Ibis Hotels in Paris

A simple & cozy hotel by the banks of canal st. Martin. I stayed here as it was walking distance from saint louis hospital where i had some work. The place was very clean with most basic facilities only. I suggest that you don't opt for breakfast at the hotel. They only serve preserved & heated boxed food. This will help for an urgent need but don't come assuming there's a breakfast spread. Instead you could just walk around & fetch yourself some croissants & pain au chocolat. There are two supermarkets (franprix & monopris) in very close proximity where you can pick up your water, packed food & any other daily requirement. The front office staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall this place gave me the most perfect experience for my budget & requirement.

The subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a bus stop right outside, making transportation very convenient. A special thanks to the elderly gentleman at the front desk who helped me with directions. I'm deducting a few points because there's a charge for luggage storage, and the breakfast was pretty much the same every day.

Everything was perfect, clean hotel, rooms cleaned daily, location excellent since there is metro line 4 in minute from hotel, with good connection throughout the city. And what a breakfast, original, fresh, good choice and homemade. Staff very friendly and helpful. I didnt feel unsafe at night at the area, its always busy and lot of people around. I would definitely go back and i will recommend this hotel to my friend and family.

The hotel's location is excellent, making transportation and dining very convenient. The facilities are somewhere between a budget and a comfortable hotel. Both the standard rooms and the public hallways are quite small. The cleanliness appears acceptable at first glance, but I occasionally noticed tiny bugs on the tables. I hope the hotel can regularly disinfect and clean the indoor environment. The staff members generally have a good service attitude. On a side note, the hotel offers rooms of various sizes and orientations. I especially recommend the larger rooms on the top floor, which have two balconies and face the street, offering expansive views.

Breakfast: Standard continental, with a spacious dining area. However, the French chain burger joint right outside is absolutely delicious, with a Caribbean flair. Room: The double room felt cramped, which is understandable given it's only 13 square meters, similar to some student accommodations in the UK. I wouldn't recommend it. Cleanliness: The lobby is large and quite good. However, there were small bloodstains on the sheets, which looked like they had been washed many times. The bathroom is tiny, as the bathtub takes up a lot of space. It feels like an old building that's been converted, similar to the 'laopoxiao' (old, dilapidated, and small) apartments you find in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. You could probably find a better option for the same price. But then again, it is a chain hotel. Location: It's fairly convenient, within 30 minutes of major attractions. However, the entrance isn't very conspicuous, and you have to climb a steep hill to get there. There's a nice park near a subway station behind the hotel.

The location is great, and the receptionist is easy to communicate with. It's convenient to go anywhere, and the cleanliness is acceptable, although the overall area is a bit old. There are many restaurants downstairs, including a delicious breakfast place run by Chinese people.

While the expectation was always that the room will be small, it is indeed very small even for 2 people in case you're carrying more than 2 suitcases. Not enough room to unpack. Also the food menu doesn't have anything apart from pizzas, which was a bummer. Cleanliness is maintained, on time check in is respected and a very helpful set of staff.

Facilities: A bit basic. There's no free luggage storage; instead, they have self-service lockers that cost 2 Euros for 12 hours. We dropped our bags off after landing around 6 AM, and by the time we returned at 9 PM, we were overdue and had to pay another 2 Euros. Before even checking in, we'd already spent 8 Euros for two pieces of luggage. Cleanliness: The hygiene was decent, quite clean. However, the room was completely bare—no kettle, tissues, slippers, or even a trash can. Only the toilet had a bin and toilet paper. Service: The service was alright, and the staff were friendly. You can get drinking water in the lobby on the ground floor. Room: Very small. Two suitcases pretty much filled the entire room, even smaller than rooms I've stayed in Tokyo. Location: Convenient for transport. Both Metro Line 7 and Gare du Nord are within walking distance. It's a direct route to the airport and Versailles. Coming back to the hotel at 11 PM felt relatively safe; for Paris, it's about average—not super chaotic. There were a few homeless people, but it's generally fine if you're with a group. The nearby restaurants are just so-so.

The location is great, really convenient for T3 as you can take the free CDGVAL shuttle directly there. I booked online and check-in was super quick. Breakfast was typical — bread, fruit, eggs — it was decent and got the job done. The environment is nice, and the lobby/service area is right on the ground floor, which is a good spot to relax.

The surrounding is very quiet, the service is also very good, the room with balcony is very ventilated, the room is very clean, and it is very safe. There is no possibility of theft. Because France is a bit unsafe, this hotel is completely reliable
