Hotels Near Melaka World Heritage City in Melaka

This hotel is located near Jonker Street, so it’s very convenient to walk to nearby places for food, shopping, and more. I think the location is excellent. However, the one thing that I was really dissatisfied with is that the rooms seem to be designed for families, and they may have slides or play areas for children. I happened to stay on the ground floor, and unfortunately, the family staying in the room above mine had children who didn't sleep at night. When they were playing upstairs, I could clearly hear their footsteps from the ground floor, which disturbed my sleep. They were still playing past 2 in the morning, which was the only thing I wasn't happy about. This hotel is quite new, and in terms of cleanliness, I think it’s still okay for now. However, if I were to consider staying at this hotel again, I would have to think about it. If I’m assigned to the ground floor again, I might not choose to stay here.

The hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.

Newly renovated hotel in little india area. Close walk to Jalan Bunga Raya where there's a path to the river and lots of cafes. Room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple but filling. Service is v friendly. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. Regular guest at this hotel due its excellent location close to the main tourist attractions, eateries and shopping malls. Room is comfortable and quite spacious. My usual grouse is the tiny shower cubicle that leaves splashes of water on the bathroom floor. But overall, a satisfactory stay.

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

The hotel location at Jln Merdeka, Bandar Hilir Melaka. Near at Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan. Parking is free provided by the hotel. No Deposit when you check in the hotel. Staff hotel is friendly and helpful. The room is clean tidy and comfortable. Air-conditioning is cold. Easy to get the food and beverage by walking distance.

Enjoyed the good breakfast here ,especially the coffee machine available to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Hotel room was clean but a bit dirty on the towel . The service team was great and friendly. A bit disappointed was the swimming pool is small and close early .

The hotel is in a convenient location, but parking is quite troublesome. The room is managed separately from the hotel, requiring us to park in an opposite lot, which is about a 10-minute drive to the highest floor. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. The toilet also needed attention, and there was a persistent odor reminiscent of dampness that we couldn't eliminate, even after purchasing a freshener. Additionally, there were stains on the walls and throughout the room. I provided feedback to the management, but it appears my message went unnoticed. On a positive note, the room does offer a great view of the river and the city and the bed is very comfortable.

Clean hotel, simple but beautiful deco. The room is okay, the toilet is clean. Complete with bathroom equipment. Iron and hair dryer provided. Breakfast food is very tasty. The pool is best suited for children's pools, but if you can provide chairs near the pool, it's okay. The staff is okay. Reasonable price. Check-in check-out is easy, you don't have to wait long. Will repeat again later. Overalls are the best 👍
