A négocier avant séjour ou sur place. We took Highway Bus (2.5hr) from Fukuoka Airport to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Koko Hotel is directly connected to the bus terminal. From the lobby, we get a clear view of Kumamoto Castle. Our Superior Twin Room is very spacious and comfortable. We paid Y32,310 for 2 nights. It is 10 mins walk to the Castle, and 10 mins taxi ride to Kumamoto Station. Amu Plaza next to Kumamoto Station has plenty of eateries. Sakuramachi has Family Mart, restaurants and shops.

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.
