Amazing
GGuest UserReception 24/7 was helpful and looked after my luggage when I was out. Room was big enough for one traveller, might be a squeeze for two. However, the metro being so close to the hotel was highly convenient and didn’t take long to get to places. Close to most spots. Only issue I personally had was that the sheets weren’t changed upon housekeeping, and wasn’t exactly spotless. But for the location and price, I would come back again. The windows were particularly my favourite (be aware of noise e.g ambulances) and the bathroom was great and spacious.
WWeinisenlinLocation: 10 minutes from Gare de Lyon, Paris, convenient for both metro and train.
Facilities: Very old and typically European. The space is small but clean. Be aware that you'll need to carry your luggage up half a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator.
Service: Simple and without issues.
Surroundings: French restaurants everywhere (most likely requiring reservations), and two Carrefour supermarkets.
Good option for off-season travel to Paris, high value for money.
AAnonymous UserThe room is small but comfortable. There are no teaspoons in the room, although there is a coffee machine and kettle. There is no complimentary water, only the minibar is available for an extra fee. It's not a big deal, as there is a supermarket nearby. The welcome gift was cookies and candy, thank you. The bed is comfortable, there is an extra blanket, and if it's cold, the air conditioning works as a warming blanket. The Arc de Triomphe is a 10-minute walk away, and the metro is 5 minutes away. It's safe in the evenings, with many cafes in the area staying open late. A deposit is required upon check-in. The breakfasts are good. The rooms are soundproofed, but if neighbors are chatting/checking in/slamming doors in the hallway, it's very audible.

Very Good
GGuest UserI set the balcony room double room clean location is good but no sound, the room is very close between the rooms, when cleaning the room, the equipment in the room is not prepared, the feeling is very bad, when using this for a while, there is no shower gel in the bathroom. The double room has a towel, a bottle of water, and 2 paper towels are gone. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes and does not buy them (at least provide customers with choices)
AAnonymous UserThe room size is ok but the bathroom is very small
You can walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower
The location is very good. The service attitude of the counter staff is also very good.

Very Good
Ll3unnyIt was a small and decent room, but it’s Paris…the shower box is quite small. I elbowed the glass a couple of times while i showered so I’d imagine that bigger built people might not like how compact it is. I felt like the soundproofing is close to non-existent, I could hear people walking around, watching tv, and even their alarms so I couldn’t sleep very well. I also hated having to carry and drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Nonetheless, the location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant. It’s only a couple of minutes from the station and around 20min walk to see Eiffel Tower. I think I’ll still stay at Splendid Hotel next time I visit Paris, but will definitely try to book earlier so I get a room with the Eiffel Tower view.
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would gladly recommend it to both leisure and business travelers. From the moment I arrived, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and well organized. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with staff members who were professional, friendly, and eager to help with any questions.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I appreciated the attention to detail, from fresh linens and quality toiletries to the ample storage space and well-lit work area. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay.
The hotel’s amenities added a lot of value to the experience. The common areas were well maintained, and the facilities were easy to access. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options that catered to different preferences. Everything was replenished promptly, and the dining area remained clean and comfortable even during busy hours.
Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient. It’s close to key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it easy to get around without hassle. Despite the central location, the hotel felt calm and quiet, which was a pleasant surprise.
Overall, this hotel delivers a great balance of comfort, service, and value. The staff’s hospitality, combined with the clean rooms and convenient location, made the stay truly enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would confidently recommend it to others looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a good option if you are on a relatively restricted budget. It is well located, near restaurants, supermarket and is well connected to train/metro/bus. We struggled to find the entrance of the hotel, though. A narrow pathway leads to a small lift to what seemed to be the back of the hotel. My friend and I walked all around the block only to realise that that narrow path was actually the main entrance for pedestrians.. lol
Our room was near one of the lift areas and we could hear it all night long, as the lift doos were quite noisy ~ defo requiring some oil 😬
Breakfast was good with a variety of food, deli, pastries and fruit, however the dishes did not seem very clean unfortunately.
Overall it was a good experience and Paris is enchanting, worthy of the not-so-well-rested-nights.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location. The room is extremely small, but the cleanliness is acceptable. However, the facilities are basic, and you can hear any noise from outside. The shower door was broken; I informed the front desk staff, and they knew, but I let it go since I was only staying one night. The telephone and TV in the room were just for show, as they didn't have electricity. The room's Wi-Fi was very poor, frequently disconnecting.

Last minute accommodation for three ladies needing somewhere to sleep and shower when “not”! Exploring the city. 3 single beds, Great bathroom (although a shower curtain could be added for protection of water slashing on walls and floor) Window allows fresh air and light opening out to the view of the street feel of being in Paris.
Only 3min walk to Arc de Triomphe, large brand shopping area 2 major stations and transport. Many cafes and restaurants however shops open later in the day.
All staff were pleasant and helpful.
A small bar fridge would be a nice touch to the rooms and maybe a microwave would be a bonus!
