Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Location: Incredibly convenient. It's right next to a wholesale market selling men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as shoes. Across the street, there's a bustling food street, making it super easy to find any kind of food you're craving. I particularly recommend a fantastic BBQ restaurant there that even serves live octopus 🐙, along with delicious fried chicken and beer. Service: Great.

I stayed here during my trip to Seoul. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but I found the subway station a bit farther than expected, which made it difficult to walk with a suitcase. I usually had to take a bus to the station first or use Uber instead. In terms of cleanliness, the room was generally good, though I noticed some stains on the walls, and when I put something under the bed, it picked up a sticky residue. It would have been more convenient if toothbrushes were included in the amenities. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and I would be happy to come back again on another visit. ☺︎

The location is superb convenience where the metro station exit is just right infront of the hotel. It is also a bus stop where the airport limousine bus hop on and off in front of the hotel.. 7 eleven and e mart is just within 20m to 100m walking distance.. hotels offer locker for luggage storage less than 24 hours which is a great added point to me. In the room, they even provide body lotion sachet in the bathroom. TV is accessible to YouTube channel. Just one down thing, the pillow is way too soft. Other than this, others are superb.

Very good room quality and the hotel staff is very helpful! Also, the hotel is very close to the metro station and many tourist attractions. The airport bus takes you directly to the hotel as well making it very easy to get there when landing (make sure u have cash for the bus ticket). Over all a very pleasant stay at summit hotel!

Overall good experience. The staff were friendly and polite and will help if you ask. The location isn't too bad, if you want to go late night shopping at Dongdaemun, then you will have to walk around 15 mins. An alright walk when the temperature is in the 20s but unbearable in the summer heat. Room wise, the beds are comfortable and the room is clean but small. There were a few mosquitos and flies in the bathroom that I assume came up from the drain because we did not leave the door open or open the window. I like how the lift and room door uses a key pad to enter instead of a card, so as long as you have a picture or memorise the password you will be fine :)

I had a wonderful stay at ION Hotel Dongdaemun! The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and conveniently located, but what truly made my experience exceptional was the staff—especially one incredibly kind team member who went above and beyond for me. On the day of my departure, it was raining heavily, and I had two large suitcases. Without hesitation, a staff member stepped outside in the rain to help me load my luggage into the Uber. He didn’t have to do that—it was above and beyond his duty, but he did it with such kindness and care. That small act of generosity truly touched me and left a lasting impression. The service throughout my stay was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and I felt safe and welcomed as a solo traveler. Location is good but the hotel room design is not very satisfying. There is no curtain or door to separate the shower area. So after shower the basin area is all wet. And the toilet electricity is auto cut off. So is even more difficult for the toilet to dry up. And the bed frame corner likely need to cover as is too sharp. Imagine midnight wake up for toilet the room is dark, easily will hit on the corner of the bedframe. Attached some pictures for views

It is a basic hotel with simple amenities. Bottled water provided, but no disposables. The rooms are quite old but OK to stay. Location wise, it is convenient as the airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel, so there is no hassle with the luggage. Walking distance to 2 subways stations and dongdaemun shopping district.

I booked this place for a very last-minute, spontaneous trip. While it might be a bit of a challenge with only stairs, the room itself was clean and comfortable! Amenities like towels, body soap, and shampoo were also provided, and the shower pressure was good too. If two people are staying and have a lot of luggage, it might feel a bit cramped. Some floors even had instant ramen machines, as well as washing machines and dryers, which was a huge plus! The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind and spoke Japanese, and even the cleaning lady greeted me with a lovely smile. I would definitely love to stay here again!
