Hotels in Myeong-dong, Seoul

There were 5 of us, and we emailed the hotel beforehand to request extra beds. They responded very promptly, and when we arrived, we just had to pay the extra bed fee. The small beds were already set up in the living room, which was great. The room's underfloor heating was very effective; it was quite warm inside. The location is also very convenient. We took the airport bus to get there and used the same bus stop for our return to the airport. We walked to Myeongdong every day, which took about 15-20 minutes. There's a currency exchange machine on the second floor of the hotel. On our last day, we realized we had no cash for the airport bus, so we went to the machine on the second floor with our Chinese Yuan and passport to exchange for Korean Won. It was very convenient, and the exchange rate was 5.

Let's start with the positives: - Great location 🆗 - Room has a large fridge 🆗 - Comes with a garment care system 🆗 - The suite room is quite spacious 🆗 Now for the downsides, which are most of them: - There's a chance your room faces the South Gate directly, with a busy road downstairs, making it noisy and bright. - The balcony runs across the entire room, but only the sleeping area has curtains. The rest is frosted glass, so it's bright from neon signs at night and the sun in the morning. Impossible to get any sleep. - And the bed, whatever you do, don't book a king-sized one. I don't know what material it's made of, but if one person moves, the whole thing sways. It felt like I was seasick. Staying for 3 days was agony.

Very good location and friendly staff!! The hotel is in a building and in the basement is one of the subway exits!! Perfect location! And there is baggage storage available so we can put our bags before check-ins!! Definitely recommend to all the tourists! Also the hotel is close to meyongdong shopping area! Around 10-15 min walk distance!

The environment, hygiene, service, and location are all excellent. The only downside is the small room size, but that's understandable given the high land prices in the bustling Myeongdong area. 300 (won/currency not specified, assuming a reasonable price) is quite a bargain. I'll very likely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul. Plus, breakfast is free!

The hotel is located in Myeongdong's commercial district, offering incredibly convenient transportation. There's a subway station right outside, and it's surrounded by malls. Myeongdong Walking Street is just across the road, and Lotte Department Store and Lotte Duty-Free are a ten-minute walk away. The area is lively with food, drinks, and entertainment at night. Subway Line 4, right outside, gets you to Seoul Station in two stops, so you don't have to rush for your train. The room, though a bit dated, was very clean and well-organized. Mineral water, tea bags, and coffee sachets were provided, and there's a mini-fridge. There's a vanity table and a makeup mirror outside the bathroom, which is very convenient. It has a bathtub with a shower inside, and plenty of hot water. Towels and bath towels are provided, but disposable toiletries like toothbrushes are not; you need to bring your own, which is a standard regulation in Korea. The slippers are not disposable but are disinfected. There are self-service lockers on the ground floor that can fit large suitcases. You can store your items for free using a password provided by the hotel, which is quite convenient. However, you need to set your own pick-up password and remember the locker number to avoid forgetting it.

Pictures make it look like a full fledge full service hotel but it’s really a small 3 star hotel. Location is great though right in the heart of the shopping street and night market. Just steps away from Myeongdong station and airport bus. Price is very high for the small room so value for money is low. But if you really want to stay for location maybe search around a bit more for hotels around the area as there’s quite a lot.

This is my second time to stay in L7 Myeong Dong Hotel. Location and hotel condition is the best among all other hotels in Myeong Dong. Service at counter and room service people are highly professional and nice to us. I will stay in this hotel when I come to Seoul again.

Do not make reservation room if you think the parking is included in the price, IS NOT, cash only  20k won. Also. Is very expensive during holidays, and if you need to rake TAXI to see FIREWorks Festival. You will feel disappointed and irritated because the taxi would  NOT TAKE you close to event for you to walk for 40 minutes. BECAUSE everything special is around the river and hotel is almost five miles or 8.5 km away. Also. The hotel is divided in cast levels because you have to walk in the rain to next building to have breakfast or park. They will tell you drive around the city if you intend to back up your car only five meters.  They would not assist you to ensure safety but they are happy to take your cash money for parking which its advertised available. The Hotel is OK, if you want to use as LOVE motel because has manny drinking bars and you can see a real Korean Drama show performed by visitors or locals. It’s not suitable for a family. The restaurants are very expensive and it is not suitable for young travelers. Drinking its plenty if an individual is alcoholic which it reminds of 42 street in NY during 80’s. By the way, I was lucky having my car, if NOT, my family trip would be disappointed and miserable.  We spent for one day trip $ 1 K and almost a disaster for not being able to see fireworks festival on the river, but we were saved having our car. BY THE WAY Seoul is beautiful and plan accordingly. Good luck!

My wife and I stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights, and we honestly loved our time at ENA Suite Hotel. The location is super convenient, easy walk to Namdaemun and Myeongdong. There are tons of cafes, eateries, and convenience stores nearby too. Our room was clean, spacious, and modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The in-room washing machine and small kitchenette were a huge plus since we were staying almost a week. The staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping kept our room spotless every day. We also liked that the area feels quiet at night, even though it’s close to the main shopping spots. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for couples or families visiting Seoul!

The hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, with a bathtub in the bathroom and outdated room colors. However, the smart toilet is a nice touch. Housekeeping cleans daily. The location is excellent, right at the Myeongdong subway exit. Olive Young is on the ground floor, and there's a trendy clothing store in the basement. The room size is quite generous; in the family room with two beds, we could still walk around comfortably with two suitcases open. Considering the price, size, and location, it's pretty good value for money. This is my second stay here.
