2nd time travelling to China and chose Manxin again. In Dalian, location is ok with lots of eatery and some shopping nearby. Breakfast has good variety. Taste is good but sadly most of the cooked dishes turn cold. High tea was disappointing, as breakfast leftovers were served. Cakes were dry, and not replenished in time. On the last day, we left early and hotel prepared some breakfast for us to takeaway. One egg and 2 puffs - Not fantastic though. Most of the times staff were friendly and helpful. Overall stay is still good.

! First, the key points: This hotel opened in April. When booking, I only considered the new facilities and nice environment, ignoring the issue of lingering paint odors from the recent opening. The room had a particularly strong paint smell. The hotel tried to mask the odor with air fresheners in the elevator and rooms, but after closing the doors and windows at night, the pungent smell of paint couldn't be masked at all, making the room very stuffy. People with respiratory allergies or rhinitis should be cautious about staying here; it's so bad that you can't sleep properly without opening the windows. 1. Location: Overall, it's pretty good, very close to Xinghai Square, just a few minutes' walk away; there's a bus stop right outside the door, with direct access to the Forest Zoo. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and delivery is available. The only minor issue is that delivery riders occasionally make mistakes due to unfamiliarity with the location, but overall it's not a big problem. 2. Room Facilities: The decor is decent, considering it's a newly renovated hotel. However, the lingering smell of renovations was a major drawback: On the first night, in a large room with aromatherapy, and without air conditioning, the smell was barely tolerable and didn't affect my sleep. On the second night, I moved to a smaller room, and turning on the air conditioning immediately woke me with a strong renovation odor. I coughed incessantly and my eyes watered; even the aromatherapy couldn't mask the smell, so I had to immediately turn off the air conditioning and open the windows for ventilation. For the next few days, I could only sleep with the windows open, completely avoiding the air conditioning, as the odor would permeate the entire room, making it stuffy and difficult to breathe. 3. Regarding bedding: The mattress was of medium firmness and provided good support, preventing back pain upon waking. However, the pillow selection was very basic; all four pillows in the room were the same height, with no height options. When I requested a lower pillow from the front desk, I was told that this was the only size available, which was very inconvenient for guests accustomed to lower pillows. 4. Soundproofing: The first night, the room faced the main entrance. With the windows closed, the street noise was barely noticeable. However, the bathroom's drainage and running water noise were extremely poorly insulated; anyone using water upstairs could hear it clearly, like a loudspeaker. Subsequent rooms faced a back alley, surrounded by air conditioner units. Closing the windows blocked out about 90% of the noise. However, the room had a strong odor, so I had to open the windows, resulting in a situation where it was noisy when open and stuffy when closed. Fortunately, the bathroom's soundproofing was acceptable, so there were no additional disturbances. 5. Other aspects: Room cleaning needs to be specified separately. They won't enter the room to clean without informing the front desk, which is a plus for me.

The location is absolutely perfect, just minutes' walk from the [subway station/shopping area/attractions], making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, with great natural light, and all the furniture and appliances were provided, especially the [washing machine/projector/kitchenware], which were particularly useful. The host and front desk staff were warm and attentive, resolving any issues promptly. It was excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Overall, my family and I had a very satisfying stay. Lynne was incredibly thoughtful; seeing that we had a child, she proactively offered complimentary children's toiletries, which was a lovely gesture. The room was clean, dust-free, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast offered a good variety suitable for all ages, and the hotel's quiet environment ensured a very peaceful night's rest. I genuinely recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless with three beds, arranged in a loft style. It felt very safe and comfortable. The washing machine and fridge were all in perfect working order. After our boat trip, our clothes were covered in sand, and we were able to wash them clean right there. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting to Xinghai Square and Sunasia Ocean World. Definitely check out the restaurant called Qianhu Village nearby, it's about a 10-minute walk and highly recommended. A special shout-out to the toy car – my son absolutely loved it and didn't want to get off! Oh, and a big thank you to the owner for helping us book the sailboat excursion, rubber boat, and diving activities; it saved us money compared to booking them ourselves.

The hotel environment is very good, the location is in all directions, the transportation is convenient, the bus and subway are convenient. The hotel room is spacious and bright, the facilities are complete and brand new, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable to sleep, the bathroom is dry and wet, and the design is reasonable. The front desk staff is good, the cleaning is also serious, it is a good hotel worth staying in.
