Hotels Near ACTION in Seoul

In the middle of Hongdae‘s nightlife, you are close to the action. Can be a bit loud on weekends, and I recommend getting rooms further from the bathroom to sleep in peace. Very close to a lot of cool vintage shops, small restaurants, bars and awesome cafés. Staff was nice and spoke English!

This lovely establishment offers the convenience of an airport limousine bus service right at its doorstep, with Mapo Subway station just a short stroll away. Multiple direct bus routes to Seoul Station and Myeongdong are easily accessible. The cozy room size is perfect for couples, and the English-speaking receptionists are readily available to assist guests with valuable information. All in all, it's a highly recommended hotel.

I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and chose this hotel based on the proximity to Seoul Station. From Incheon, the train journey is about one hour to Seoul Station. Fortunately, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from Exit 12. There is a slight hill, but it’s moderate and not overwhelming. The staff were super pleasant and offered to take my luggage up. I declined since I only had a carry-on, but note there is no elevator in this hotel. Don’t expect opulent space. The rooms are compact, but comfortable. As is typical in Seoul, the bathroom includes the sink, shower and toilet - there’s no separation of the shower. I slept comfortably and the streets are quiet during the night. I only paid $40 for the night so it’s certainly easy on the wallet. As far as location, it’s a walker’s dream. Seoul Station connects to high-speed rail as well as metro lines. Myeongdong is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries around including those at Seoul Station. If you’re a budget traveler or low maintenance, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel was in a very convenient location. The room was basic as expected but had more amenities than initially thought. Bathroom was bigger in my room than in the pictures shown (in a double room). The room has slides for the toilet, slippers for the room, a fridge with some bottled water, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and a bag with toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

Location is good, near to metro. Room and bed is very comfortable. Cleanliness is great. However, some front desk staff are friendly some aren’t. One male staff who wearing spectacles (who can speaks mandarin) isn’t helpful at all. I had a hard time conversing with him in English. He spoke very little English and we were speaking on different wave length throughout the whole conversation. When I thought of switching languages and ask if he could speaks mandarin, he said no. Half and hour later, I saw him speaking mandarin to a Chinese guest fluently. What a joke?! For luggages, only before check in they will keep for you. After check out, you need to look for lockers and pay for storage.

Everything was great except that the room really is very small. Locations is not bad, as have convenience store downstairs with alot of buses to main attractions. Aircon will automatically turn off, there is no air circulation and is stuffy. Have reported to the hotel but they say they are unable to do anything as it is central control, there is a sensor to turn off the Aircon when the room temperature is met. Requested to check and get back on the solution as we are staying 4 nights but until we check out no one has contacted us.

The environment of the hotel is probably good, and the environment of the hotel rooms is good. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and sometimes a little water flows out during the shower. The room space is large, and it is no problem to open a 75L. There are 2 sofa chairs to sit on. The hotel is surrounded by more tree space. It's just that Guangming is relatively remote, and can be reached by KTX, airport bus, and subway. The pace of life throughout the day is slow, and it feels a bit like retirement life. If you are tired of playing in Seoul, you can experience retirement life in Li Guangming. Please be careful when taking the Line 1 subway, as the subway schedules vary. Not all subway trains arrive at Guangming Station. The surrounding stores close around 2130, so only convenience stores are open at night. There is a large department store nearby, Lotte Mall, which you can visit. Please pay attention to the store's business hours. The hotel is well located, just a minute walk to 2 subway station and also the airport bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is just opened which make all the furnitures are all brand new. The concept is similar like japanese hotel which all basic necessities are well taken care. No need to worried about food as there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, 24 hours mart n also groceries stores nearby.
