We just returned from a wonderful 6-night stay at The Ritz Carlton-NoMad. The hotel is a great addition to Nomad. It is centrally located near Madison Square Park, Union Square and the R line subway entrance is steps away from the entrance. The Executive Lounge is amazing! The food from Jose Andres Group was delicious with many options during their all-day service. The view from the windows cannot be beat. Every member of the Executive Lounge staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and luxurious starting with David, the Executive Club Manager and the wonderful staff, Juan, Juan Carlos, Yolanda, Wendy, Brenda, Brendan & Shane. They made our stay very special. We booked the Manhattan Club Level Room on the 37th floor. It was spacious and modern, and the Ritz Carlton bed was very comfortable, as usual. The unobstructed view from our room was stunning with an enormous picture window overlooking the city towards Downtown. We have already made reservations for a return stay in December.

Great location in Midtown, just blocks from the Empire State Building, Macy's, and several dining and breakfast options. Easy walk to subway and even Times Square (20 minutes). Rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. (We were impressed by how much storage space was available in the room.) Amenities are not fancy (small restaurant with limited options, small gym), but it's an excellent starting point for exploring the city. There was some noise bleed from neighboring rooms, but none from outside.

”Hip” and ”boutique” has become a metaphor for dirty and unclean. The ”hotel room” was bare bones, dirty, with previous guests used personal toys left behind end tables. The small kitchen was barely usable - no under cabinet lighting, no dishwasher, small fridge, coffee maker dirty and unclean, same for the broken toaster, no dishwashing soap for even the small amount of utensils and glassware. No effort was made to clean underneath the bed; the bed itself sagged. The room view is into tenement like housing (if I wanted a West Side Story experience, I would go to the theater rather than pay for this cheap ...calling it a hotel is a stretch). The balcony is a joke (at worse a hazard (make sure the balcony door is locked.) The corner space between the top mattress and boxspring was dirty, crumbs, dust, etc - clearly had not been vacuumed or cleaned since the Roosevelt administration. Wi-Fi is subpar. Another effort by a non-corporate hospitality company (or whoever owns this dump) to milk tourists who come to New York by renovating whatever this building used to be into a sub standard ”hotel” rooms and skating by on ”location.”

Amazing hotel in the best area , close to everything . Hotel itself clean , cute cozy. Room is very decent, we see the Empire State from our room , breakfast has hot and cold stuff and to go food if you want for a snack , I loved their coffee. People from reception, breakfast team, housekeeping are decent , helpful and working hard. They hv a cozy cute table downstairs for a drink or the 26th floor which is the top notch to see NY and direct to the Empire State. My only recommendation pls do a deep clean for the carpet in z rooms as we noted stains . I def recommended and will go there again and again

The reception staff at the front desk had a good attitude, enthusiasm and patience... The room was clean and quiet. After a week, it was very safe. All the fears I had expected before were superfluous... 20 US dollars per day security fee~ go to the international Metropolis New York will stay again. Must talk about it. Hotel location, service and hygiene, not to mention, anyway, generally pass. The breakfast was really good, things were basically the same every day, and I was tired for six days. By the way, breakfast is free to eat, no matter your room rate includes breakfast, just go down to the first floor to eat, no one cares, no breakfast coupons. What I want to say this time is that the hotel's checkout will not be refunded if you charge more! It was a very irresponsible and unreasonable hotel. Later, under the coordination of Ctrip, a part was returned, and Ctrip helped me to pay the rest. Thanks for Ctrip's support! The hotel received $ 162.76, but in the end it charged me $ 413.41, more than $ 250! The pre-authorization at check-in was only $ 187.76, and the front desk had no objection to the pre-authorization account at check-out. The remaining part was charged without my knowledge after leaving. What is the difference between stealing and stealing? And they are all received by mistake, and some fees are repeatedly collected. Later, with the help and coordination of Ctrip, the hotel promised to refund some of the fees that were repeatedly charged, and the overcharge of the front desk staff caused by their own mistakes was 125 dollars, and it was not refundable! Great location. But the service standards absolutely disappointed. In room telephone was not working and despite repeated complaints it was not repaired through my stay of 4 nights. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment

I've stayed here three times and I would stay again. This hotel is a solid 4+ stars hotel for a variety of reasons. First, yes, the rooms are small, but so are most NYC hotel rooms in this price point for a full service hotel. You want bigger rooms, you will pay more or get a lessor hotel. What I have found is that the rooms facing Fifth (although noisier) are a bit bigger and nicer. For the smaller rooms at the hotel, I honestly do not know why they did not make those queen beds vs kings (the kings are just too big). Anyone complaining about closet space... see my comment above about room size. Second, the staff here is absolutely amazing. Too many hotels have lost that touch. Love the staff. Third, the location is perfect for me: three blocks to my office, close to everything in mid-town and easy to get downtown and back via park, fifth or madison. I really do not like staying in the heart of mid-town/times square so this is a great compromise. Fourth, the Gym is actually pretty good. Yes, if you go to The Edition down the street they have an amazing Gym, but you are also paying $700 a night. Fifth, the restaurant is OK. I think they need to work out some kinks. There are challenges with the staff fully understanding how American's order things: like a Martini on the rocks came in a martini glass with ice vs a rocks glass or breakfast with a side of sausage came with sliced pepperoni. Also, the TV in the bar does not really work: no live sports bec they are not connected to any actually live programming -- odd. They use Roku, but don't seem to understand you need to add in an app like Fubo or Sling. In the end, I've been there three times and some things could be better, but all things considered NO WAY this is a 3 start hotel and def a solid 4 star in a great location with excellent staff. Plus... it's NEW!

Excellent staff, very helpful the entire stay (reception, facilities service, house keeping, with a special shout-out to Khaoula). Perfect location, in a great neighborhood, with easy subway excess and great food options all around. Great rooms, we had the quietest stay with best sleep here in NY (compared to 5 other hotels during our trip). After checkout, the staff continued to be just perfect hosts, storing luggage until the end of the day and allowing us to freshen up, have a coffee and wait for our taxi (arranged by hotel). Thank you.

It is a pleasant journey to stay in a Midtown Manhattan apartment in New York. It is suitable for travelers with a basic language knowledge. The rooms are not big but they have everything, and they are warm. The landlord is very nice, the surrounding is easy to come and go, it happens to be near Koreatown, it is suitable for Asian food, it is convenient to go to the surrounding attractions, close to the subway station, there is a supermarket across the street where you can buy a lot of food for breakfast, the hotel has no front desk Before you travel, you need to pay attention to the mail from the landlord. Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out is 11 am, but luggage can be stored until about 5 pm. If you exceed this time, you can pick up your luggage from the front desk security. But you need to pay the security tip for each piece of luggage. All in all it was a good experience. If a friend goes to New York, he will recommend it to stay.

Superb, there is Manhattan's best coffee shop downstairs. The hotel lobby is full of people from morning to night, very popular hotel. The clerk is very fashionable. The room is not recommended to choose mini, slightly smaller. Small above is very ok. Toiletries are also very good. There is also a favorite le labo next door. Just between the 5th and 6th Avenues, the location is excellent. Outside the window can also face the Empire State Building. Baton!
