Hotels Near Karekihachimangu in Osaka

I couldn't go home easily due to the corona disaster, so it was the first time in less than a year. I made a reservation for 2 nights early, but when the typhoon approached. When I told him that I didn't know when I would be on my way home, he was able to change to pay one night. As of the morning of the second day, the airport was ”no impact”. I went out after paying for the second night, but after noon it became ”affected” and changed the schedule in a hurry. When I checked if I could cancel without knowing that it was impossible, I was able to cancel despite the day because the luggage was packed and it was before the check-in time. On the same day, I was able to return safely before the typhoon came out. Thank you very much.

The environment is clean, tidy and comfortable

Good hotel. The equipment and supplies are quite fully equipped. Near n*** next to Sakai station (Nankai Line), convenient for traveling by train. If traveling by car, parking fee is 1500 yen. N*** shopping centers, restaurants,... sea views. You can enjoy wonderful sea views or city views both day and night. Had a great experience.

Amenities wise, I feel that this hotel offered a great bargain. The shower area and toilets are clean and well-equipped, and the rooms very simple yet cosy. However, as a female solo traveller, the hotel’s good facilities and price were not enough to keep me there for more than a night because of its location. While yes, it is a walking distance to the train station, it requires one to walk down very quiet, almost empty and dimly lit alleys. Found out later that the hotel is located in a low-income, red district, hence explaining the people I saw loitering around. Hence, while the hotel is decent and the area filled with cheap food, I would caution solo travellers (particularly females) to think twice.

My first stay during my first trip to Japan. It was Spring 2018. I was excited because my little room was a tatami floored room. The small room was a basic room for two guests. There was only one plug point to charge our many electrical gadgets, so oh boy im glad i brought along a plug socket with 4-5 outlets. The room was too small for even the two small Asians like us. we have no place to put our backpacks (there were only two bags but) once we spread the futons. This small room actually suitable for a single guest. The bathrooms and toilets are normally clean for Japanese standards. You have to pay separate charge for your towels. Our room situated on the 4 or 5th floor i cant remember but there was only one floor for lady's bathroom - the hostel got about 40 to 50 rooms but there are only 2-3 bathrooms for ladies to share. I woke up very early to take bath but was very disappointing to see the long queue of Japanese female workers who unable to go home and slept here for the night. Imagine the long hours i have to wait to get my turn. sometimes i tried to go to another level to try the unisex bathrooms but they were definitely full with guys. The pantry on the ground floor offered hot water with 3-in-1 drinks. there are vending machines for you to buy mineral water or soda or sweet drinks. The walls between the room are super thin and you can hear everything loud and clear. The door is made of steel so when someone close it with a bang it can be very annoying. Well we were kind of grateful (feeling console?) that the room got a mini fridge. And that the hostel is near to the train station. I'm coming back to Osaka soon but nope, I'm not going to coming back to this hostel just to get myself headaches for the bathrooms. The friend who booked this hostel for us thought we wanted the cheapest room in Osaka and she never asked us about the quality of the service. Well this is the negative side of coming to Japan in Spring i guess. Everything comes in expensive price.

High CP value for the good location and low price. Has everything I needed.. from the convenience stores. Able to purchase amenities from the counter as well. Friendly counter service. Women storey and men storey differ a lot in terms of quality and availability of services. Sauna from the hotel is only catered to the men. Women storey has doors with wide opening at the top, thus smoke smells travel easily. The bed curtain helps to reduce smell but the wrong and hallways always reek of cigarette despite being a non-smoking building 🤦🏻♀️ I do hope the management enforces this policy strictly.

改装されたそうで、フロントもロビーも、部屋もキレイです。 ＪＲ新今宮駅を出てすぐだし、ほんとに泊まるだけなら安いです。 ただ、理解しておかなければならないのは、トイレ、お風呂は部屋にはありません。トイレは階に１か所の共同トイレ（男女別）です。お風呂は大浴場か、シャワールームの利用になります。私が利用した部屋は３畳の畳部屋。布団が一式。 土曜日でもう開いているところがなくて利用しましたが、泊まるところがなければ利用も全然ＯＫだと思います。とにかく料金が安いので、その辺は了解できます。土曜日でも３８００円でしたから。 プライベートはしっかり守られますので、カプセルホテルより断然いいです。バックパッカーとかにはおすすめです。 なので、若い学生さんや、工事関係の連泊、外国人さんなどが多いようです。 ただ、よくわかりませんが、ロビーやシャワールームって、宿泊者以外の人も利用している感じがするのは私だけなのかな？

The room was large and clean and the amenities were substantial. I thought it would be nice if there was a microwave oven. It's very grateful to be able to stay at this price. I would like to use it again.

This was my second time staying here. I had a comfortable stay, just like last time. The room was more than spacious, the facilities and amenities were impeccable, it was reasonably priced, and more comfortable than other business hotels in the area. Thank you very much.

I really like the service attitude and service staff of this hotel. All the staff can speak Chinese, which is very warm and convenient, giving people a feeling of being at home. It has been raining all the time in the rainy season these days. I troubled Emma and Yuna to help call a taxi and heat up the meal. They cared about whether I was wet. I was really moved to tears! ! ! Because I had no appetite, a lady named Yuki recommended delicious Chinese food and Chinese supermarkets nearby. It was great to buy some domestic emergency supplies! The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is very close to Shinsaibashi. If you like to drink milk tea and eat barbecue, living here is simply too happy! My boyfriend and I are a bit of a clean freak. Overall, the cleaning and facilities of the room are quite clean! This is too important! ! I will continue to choose this store in Higashi Shinsaibashi when I come to Osaka in the future. ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و
