Hotels in Jinshitan National Holiday Resort, Dalian

The room was very spacious; we booked a family room, and it was clean and tidy with fairly comprehensive amenities. The staff were very enthusiastic. Right outside the hotel, there are plenty of dining options, making it quite lively. It's about a 10-minute walk to Golden Pebble Beach. For Discoveryland, we took a taxi for 10 yuan, which was more convenient and cost-effective than driving. There was plenty of hot water, and in the evening, we could see the Eye of Dalian and fireworks from downstairs while having dinner. I'd highly recommend it.

Traveling to Dalian for the May Day holiday, we spent the last two days at Jinshitan. Having stayed at InterContinental properties many times before, I chose it again. I received a call a day in advance asking for my arrival time and confirming hotel requests, which was great! We arrived quite late, and the front desk staff, Amber, was very attentive. To my surprise, we even got an upgrade during the May Day holiday and a welcome fruit platter. The hotel's location is pretty good; it's about a 15-minute walk from the light rail station, and the beach is very close, right next to Gate 4. During the May Day holiday, there was a shuttle bus service to the scenic spots, running once an hour. The front desk staff made sure to inform and explain this to every guest, which was excellent. Also, the hotel's earplugs were very effective, and I slept really well.

The overall stay exceeded our expectations! The environment was quiet and elegant, and the garden-style hot spring area was meticulously maintained. The hot spring water was natural and genuine, warm and soothing. After a soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all the fatigue from my journey vanished. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the private hot spring tub offered great privacy, which my child absolutely loved. The staff were warm, polite, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. The facilities were comprehensive. This place is perfect for both family trips and relaxing getaways. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

The room was pretty much as pictured, and very clean. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. It's located right across the road from the Discoveryland Ferris wheel, so you can catch some fireworks at night. Shopping and dining options are also conveniently nearby. Breakfast was just okay, though. On a side note, their seafood at the food stall wasn't very fresh.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated. However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons: 1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway. 2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic? 3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken! 4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay. For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel. Service: Good. The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children. It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'.

Staying at this Japanese-style twin room near Discoveryland was such a gem! The 30 sqm space has a perfectly minimalist Japanese aesthetic, with sliding wooden lattice doors and a full tatami mat. The clean, soft wooden tones make every photo Instagram-worthy. The tatami is topped with soft mattresses, feeling warm and comfortable underfoot. The two 1.2-meter beds are spacious, not cramped, making it super relaxing to sprawl out and have tea after a long day of fun. The bathroom is a wet-dry separation, toiletries are well-stocked, and the entire room is spotlessly clean with good ventilation and lighting. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the park, and guests have a private entrance, which is incredibly convenient for returning to the room to rest whenever you're tired. The front desk service is gentle and attentive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety, with views of the park while you eat. For couples, this room really amps up the romantic ambiance. It's quiet and restorative, saving you the hassle of commuting back and forth. I'll definitely rebook here next time I visit Jinshitan!

This hot spring hotel truly has a wonderful ambiance. The lobby, with its new Chinese style and original cypress wood, creates an incredible atmosphere that's perfect for photos. The hot spring experience was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is quiet and secluded, making it ideal for unwinding and relaxing. The staff were attentive and helpful, always ready to assist, and overall, my stay was excellent. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, highly recommended! They offer a free mini-bar, and the coffee in the lobby is very reasonably priced. Even the toiletries smell amazing. There are restaurants nearby, and you can also order food within the hotel, plus plenty of delivery options, so you don't have to worry about food.

I never expected to book this place so randomly, and it was so great! The host was incredibly welcoming ❤️🔥 The room was very clean, and the bedding was my favorite white color—very classy and comfortable. The price was super affordable, making it a truly high-value guesthouse. Highly recommended! The room matched the pictures perfectly; the simple and elegant decor was lovely, and all the facilities were beautifully arranged. It was very clean, so I felt comfortable staying there. Transportation was convenient. The soundproofing was excellent, and the location was especially warm! I slept soundly all night. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time! Convenient transportation; just a few hundred meters to the left is a light rail station. The environment is super cozy and comfortable, perfect for taking photos!
