The self-service water dispenser and microwave right next to the elevator are a huge plus. Downstairs is Ikseon-dong, and it's also a walkable distance to Insadong for browsing little shops. The location and transportation are absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for better. However, the room itself is really tiny; there's nowhere to even put used bath towels. The clothes hanger is fixed and can't be moved, and it's right next to the kettle, which is a really annoying design. They provided drip coffee, which was quite good. Body lotion was also provided, which was another nice touch.

Best affordable accommodation for a short stay in Seoul! Everything is clean, neat, and well organized. I’m very impressed by the details. Towel, water, slippers, and ear plugs provided in the locker. Outdoor shoes are required to left in the locker area to keep the room area clean. Shiny washing room and toilets. Shampoo and shower gel are available in the shower box. The bedroom is compact but good enough for a men less than 6ft. There are cabinets for personal stuff storage right beside bed. Multiple power cords - Korean type x 2, USB x 2, and a wireless charger. Hanger is provided as well. Lovely place! Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine with detailed instructions in the lounge. Friendly staff!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).

The location is convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Jongno 3-ga Station to the hotel. However, the alley leading to it is a bit quiet. There's a CU convenience store nearby. There's also a back exit that leads out to another alley, with hotels and izakayas on both sides, making it a bit dark.

Had a nice stay here for a couple of nights while in Seoul. Was adequately clean and comfortable but the real highlight is the location - super close to transport links and key sites if you’re visiting Seoul for the first time. Would recommend if you’re staying in Seoul for a couple of days.

Before choosing a hotel, I always read reviews. Many mentioned the neighborhood was noisy, and that's definitely true, but it's not a fault of the hotel itself. It's just part of the area. However, if you're a first-timer in Seoul and want to hit as many sights as possible in minimal time, this is one of the best neighborhoods. Gyeongbokgung Palace is a 40-minute walk away, and the Han River is just around the corner. The subway station, two minutes away, can take you anywhere. The room is clean and simple. It's thoroughly cleaned before check-in, but there's no cleaning service during your stay. For me, that's a plus rather than a minus; I don't like people entering my room when I'm not there. The room has a TV, a fridge, and a separate shower. But if you're traveling with a friend you don't know very well yet, be prepared to step out of the room when someone is showering. Or you'll become best friends! :) Regarding amenities for daily comfort: 1. There's a communal kitchen with a coffee machine, hot and cold water dispenser, stove, and microwave. 2. There's a washing machine with a drying function: two hours, and no need to find a place to hang wet clothes. 3. There's a garment steamer – instantly boosts comfort by +10,000 points. Reviews also complained about noisy neighbors. I didn't encounter any during my stay: just students, couples with kids, and lovely ahjummas. If someone does seem noisy, earplugs are readily available. At one point, the water was supposed to be shut off for repairs, and the hostel staff brought two bottles of water directly to my room. The hostel owner checks in to see how things are going and engages in small talk with repeat guests. If you're a solo traveler, I definitely recommend it. Yes, it's a 'walking' neighborhood, but throughout my entire stay, I never once felt unsafe. Special thanks for the umbrella sharing! 🤍

The room was quite spacious and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. It's conveniently located with plenty of food and drink options nearby. A bus and subway station are about a 10-minute walk away, which made getting around super easy. We were really close to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. They provide two bottles of mineral water every day, and the cleaning staff was wonderful – always greeting us with a smile. They cleaned our room every single day during our 5-day stay!

The hotel I stayed at during my trip to Seoul was an excellent experience overall. The location was superb, close to a subway station, making it convenient for shopping and medical appointments in the city center. The room was cleaned daily, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, check-in was efficient, and the internet connection was smooth and stable. There were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making shopping very convenient. The overall environment was simple and clean, offering great value for money. Traveling alone, I felt very safe and secure, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Seoul.

A good option for a budget hotel. It's quite clean and the staff are friendly, but if you check in during the evening, it's self-check-in. At the reception, there's tea, coffee, and even instant noodles available at any time. A significant downside: it's very noisy at night as there's a club in the same building and you can hear the music, but earplugs are provided.)

Absolutely 100/10! Location: fantastic! 2x metro exits right outside the hotel with the others near by!!! It is close to Ikseon-dong.. less than 1 min walk, Insadong - 2-3 mins walk. Myeongdong - easy 30 mins walk! Location really is amazing! Service: customer service is 5 stars! The reception can all speak English and they were soooo helpful! They always say hello in Korean when they see you! And they helped me locate the correct bus stop towards the airport. If they didn’t help, I would have got the wrong bus stop haha. Cleanliness: can’t complain, I thought housekeeping did a great job! Overall: I WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE FROM NOW ON :) ohhh and there’s a bath tub in the bathroom, it was also a really spacious big bathtub! Everything was great! Definitely one of my favourite stays! I wish they had a gym then it would be superperfect!

The location is great, within walking distance to Bukchon Village and Myeongdong, which is super convenient. Upon check-in, I received a free facial mask. I stayed for a total of 4 nights, and on the third day, I requested housekeeping. However, they only replenished one bottle of water and changed the trash bag. The bathroom wasn't cleaned, and the hair wasn't removed, which led to poor drainage later on. It would be better if they provided bottled water based on the number of nights stayed. I was on the first floor, so I didn't have any issues with luggage. After going up one flight of stairs to the second floor, there's a kitchen with simple cookies and tea bags available. The single room was spacious enough to open a 27-inch suitcase with room to spare, and it also had a mini-fridge. For 1600 NTD per night for one person, it's considered good value for money.

Pleasant stay. The room was clean, spacious, and felt fresh. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. The luggage storage was organized very convenient. An additional shared kitchen was another nice bonus. I’d definitely stay here again.

A little small like other people mentioned, but it was very clean and self check-in was very easy to navigate. I accidentally locked myself out of my room and the staff was very quick to help. It's in a good location, but can be hard to find, make sure to look up for the name plate. The free washing machine was also very helpful, didn't have to worry about dirty clothes.

Pros: It was my first time staying in a basement room, so I was a bit flustered, but it was just missing a window. The air was fresh, and it wasn't humid or dry, so the condition was really good. The room was very spacious. The floor heating worked well, and I preferred that it wasn't a carpeted floor. The bathroom was also very large, and the pajamas were warm and comfortable. The reception staff were incredibly friendly. It was great to be able to take as much water as I wanted from the first floor. There's an ice machine and a coffee machine on the first floor, which is nice. (Though it felt a bit awkward and embarrassing because the staff would stand up and greet me every time I passed the desk, haha.) Although I didn't use it, breakfast is free. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, so it seems soundproofed. You can store your luggage before and after check-in. There's a CU convenience store nearby, and many street food stalls and restaurants, which is convenient. It was convenient that delivery drivers could come right to the room door. The location is good, close to the bustling area and bus stops. There's a good speaker. There's a very large TV with loud volume. Cons: The bed was too soft and didn't offer enough support, which caused back pain. (Instead, the floor was spacious and clean, so I slept on the floor.) There were two pillows; one was too high, and the other was a memory foam pillow that felt hard. The hard memory foam pillow didn't pair well with the soft bed, which made my back and neck hurt even more. Perhaps because it's a basement room, I heard the sound of water flowing from the ceiling wall all night. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would consider returning.

As this is a newly opened establishment, I was a bit apprehensive due to the lack of reviews, but overall it was clean and perfectly satisfactory for just sleeping there. However, there were a few things that bothered me. I booked a lower bunk bed, but the locker was located above the upper bunk. At 155cm (about 5'1”), it was quite difficult to hang clothes on the hanger, so I mostly ended up using it as a place to store my luggage. If you plan to use the locker frequently or are on the shorter side, I recommend keeping this in mind when choosing your bed. Next time, I think I'll book an upper bunk. Check-in is done at a kiosk, but the passport age verification took a little while. Also, I wasn't sure when my room number was displayed, which was a bit confusing. However, if you go back to the initial screen and select your language, there's an option to 'confirm room number,' where you can find it. Amenities were provided inside the locker on the first day, including a toothbrush set, cleansing wipes, a shower towel, and a vanity kit. For consecutive nights, towels are retrieved from a common area. However, only face towels were available there; bath towels were only provided on the first day. In the morning, the supply was low, so I recommend grabbing one early if you need it. One thing that bothered me was a guest who left their luggage on the shelf in front of the lockers for an extended period, making it a bit difficult to access the lockers. Since it's a shared space, I hope everyone can be considerate of each other when using it. Despite being a new facility, there were a few spots where dirt was noticeable, and I also saw small insects (I stayed in the summer). If cleanliness is your top priority, this might be a concern, but if you prioritize price and just need a place to sleep, I think it's a sufficiently convenient hotel.

Centraly situated in a busy street but stilll quite quiet during the night. Our AC did not work the first night and we could change room the day after. We had a double room - and it was placeoptimized. Not too much extra place in the room than the beds…  Tiny toilet and bathroom, but overall worked for our needs.

The homestay is in a small alley, which is different from the Chinese name and the picture name on Ctrip. It took a long time to find it. The photo of the front door of his house is as follows, please click here to find it. The surrounding area is very lively at night, with better coffee shops and western restaurants nearby. Nearby shops are also quite distinctive.
