Excellent location. Main hotel being refurbed so stayed in sister hotel opposite. No sign to make this obvious just looks like a house. Arrived early and room ready which was a bonus. Has pre-paid for breakfast as assumed would start at 6-30am like every other hotel but it was 7am so had to skip due to early start. Room clean with everything you need but very small and no double glazing so noisy. Water,tea and coffee and high end toiletries (Elemis) were restocked during stay which was a nice touch. Short walk from Oxford street. Looking forward to getting back into the main hotel after the refurb which will be a step up.

The Churchill continues to be my first choice in London, since 2008. They have an incredibly trained staff, which are always looking to attend to what we need. It is a place you can always trust on every single issue you may have. I must say Mr Cesary, one of the concierges, is a fantastic person, a true concierge that gives you all the tips, takes care of all the details in every single request. There is TV (pairing devices) issue; which couldn’t make it work with my iPhone. I let them know, they are aware, they tried their best, but it seems like they must have to replace its system, to manage this issue; every other hotel I stayed, I could pair my device easily so it is just something the hotel should adjust. They don’t loose at all their brilliant service because of it, as a frequent guest of them, I wish this could be heard as an advice. And I’ll continue staying with them.

Good Staff, It was my first trip to London , but thanks to Mariko and Adrian's support, it was a very meaningful trip. The city ”Shoreditch” that Mariko introduced me to was Very exciting, and I enjoyed the live jazz ” ronnie scott's” that Adrian recommend. I think they are very relaiable. Of cource, it is indeed a Prince-Hotel. The quality of the guest room is impeccable. Located in a quiet residential area, the hotel is quiet and relaxing. It is not close to Paddington or St,Pancras, but it is only a 3-minutes walk to the Marble Arch gate of Hyde Park. I can assure you that you will enjoy Hyde Park every morning and evening. The food is also good. However, if I had one request, I would like to have English Breakfast with ”baked beans”. Since I came all the way to London, I wanted to eat them.

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

The Dilly was probably amazing in the 1980's and 1990's but not much has been updated since then! We stayed in a Dilly Classic room which was perfectly fine, a good size, clean with strong Wifi. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I know some people on this site weren't impressed by the breakfast but I thought it was great. Obviously, the location is fabulous. However, I didn't feel the room was up to five-star standard. The coffee was instant and the milk small UHT cartons. There was no fridge or mini-bar (though we were in the 'cheapest' room so may be different elsewhere). The toiletries were cheap and basic (so bring your own), there was no plug by the bed to charge devices overnight and no Blu-tooth speaker which seems to be a given now in higher-end hotels. The style of the room itself was quite dated including the landline next to the toilet which I'm sure was incredibly cool in 1986 :) Overall, if this was a three-or-four-star hotel I'd give it full marks, but as it's a five-star, (and more importantly charging five-star prices), it's lacking in some areas. I believe the hotel is currently 'between owners' which makes sense, as I guess the current owners don't want to invest and are ticking along until the new ones take over. It's not dreadful by any means, but they charge a lot for what you get.

This hotel gives me a better feeling. Conveniently located on a hillside, trains and tracks can be seen in front of the hotel. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bathrooms are large, and the bathrooms are comfortable. Traveled down to London for the weekend to watch Moulin Rouge Really enjoyed the weekend, the hotel was amazing, very impressed, every member of staff was polite and very welcoming Only thing I can fault was a smell in our bathroom when we arrived back from the theatre (smelled like drains) seemed to go away when the shower was run.

The rooms were not great. The first room had an awful damaged bath , and the bathroom was thick with dust . I actually wondered why I was sneezing so much-unfortunately I just had nose surgery and the hotel room was just not up to my expectations . I would like to add more pictures later as my mum has the picture of the bath-you just wouldn’t want to stay in a room like that

The middle plate flicks two very cheap cakes, and the girls' service is very good! Just this man, very disgusting. I said that choosing this home is only close to home. The guy in restaurant is really uneducated and you’re idiot. I take photo for write a comment. The hotel that the Chinese should boycott, the room was given to the top floor, there was no elevator, and the box climbed up the stairs.

I can appreciate that the front of house are quite professional, so probably wouldn’t have reacted badly if I did voice my complaints but I didn’t want to be a hindrance so hopefully this written mode will do. I came in for breakfast and ordered poached eggs with avocado on *sourdough* toast. the emphasis is relevant due to the fact that i got rye instead with the crust very nearly inedible burnt. Luckily there was a generous helping of avocado to mask the taste - though it was unfortunate how much I kept clattering my cutlery because it required such brute force to cut through the toast. The dessert, through no fault of the kitchen or front of house, was not quite to my liking. I wish it was described that the cheesecake filling contained some sort of citrus as that is a flavour in desserts I quite detest. The biscuit was quite flavourful though so I just scraped off the cream cheese and ate that with the strawberry topping. My only regret is not getting the name of the lovely waitress who served me towards the end of my hour working there. It would have been sometime nearing 12:30pm that she was working — tall and gorgeous and European! Wonderful service, sweetest personality.

Is the apartment, washing machine dishwasher microwave oven, home appliances are all, very quiet, in the rich area, neighbors around there look rich! It is 5 minutes away from Commercial Street, Hyde Park and supermarket. Walk to Bond Street, New Bond Street. The one-bedroom, one-living room is quite large, and the living room is very comfortable and can be used for cooking.

The hotel on arrival is more like a downgraded Premier Inn. They have no restaurant or facility on site, and everything like breakfast or other facility is at the Cumberland Hotel next door. They DO have a small gym though which for us is a saving grace. The actual room we had was excellent, a good size for london and I booked a deluxe king. However, the price of over £200 really was not worth it and I could have booked at the Cumberland next door for £20 more - a much better hotel. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, but for the £££ charged I strngly suggest booking elswhere for the same amount. The staff and rooms are great but this will be persistently a problem I think going forward.
