Hotels in Xinghai Square/Stasia Ocean World/Xinghai Park, Dalian

This trip to Dalian, I brought my child and a friend. The front desk, seeing I had a child, specially prepared slippers and a toiletry bag. My friend checked in earlier, and they also helped me get a room next door. The staff were gentle and attentive, not perfunctory, and they helped look after our luggage. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Thumbs up!

Overall, the room was good. When I first saw it, I thought it would be noisy, but after checking in at night, I found it to be fine. With the windows closed, I couldn't hear any noise, so the soundproofing is actually quite good. Unless someone upstairs was deliberately stomping around loudly, I didn't find it noisy. During my five-day stay, only on the last night did my family find it a bit loud, but I didn't. The hygiene was also good. The main thing is that it's close to the sea, so it's very convenient to take the kids to the beach anytime. Getting a taxi and finding places to eat nearby are also quite convenient. Chenxi Tianjie is a few hundred meters away, and Gaoxin Wanda is a few kilometers away. There are breakfast shops, convenience stores, and dumpling shops right downstairs. Across the street, there's even a seafood BBQ place, although the stir-fried clams were a bit salty. In the evenings, there are many vendors selling various fruits, which is very convenient. If you're taking kids to the Shengya Ocean World, remember to buy tickets at the hotel; they're cheaper than buying them on-site. **They're both cheaper. I bought mine from Qunar.com and only realized the hotel's price was better after getting back to the hotel after my visit. I ended up paying about 20 yuan more.

The room was quite spacious, and the surroundings were relatively quiet. The sea view room offered a beautiful vista, with trees, green spaces, yachts, buildings, and a cross-sea bridge, making it a more dynamic and interesting sea view than just the horizon. Compared to the Grand Hyatt, it offers better value for money. However, some details don't quite meet five-star standards, such as the lack of a swimming pool. On the plus side, the service attitude was excellent, and Keke from the front desk was particularly understanding and accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. If I'm ever staying near Xinghai Square again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. The sea view here is much more varied and less monotonous than a simple sea-and-sky horizon. Xinghai Park is very close by; it was fantastic to spend the morning playing on the beach there, then come back to the room for a shower, make some tea, and just relax while admiring the sea view.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom even had a large window with a view! We requested a non-smoking room, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable; our child slept exceptionally well. The front desk and housekeeping staff were always accommodating, gentle, and enthusiastic. The tofu pudding at breakfast had seaweed in it, haha, a taste of the ocean, and it was delicious! The hotel's location is super convenient for taxis, making it easy to get anywhere. There are all sorts of delicious food options right outside the door. We could walk to Dalian Museum and Xinghai Square, enjoying the sea breeze – it was very pleasant! We'll definitely be back; this Atour store gets a full five-star rating!

Cleanliness: terrible. Didnt notice the urine stain around the toilet bowl until second day. Informed the counter but can only clean the next day. Didnt dare to use the toilet for the entire 4 days. Beside the urine stained toilet, the staff didnt bother to put my pillows in place. Tea bags wasnt refilled until i feedback to the counter. Very slipshod cleaning work. Counter service: Excellent. Helped me contact rider when my parcel went missing. Bathroom: would prefer if theres hook inside the bathroom. Feels very cold coming out after shower to retrieve towes. Room: No soundproof at all. Wont recommend if you are a light sleeper. Lighting is good and bright.

Room amenities: Very complete. I could heat up my takeout in the microwave, and there was a large double-door fridge. The sofa and bedding were clean and comfortable, with a modern decor. The room felt new and very clean. Room cleanliness: Very clean, especially the mouthwash cups which felt high-quality. The disposable toiletries were all well-stocked. If I needed anything, the friendly guy at the front desk brought it over right away – excellent service. Spacious room: It was very large with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, and excellent soundproofing. The upstairs bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. This is the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in for its environment – great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I book a hotel.

This is a high-end LOFT Airbnb right next to Xinghai Square, conveniently located next to the subway station, making travel super easy. The room is incredibly well-designed with high ceilings, creating a spacious and bright atmosphere. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the square and the sea, making every corner Instagram-worthy. The entire place features brand-name furnishings and high-end bathroom facilities, with 24-hour hot water and high-speed internet, ensuring an excellent stay. The surrounding area has a mature commercial district and is close to Sun Asia Ocean World and Binhai Road. The host is very welcoming, making the entire check-in and stay experience very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The room was great – very clean and spacious, and having a fridge was super convenient for keeping our fruit. It's an easy walk to Xinghai Square, and there are plenty of places to eat downstairs. We stayed here for three days, and taking taxis to get around was really cheap. We'll definitely come back!
