I was not able to take a picture of the room we stayed in. The location was city centre and accessible to taxi and bus. The room and bath were clean. Liquid soap was provided but no shampoo and the wifi in our room on the 8th floor was weak. There was no cafe and restaurant in the hotel the staff said that due to the pandemic they closed it. There was a 24/7 convenience store near and walking distance restaurants. The staff were accommodating. Overall 8/10 rating.

Money worth it staying here. The pictures online are the same in reality. Although there's a queue during check in (around 3.30pm), the receptionist worked really fast and I got checked in quickly.
Room is very clean. Shampoo, bath gel, dental kits, towels are provided. About the towel, the receptionist told me that towels will be given when they got the newly cleaned towels. Just need to wait awhile, no big deal as we are not rushing to use it.
The view from the pool is absolutely amazing. Seeing it in person is much more breathtaking than the pictures.
There's a deposit of RM500 as mentioned in the description. I paid it by cash and they refunded back to me after they checked the room during check out. I just need to wait around 10 minutes (maybe more for others as they need to wait for the lift) for them to check. There's a T&C to sign during check in, so just follow the rules and not having any penalty to get back the deposit.
Definitely will come again.

Good clean room, with great view! There was a lot of people in the lobby when we came, but we only waited less than 10 minutes to check in because there was an efficient number system. I read a lot of reviews about the lift situation, but we actually went down quite a number of times just to go out and eat, or grab something from grab, & the lift process was quite smooth. All in all, a great stay.

The view from my room was so good. I feel peace in the big city. The room and service was superb. But lack on restaurant during breakfast on high demand. They didnt serve us. I need to find my own seat. Is hard to find on peak hour with stroller and toodler. Lucky had one service staff notice us and give us a seat. Breakfast is continental and a lot of choices. Check in / out smoothly. Even i came during renovation but it won't be difficult for us. I surely come again after fully renovation.

This is my second time staying here. I really like Ibis KL . Breakfast decent but I like the staff keep on top up whenever the food almost finish. The staff really nice and helpful. The main attraction of course the swimming pool and free parking that I consider staying here . One more thing although i come during Christmas... The check in and check out process is so smooth consider this heavy traffic and full house. Thumb up for all the staff.

Mercure Glennmarie is one of my favourite hotel whenever I'm on biz travel to KL. Everything was fine. Besides, some improvements are needed as listed below.
1. For the bathroom without the partition, the water mostly may covered half of the floor. This is hazardous and slippery. I fell once when walking with slipper into the wet bathroom. Hope the management can consider putting an anti slip mat in front of the basin.
2. The crew in the breakfast area seem to be talking too loud and making joke with each others during the service. It seem to be lack of professionalism in their roles. More strict discipline enforcement are required.
Others area are perfect. Keep up with a good works.

ZZomoFreaking Amazing hotel!
The apartment was ridiculous huge and spacious.
Everything was clean and comfortable.
From the point you exit your car/ride, you already feel the hospitality at the top notch.
Nice pool but a little small,
Amazing free mocktails in the evening.
All the staffs were helpful and polite!
Only down side is the unfriendly placement of charging point in the apartment
GGuest UserBooked the wrong Melia (didn’t know there are two Melia in KL, older Melia in Bukit Bintang) but I’m very pleasantly impressed by every aspect of this 4-month old (as of Aug 2023) modern lifestyle hotel. Location wise - it’s at Chetras hood, majority Chinese Malaysian populated with heartlander stores, off the track shops and locals-go-to eateries. The hotel is located next to an ultra big shopping mall (comparable in size to Hudson Yards on 34th & 12th in Manhattan, Takashimaya in Orchard Singapore). Chetras is located at the fringe of downtown KL, 10-15 mins Grab ride, 15 mins MRT ride away. The success & sustainability of any service business are attributed not only to its hardwares but also its soft factors, I.e. “softwares” & most importantly for both to work hand in hand. INNside has both, which more than compensated for not situated right in downtown KL. Besides having well designed decor, ultra clean, sleek & modern rooms & facilities, the attentiveness, friendliness & warmth of the staff (from managers like Viveen, Azwan, Nastasia to all the crew staff - housekeeping, technical, F&B, front desk) touch our heart). Just to list an example amid many, I came for morning breakfast 15-20 mins late one day and although they had cleared the breakfasts, the manager was very accommodative, in offering coffee before I head out. I was extremely touched when he & the crew later brought out & offered good selection of breads & fruits, and I was well fed & energized for my days! It’s all these soft touches (and not blindly following the rule books) that leave a great impression! Kudos to the INNside team! Keep it up!
NnotreveRoom type: 2 bedroom Premier Suite (free upgrade! Initially booked 2 rooms (one bedroom suite) but rooms were far from each other. Hotel very kindly allowed us to check into a 2 bedroom suite)
Room number: 1602
Pros:
- location location location (in the heart of the Bukit Bintang area. A 10 mins walk places like Pavilion Mall, Jalan Alor food street and a 20 mins walk to KLCC)
- Super value for money (SGD$180 a night with breakfast)
- complimentary parking
- lovely rooftop pool (31st floor with nice views of the city
- another pool on level 1
- suite comes with a study (useful if you are here for work)
Cons
- some signs of wear and tear
- creaky doors
- my master bedroom bathroom did not come with separate shower stall and tub as advertised. The stall and tub were together.
- tub a tad short and shallow
- 40” TVs are on the small side
- breakfast pretty limited in terms of quality and variety of food
JJosephineMy second home in KL and I have been staying with park royal since 2022 (I go to KL once every 2 months) so I lost count how many times I stayed in Park royal. This year is the first time I spent my birthday there and a very pleasant surprise from the hotel. The bed is so comfortable with the super duper soft pillow that I always slept well when I was there. Please keep the good job that you guys have been doing and kuddos to the house keeping and reception staff whom are always smiling and greeting me, your hard work and professionalism is what keep me coming back! Not to forget the breakfast which is so good!
FFirdaus BachikChecked into The Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur and it was a letdown from the start. No one helped with our bags at the door, and we had to juggle them ourselves. Then, a super long wait to check in because there weren’t enough counters open.
The place feels stuck in the past - the hair dryer, TV, and even the electrical outlets seemed old. Had to switch rooms because the first one’s aircon was busted, and getting someone to help move us took forever and too many calls.
Overall, not the great experience I was hoping for at The Intercontinental. They really need to step up their game in service and modernizing their amenities.
HHT tripperI was upgraded a very good room with high ceiling and great views. The room size is huge and very comfortable. The overall stay was pleasant.
Food:
More suitable for Malaysia/Singapore palate. It felt repetitive after having it for 3 days and more.
Services:
Great, responded in a timely fashion
Rooms are clean
Other facilities:
Gym was ok and mostly empty
There were no bath tub in the room.
Location:
The area is mostly hotels and office buildings.
There is a small mall within walking distance that has many food options in the afternoon office hours.
Nevertheless the overall location is easy to reach any part of KL easily.
PPRINCESS MAE H VWe stayed in Ancasa last April 9-12,2024. Supposedly, we plan to stay there for 2 days only, but when we arrived at the hotel, it looked like a five star but cheap value for your money.
From lobby, the smell was just relaxing. The people were all nice and friendly.
We were transferred to a room with a nice view after the aircon had some malfunctioning but fixed immediately. The Manager in day shift, Ms. Mel was helpful in many ways. The experience we had were superb and for keeps!
The location was just few steps to chinatown, hop on hop off, and train station.
I will definitely come back to KL and choose the same hotel all over again.
Nnurulaizzah mohd fuadthe hotel's room really nice. the only things I need to highlight is about the elevator at the hotel. it only have 3 units and cannot accommodate the guest efficiently especially when time to check out. during my stay, only 2 elevator functioning and it takes me 30 minutes to reach lobby for check out and I am staying at 13th floor. we also facing a strict procedures by the hotel stated that, they only can process to check in at 3pm. they do not open for check in even 1 minute earlier.
YYap Then Chye MichaelOverall is good, the upsets was the staff’s at the coffee house is really treating like they owned the hotel. It’s good if you really giving good service, sad it’s like before breakfast time is up they are like chasing guess away and some like unwilling to work.
The next one is every time I booked a room is a Superior or Deluxe King for 2 Adults and 1 child (My child today is 7yrs 5 month old) 3 persons. As per the booking child stay for free. So every time after checking in I request for 1 more towel for my child ( room have 2 towels) the housekeeping person told me I need to pay RM 1 for that towel. Once I agreed to be charged but when checkout they did not charge for it. This year 2024 CNY I checked in and again I requested for 1 towel (3rd towels) . I was told that I have to pay RM2 for an extra towel. After explaining she agreed to provide me without extra charge. Thank you very much.
My concern here is if the hotel management wants to charge for an extra towel for rooms booked for 2 adults and I child or 2 child that stays for free , please put up a notice so hotel guests are aware and will pay for it. That situation is like the staff can say when they will charge extra as they wish. Up to now I still wondering how they managing this hotel.
Thank you.
FFatin Nabila HusnaLocation ok cause near to few malls and easy access to KL city. Parking secured with security. Lift to room also secured. Room is clean and well prepared. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will recommend to others as well. Keep up the good work!
