Great
GGuest UserQuite good location. A bit aged deco. Toilet is ok. Very basic without much amenities. Breakfast is quite basic. And hot food seems to be frozen cooked food, like it’s chicken wings. Eggs are ok. Croissant bad for France standard. Coffee tea ok. Service not bad in restaurant but average at check in and out.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is charming and located in a less touristy part of town which we really liked, close to local restaurants and bars. Oberkampf metro is only a few minutes away (via the passage) which was very handy. In particular the over night male staff member at reception was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good. The only thing we didn’t like was that we paid extra for a room with “spa access” but the spa was always booked out except for inconvenient times like lunch or 8pm. Booking weeks or days ahead is not always practical. Perhaps the spa should be on a pay per use basis instead.
GGuest UserI had many difficulties on my birthday trip to Paris, but this hotel was not one of them.
This hotel is stylish and very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly, speak good English, and are eager to help with anything they can during your stay. The hotel was very communicative and helpful prior to my stay as well. My room was very spacious, but this may be because I was in an accessible room, so I cannot speak for how the regular rooms are.
Although the location may seem a little out the way, it is very well connected by public transport, and surrounded by some excellent cafes and restaurants. I once walked back from the louvre, and it took around 35 minutes.
Breakfast was varied, and while not massive, had plenty of choice for everyone.
If I'm ever in Paris again, I will stay here. If anyone i know plans a trip to Paris, I will HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. My family and I loved it; we booked two rooms for two nights. However, the reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. We discovered that the rooms were on the top floor and were always cold because the air conditioning was inadequate. There was also a persistent unpleasant odor in the hallways. What bothered me most was the lack of water in the rooms, except for the minibar, which contained two bottles. After using them, the attendant asked us to pay for them. When checking out, they asked me how many bottles of water I had used. I said two because I realized I had to pay 5 euros for a small bottle, which is exorbitant. After paying and checking out, the receptionist announced that they had discovered I had used three bottles, not two, as if I had stolen a bottle of water. I booked two rooms with three beds each; we were a family, and one of my children might have used the hotel water without me noticing. I paid a considerable sum for the hotel, and the bottle of water was a small price to pay.

JJoeycxtOur room balcony has a half tower view which was really really beautiful especially at night! Nice view, high level & cosy environment. Would love to stay here again the next time I visit!

Ll3unnyIt was a small and decent room, but it’s Paris…the shower box is quite small. I elbowed the glass a couple of times while i showered so I’d imagine that bigger built people might not like how compact it is. I felt like the soundproofing is close to non-existent, I could hear people walking around, watching tv, and even their alarms so I couldn’t sleep very well. I also hated having to carry and drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Nonetheless, the location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant. It’s only a couple of minutes from the station and around 20min walk to see Eiffel Tower. I think I’ll still stay at Splendid Hotel next time I visit Paris, but will definitely try to book earlier so I get a room with the Eiffel Tower view.
GGuest UserI chose it at the location and Cospa.
The front desk is small, but there is always a staff member, they can store your luggage and greet you every time you go in and out.
This price is appreciated in this location, so I complain about the facilities
No. The elevator was very narrow and it was almost difficult for a stroller and an adult to ride together. Also, the passage is narrow and dark. The room is not large, but it has everything you need for a double bed, and it is convincing to think that the room is spacious even if the elevator and passage are narrowed.
Overall, this hotel is recommended and you may choose here when you come to travel again.
LLucyLasticBEnjoyable and fun stay for partner's birthday. Used the private hamam and that was lovely. Rooms are VERY small but cute. Location is fairly convenient but parking was a struggle. Much better if you're using public transport.
MM17400****Stayed for a night near the Eiffel Tower on a business trip. The room was small but clean, and the location was easy to find. I could even see the Eiffel Tower lights from my room at night. There were plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby, so finding food wasn't an issue. The front desk staff were also quite friendly, making check-in and check-out simple and convenient. Overall, it's great value for money and definitely recommended!
FFloramengmengHygiene: It was alright, the bathroom was very small but had everything you needed, so it was clean.
Facilities: It was so small you could barely turn around, and a suitcase could only just about open fully.
Service: You had to leave your key at the front desk when you went out, and the elevator would be full with just one person and two suitcases.
The location was actually quite good. There's a supermarket right outside to the left, and a nice breakfast cafe a bit further down. The area also felt very safe.
