The location is great, within walking distance to Bukchon Village and Myeongdong, which is super convenient. Upon check-in, I received a free facial mask. I stayed for a total of 4 nights, and on the third day, I requested housekeeping. However, they only replenished one bottle of water and changed the trash bag. The bathroom wasn't cleaned, and the hair wasn't removed, which led to poor drainage later on. It would be better if they provided bottled water based on the number of nights stayed. I was on the first floor, so I didn't have any issues with luggage. After going up one flight of stairs to the second floor, there's a kitchen with simple cookies and tea bags available. The single room was spacious enough to open a 27-inch suitcase with room to spare, and it also had a mini-fridge. For 1600 NTD per night for one person, it's considered good value for money.

Pleasant stay. The room was clean, spacious, and felt fresh. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. The luggage storage was organized very convenient. An additional shared kitchen was another nice bonus. I’d definitely stay here again.

A little small like other people mentioned, but it was very clean and self check-in was very easy to navigate. I accidentally locked myself out of my room and the staff was very quick to help. It's in a good location, but can be hard to find, make sure to look up for the name plate.
The free washing machine was also very helpful, didn't have to worry about dirty clothes.

Guest UserPros:
It was my first time staying in a basement room, so I was a bit flustered, but it was just missing a window. The air was fresh, and it wasn't humid or dry, so the condition was really good.
The room was very spacious.
The floor heating worked well, and I preferred that it wasn't a carpeted floor.
The bathroom was also very large, and the pajamas were warm and comfortable.
The reception staff were incredibly friendly.
It was great to be able to take as much water as I wanted from the first floor.
There's an ice machine and a coffee machine on the first floor, which is nice. (Though it felt a bit awkward and embarrassing because the staff would stand up and greet me every time I passed the desk, haha.)
Although I didn't use it, breakfast is free.
I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, so it seems soundproofed.
You can store your luggage before and after check-in.
There's a CU convenience store nearby, and many street food stalls and restaurants, which is convenient.
It was convenient that delivery drivers could come right to the room door.
The location is good, close to the bustling area and bus stops.
There's a good speaker.
There's a very large TV with loud volume.
Cons:
The bed was too soft and didn't offer enough support, which caused back pain.
(Instead, the floor was spacious and clean, so I slept on the floor.)
There were two pillows; one was too high, and the other was a memory foam pillow that felt hard.
The hard memory foam pillow didn't pair well with the soft bed, which made my back and neck hurt even more.
Perhaps because it's a basement room, I heard the sound of water flowing from the ceiling wall all night.
Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would consider returning.

숩랑단As this is a newly opened establishment, I was a bit apprehensive due to the lack of reviews, but overall it was clean and perfectly satisfactory for just sleeping there.
However, there were a few things that bothered me.
I booked a lower bunk bed, but the locker was located above the upper bunk. At 155cm (about 5'1”), it was quite difficult to hang clothes on the hanger, so I mostly ended up using it as a place to store my luggage. If you plan to use the locker frequently or are on the shorter side, I recommend keeping this in mind when choosing your bed. Next time, I think I'll book an upper bunk.
Check-in is done at a kiosk, but the passport age verification took a little while. Also, I wasn't sure when my room number was displayed, which was a bit confusing. However, if you go back to the initial screen and select your language, there's an option to 'confirm room number,' where you can find it.
Amenities were provided inside the locker on the first day, including a toothbrush set, cleansing wipes, a shower towel, and a vanity kit.
For consecutive nights, towels are retrieved from a common area. However, only face towels were available there; bath towels were only provided on the first day. In the morning, the supply was low, so I recommend grabbing one early if you need it.
One thing that bothered me was a guest who left their luggage on the shelf in front of the lockers for an extended period, making it a bit difficult to access the lockers. Since it's a shared space, I hope everyone can be considerate of each other when using it.
Despite being a new facility, there were a few spots where dirt was noticeable, and I also saw small insects (I stayed in the summer). If cleanliness is your top priority, this might be a concern, but if you prioritize price and just need a place to sleep, I think it's a sufficiently convenient hotel.

Nick BurThe hotel was very clean, and the self-service check-in via the kiosk was quick and convenient. Check-out was just as fast and easy. The room was spotless and included slippers and a toothbrush.

Guest UserCentraly situated in a busy street but stilll quite quiet during the night.
Our AC did not work the first night and we could change room the day after.
We had a double room - and it was placeoptimized. Not too much extra place in the room than the beds… Tiny toilet and bathroom, but overall worked for our needs.

HENGLIThe homestay is in a small alley, which is different from the Chinese name and the picture name on Ctrip. It took a long time to find it. The photo of the front door of his house is as follows, please click here to find it. The surrounding area is very lively at night, with better coffee shops and western restaurants nearby. Nearby shops are also quite distinctive.
