Affordable hotel located at Tsuen Wan, far from city center but near to Disney and airport. Accessible via MTR or bus, you need to walk 10min from MTR, nearest is bus. It’s located behind buildings so quite dark at night, Google map is not very accurate. Room is small, only one person can walk, not easy to open big luggage. No water provided but you can buy at lobby. Staff is friendly and speedy, no deposit required. Overall good value.

The location is a bit inconvenient to be fair, needs a fair bit of walking to get to public transport, in the HK heat it may be a problem. But generally the room is clean, place is nice. Honestly no complaints.

Reasonable price for a comfortable and clean hotel but inconvenient access for transportation if you want to travel by metro only. Shuttle bus from the hotel could help to assist when transferring but with so limited schedules and seats so reservations are needed. If you are on a business trip that you have to be on time all the time, I do not recommend its location. On one hand, staff are helpful and polite.

Transport excellent: many public buses, taxi, olympic mtr nearby, free hotel shuttle was indeed useful. Food: plenty to choose from around the hotel. Room: View from 16th level lovely. Room is clean, shower water is strong and provides relief after a tiring day of exploring, bed is comfortable and slept well. Breakfast: good. Staff: friendly and polite. Others: lots of supermarkets, bakery. Overall: pleasant place.

Overall we liked the cordis for the location. Right by the MTR and tons of shops and restaurants around it. However the “two bedroom” suite was not even 2 connecting rooms….it probably used to be a one bedroom suite which they turned the living room areas into another bedroom. There was only one bathroom so the four of us had to all take turns using it, and had to be very quiet to not wake each other if those staying in the living room area had to use the bathroom. The space was also super tight—all the furniture oversized and just felt very cramped. Also all four of us would sneeze and have allergic symptoms every time we spent time in the room—have no clue why….my daughter and I don’t typically have allergies so I wonder what was causing it. Not sure I would consider staying here again as a result. Really enjoyed the breakfast though.

The location is amazing for the price. Right outside of the subway exit which is great for rainy days. The harbour view from the 31st floor was AMAZING and totally made up for the small size of the room. When I say small, I mean tiny. One person can move around fine but having 2 people stay in the double room would be squished. The total downside was that the pool was closed which we only found out from a small note inside the room after we checked in. The pool was the main reason for our booking... So that was very disappointing.

Located near TST MTR station exit B, it is a convenient place for dining and shopping for sure. The room quality is below my expectation. It always has a nasty smell in the room. I call the room service to handle and they use a fragrance spray. Well, it does not work. When i wake up and go to washroom, i figure out that the smell is especially strong from the ditch. I really hate that disgusting experience. For this price, i think it is NOT worthy and do not meet my expectation.

Celebrated birthday 🎈🎂 Generally speaking the hotel has the best view of Hong Kong👍🏻. With satisfying hygiene conditions and services. Enjoyed the infinity pool, and has the sauna and steam as well. Yet the entrance to check in lobby is actually quite hard to find, we took a longer time than expected to find the lobby. Staff’s attitude was good, but could offer more introduction about the hotel’s background and facilities. The decorations in the room is still okay but the balloon was too childish and can’t hold for long time, deflated quicker than expected…🥺 Unfortunately, we often heard some weird sound from the balcony while sleeping, not sure if it is becoz of the door or too windy, in which we were not able to sleep well.😢 and it was quite disappointing. Overall, the view is amazing, definitely worth for a stay! But hopefully, things could be managed in a more effective way.

The queue for check-in time was so long and moving slow. Each customer spent around 10 minutes on it. The check-in time for hotel is 3pm. However, i got my room at 4:30pm (maybe i booked 2 rooms and prefer to stay together. I also mentioned it on the remarks when i booked it. However, the hotel mentioned they didnt get this info.) They also mentioned due to long holiday, very peak day, the customers we're check-out late. The room is clean, spacious and cozy. The facilities were good. It's very convenient to go to nearby nice restaurants. The swimming pool with slides. Good for kids. However, the swimmers stayed in the pool while someone sliding, it's quite dangerous and may easily get hurt. The staff were not very friendly. The front desk check-in staff was nervous. This should be improved.

JJanet ChuLocation of hotel was quite convenient because it's easy access to Yaumatei MTR station and Nathan Road. Cleanliness was not up to standard due to old carpets in room caused bad smell once entering the room. Had reported to staff on day one when checked in, but nothing could be done due to other rooms also had the same situations. Some of the counter staff were quite helpful, waiters working in Canteen were nice to clients. Highly recommended menu of breakfast could be revised every week, because long time staying clients would feel boring about the choices. House keeping staff were helpful too! Strongly unsatisfied with the laundry machine on 18/F, due to totally three dryers were not well performed, clothes were still wet even though just put small portion of clothes. After complained to front desk staff, nothing could be improved, they just gave a token to client to dry the clothes again! To waste another 40 minutes for drying again!

GGuest UserNice and clean. Comfortable beds and great breakfast choice. The thing they need to change is the opening times for breakfast. 7am seems late for an airport hotel. CCHUN YEONGI have stayed in this hotel many times. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station.Room is large, comfortable and has great view. Shower extremely hot if needed. House-keeping, front desk and cafe staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything is fine except the following: 1. Facilities and overall decoration are a bit old. Probably time for renovation; 2. Wifi is unstable and very often weak. I need to buy a Sim card to get internet service. This definitely needs upgrading asap. Other than that the hotel is highly recommended.

GGraceSummerThe building is split into two blocks which require you to go above your floor in a lift and cross over a terrace and go down 2 floors to arrive at the 4th floor hotel room in which we stayed. Unusual and most inconvenient when it came to moving heavy bags and luggage. No baggage concierge is available. A separate stairwell enables access to the ground floor via a private entrance/exit. If flights of stairs are a problem for you this could be an issue, otherwise it will require you to embark on the unusual route of having to go up first to go down if choosing to use the lift if your room happens to be in the separate block. The room itself was pleasant and styled in an appealing old fashioned manner, albeit very cramped with not enough storage space we found. The addition of a small balcony enabling a space to smoke with our double standard room was fantastic. Being able to be outside without leaving your room was very welcome. This was the sole feature (as well as laziness) as to why we extended our stay in the hotel past our initial booking check out date. However management tried to increase the rates the longer we stayed not honouring the prices offered by booking sites only offering 'take now' or lose the room and non-negotiable walk-in prices at the reception. (Don't be fooled), when you would otherwise expect rooms to offer some form of discount the longer you stay. Front of house staff were very friendly and helpful and the efficient cleaners who unfortunately don't clean under the beds for some peculiar reason. However the rest of the room was well maintained daily. Some of our facilities were broken however, the outdoor balcony light didn't work, the tiny sink slender man would have trouble using and the built in usb chargers in the wall did not work at all requiring us to buy one and plug into a regular power socket in order to charge devices. Steady WiFi connection. A handy safe to store valuables, a washing machine on the first floor, hang dry as the dryer was terrible or alternatively using a launderette was a more practical option. As well as a microwave and portable oven for public use downstairs next to the reception. A medium sized smart television with Amazon prime included. A kettle and tea and coffee for two is provided daily as well as a handy sparsely stocked mini fridge whose contents were never touched. However these flaws were not a deal breaker for us, although it could be for others. Wan Chai is also a very busy and noisy road. Soundproofing is not the best so if you are close to ground level noise pollution from pedestrians, buses, taxis, and general traffic as well as shops which advertise with megaphones during opening hours could be a major issue for those noise sensitive. Despite the mingles shortcomings we did find the room endearing and the location is absolutely fantastic and very accessible to many shops and food establishments (breakfast and dinner options on your doorstep), and even a friendly cheap! locals darts bar round the corner within staggering distance (casks darts bar). Ferry, MTR, bus stops and trams to central and causeway bay within short walking distance too. In all we both found we enjoyed our stay in the Mingle. I have no reservations about staying again due to its fantastic location and the provided balcony feature providing current room rates are competitive.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition. I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely. The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.

RRonaldThe perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.

KKrisOur recent stay at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects that shaped our overall impression. Pros: Convenient Location: The hostel is strategically located in a lively neighborhood, providing easy access to public transportation and local attractions. Polite and Friendly Staff: The staff at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui were consistently polite and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere during our stay. Cons: Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort. Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay. Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements. Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations. Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas. Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests. Value for Money: Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services. Conclusion: The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience in the future.
