly, the room is as shown in the picture. One by one restore (walking in a hurry and not taking a full picture), It is rare to maintain such a clean and tidy indoor environment during the peak tourist season. Finally, the focus is on the service awareness. The owner of the hotel is a enthusiastic and attentive brother. On the first day, I found that the indoor air conditioner was unstable. The boss responded positively and sent someone to the door to serve when it was very late. Every time the phone call can be connected and answered seriously, and we can actively help and always pay attention to the progress when we encounter difficulties. Let us feel the warmth of this trip to Dalian. I really recommend it!

The room was absolutely amazing! I had a great stay, it was very clean, and the service was top-notch – they were always ready to help with anything we needed. Being right by the beach was beautiful and made for a truly memorable stay. I genuinely loved it and will definitely recommend it to all my friends. Discovered this hidden gem during the May Day holiday! The environment is fantastic, and it offers great value for money. It's located inside the scenic area, which means ordering takeout might be a bit inconvenient, but the beautiful surroundings more than make up for it. I even got to watch the sunrise over Bangchuidao Island from my room – it was stunning. To reach the hotel by car, you'll need to enter through the North Gate of the scenic area; the South Gate is only for pedestrian visitors, so don't get them mixed up!

The B&B is in a good location, close to the beach, with convenient parking, clean rooms, good soundproofing and quietness, complete facilities, good breakfast, enthusiastic service from the front desk and floor service staff, and close to the attractions. In general, this is a good experience, feeling like home, great

The overall stay experience is super satisfied! The location is very good to find and travel is particularly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept until dawn. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the response is timely, the hygiene is in place, the price is super high, I will choose this next time, highly recommended!
