Family-friendly Hotels in Prague

Stayed here for three nights in March, 2023. Truth-in-advertising ... we are big fans of Accor properties and stay with them whenever possible. That said, we hold them to a higher expectation. And the Old Town MGallery definitely held up to our expectations. Prior to the trip, they were very responsive to our inquiries for assistance with planning. Our room was, by European standards, quite large and the bed have a very nice sleep (something important to us as I have a bad back that can be sensitive to bad beds. The only downside I would say to our room was that there was minimal deskspace if you are there on business or need to do some work on your laptop. Additionally, while there were power outlets, there weren't a lot which made things a challenge when trying to power up various electronics. MINOR issues that were easily overlooked given the overall experience. Our lack of Czech language skills were not an issue in that all of the staff we interacted with spoke excellent English. Their bar had an excellent array of drinks and cocktails for a nightcap and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Add to this the beautiful Art Deco decor and the phenomenal location to everything in the Old Town and it is a great place to stay while in Prague.

The location is good, self-service choices in the morning are also available, the facilities are not much different from the four-star hotels, the sanitation is better than the four-star hotels, and the hotel's restaurants are less open to the public than some other hotels. However, the price booked by Ctrip is much more expensive than that booked directly at the hotel. Fortunately, when I booked, I wanted to see how the location was. I only booked for one day and asked about the price. The remaining days are directly renewed at the hotel. Not only does it include a buffet breakfast, but it is also cheap. several hundred.

This hotel is in the historic town centre near Wenceslas Square and Mustek Metro Station which connects to all places in Prague. Although centrally situated and within walking distance to tram, bars, restaurants and shops, it is an extremely quiet hotel. The welcome we had was so warm and welcoming, different to other hotels I have stayed in, there is water and sweets in the area and a lovely Gentleman at the door who gave us a warm welcome not just the first day but always had a friendly smile for us every day and the reception staff are very helpful, especially the young lady who helped us to get to the airport. We stayed on the second floor number 123 which had a huge bed, beautiful linen and plush pillows with cushions too, it was decorated lovely and had a fridge, air con and coffee machine. The bathroom was big and plenty of hot water and shampoo, shower gel, etc. which was replaced throughout our stay. The whole of the hotel is spotless clean, well so is Prague. The breakfast, well nobody could complain about it as it had something for even the fussiest of eaters. There was fruit juices, water, coffee, an assortment of teas, detox drink, cereals, fruit, cakes, different kinds of bread and rolls, cooked assortment and cold assortment with the most gorgeous cheese I have ever tasted. Croissants, small and large with chocolate and jams and lots of different fresh fruit, tinned fruit, yoghurts and a lovely pot with different layers of chocolate, fruit and yoghurt. Amazing breakfast, my niece is going to Prague and I have told her to stay at this hotel as it just hits all spots for me.

This just few steps from the whole attractions of the beautiful Prague old city, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, everything is within a minute or two walking distance, undisputable location. Rooms are specious and comfy, bathrooms are also wide and big, AC works properly.. Rest of hotel services are typical excellent standard of Marriott. Breakfast is rich with plenty of varieties, however, there are NO big dinning options at the hotel despite of its big size, yet this is not a big deal cause the moment you step out of the hotel front door, nice restaurants are loaded everywhere. Bit expensive but will book it again if in Prague.

The hotel is in a great location, close to Charles Bridge, and convenient for travel. We booked 3 nights, and on the first day we booked 2 different rooms, both with air conditioning. On the second day we needed to change rooms, and we were moved to the first floor without air conditioning, but the same room type we stayed in the day before had air conditioning. After communicating with the front desk, the manager decisively upgraded us to a suite for free, and also moved 2 pieces of luggage, each weighing 20kg, to the 3rd floor.

What an unpleasant experience! I stayed at the Hilton before but these two nights were extraordinary unpleasant and not at all according to Hilton 5* standard. it absolutely did not fit to the high price of the rooms. 1.) The Hilton has at the moment a beer garden. If your room is facing this beer garden, forget any chance to sleep. the beer garden is open weekdays till midnight and the party music will make it impossible to sleep! Well done, Hilton management. 2.) In our booked DELUXE room (at higher costs) not a single TV channel worked. And slippers to go to the pool area were also not there. They told us that we have to ask for slippers. Sadly, they forget to tell us this. All in all, a horrible two night experience: party music till midnight, not a single TV channel working and walking barefoot through the hotel on the way to the spa. Sorry, never again! choose another place with better service (and it will be cheaper in top)!

The location is the civic center. It is near the powder tower, so there are always a lot of people and it is safe. As expected from a 5-star hotel, the staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean. The hair dryer is good and the amenities are good. There are also slippers. One bottle of water is free. The breakfast is also delicious.

Our stay at the Comfort Hotel was great. The check-in and check-out procedures were fast and smooth. The staff was polite and ready to help. There was a small problem with the smell in our room and they immediately changed it, without any extra charge. After the check-out, we could leave the luggage in a dedicated space, so we could enjoy the city a little bit before heading to the airport. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to a metro station on the green line (to the city centre) and a tram station right in front of the hotel. In 20 minutes, you can reach the old town of Prague by public transportation. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at the hotel. Maybe just an adjustment on the breakfast menu. The breakfast was tasty, with a variety of options, but the dishes could be changed every few days.

The room was not large, but the ceiling was high so it wasn't cramped. The bathtub is also spacious and good. It was nice that it was easy to get to the center. It's a little far from the central station, and the cobblestone pavement makes it quite difficult with large suitcases, so I recommend taking a taxi. The breakfast was very delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. The people at the hotel were very nice and it was a good stay. thank you very much.

We stayed here for a week starting on our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We arranged for the hotel car to collect us from the airport and were met by a very friendly driver who chatted to us in very good English all the way to the hotel. We mentioned that it was our anniversary and he told the very welcoming man at reception. We thought nothing of it but on returning to our room the next afternoon we found champagne and a lovely note of congratulations waiting for us! The hotel is beautiful, especially the ballroom, and all public spaces are clean and comfortable. Our room was a reasonable size with all amenities, very clean with the most comfortable bed that I've ever slept in! The restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was superb. It is situated in the perfect location for all the sights of Prague. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see but did buy a day ticket for the trams (available from reception) and had fun riding Tram 22 around the city and also used the ticket on the funicular railway to the top of Petrin Hill. This hotel looks and feels like a 'posh' hotel but the staff are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable that you can really relax and enjoy your stay.
