The front desk service of the hotel is very good. It will speak Mandarin and Cantonese. It will tell you where the main push is in Penang. In the evening, you will put sugar on the bed. The parking space is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can buy a parking ticket. The afternoon tea is very good. Very good, a lot of food nearby

Have stayed at many shared rooms in my years of travel, but this place has to be my favourite so far. Apart from the pretty interior aesthetics, the staff here are some of the friendliest people you will meet in Penang. Special shout-out especially to Peter and Pauline who are more than happy to take care of whatever needs you would have, even if it is just a casual conversation with you while you are sitting along the common corridor. Was also lucky enough to have very friendly roommates, with whom I had a lot of funny and chill times chatting late into the night, despire my short stay there. This hotel has everything which is needed to facilitate a relaxing and wholesome atmosphere to facilitate new friendships and stories to be shared between travellers, before we each move on the our next destination. Will definitely be back again should I find myself travelling solo in Penang in future, and hope to relive similar experiences which make solo travelling and staying shared rooms so fun in the first place, and of course to catch with Peter and Pauline again. God bless the both of them, and all the staff who made the stay so memorable

Room was spacious. Pillow was horrible which I slept without it. Bathroom was furnished with good bathroom accessories. Breakfast was decent with a good selection of carbs, dimsum, salad, pastries, egg service station and DIY noodle station. Some days there are staff who make fresh rotis upon order. May get bored after 3 days eating Cost: ~$90++/night (after tax, fees) Overall:

A Chinese-owned bed and breakfast is very close to the surname bridge. There are also many Chinese-opened tea rooms for breakfast. The room is small, the toilet is cool, and no one can speak Chinese when the boss is absent. The grand birthday of the Tiangong, I do not know whether it is fireworks or someone hit the window. Anyway, when the shower was in the window, the window was so loud that the mother was scared. I thought someone was out of the window. I quickly called to come over and check, and I didn’t find out the reason. The staff was also very good. It’s said that we didn’t change rooms, and we didn’t bother to change the last day.

The room was nice and comfortable, overall fairly clean, and the soundproofing was acceptable. The hotel staff were generally friendly. Although the Malay lady at the front desk didn't seem friendly at first glance, she still maintained a friendly attitude while helping us check in. The hotel's location is convenient, close to many attractions and easy to walk around. However, when we checked in, there seemed to be a problem with the hotel's system, and we were given already-occupied rooms twice in a row, which delayed our schedule a bit. Overall, it was still a good experience.

It started off rough. Got into the hotel early to leave our luggage and the guy manning the check in was cold, standoffish, and didn’t even bother replying to our pleasantries. When we returned, a misunderstanding ensured. Cos of my earlier encounter, I was just unreasonable. But thank goodness for Suhaila (I think) and her manager - they deescalated the situation with grace and aplomb. That bump aside, I had a lovely time. Was in room 213. Initially I was worried because I have read about noise issues coming from the club next door. But either the club was closed or the soundproofing worked, there were no disturbances. We slept like babies. The room was beautiful, and the location is amazing. This hotel is highly Recommended. Just don’t bother to pay extra for the breakfast. That was just too sad. We tried it on our last day in the hotel as we were leaving early for the airport. It was dismal.
