Pleasant stay in the heart of the city
Location
The hotel's location is fantastic. It's right in the heart of Seoul, within walking distance of the vibrant Dongdaemun Design Plaza, shopping centers, and many local restaurants. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
**Rooms
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a comfortable stay. The only minor drawback was that the decor felt a bit dated compared to some newer hotels.
Dining
The hotel's dining options were decent, but I found myself venturing out to nearby restaurants for most meals, as Seoul offers an incredible variety of culinary experience.
RAMADA BY WYNDHAM SEOUL DONGDAEMUN offers a comfortable and convenient stay in one of Seoul's most vibrant neighborhoods. While it may not have the flashiest amenities, the excellent location and friendly staff make it a solid choice for travelers looking to explore the city.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul, especially if you value a central location and attentive service.

We enjoyed our stay here.
Some pros: conveniently located near several subway stations and lines. Service was quite good with clean rooms, cleaned everyday. The self-check in and self-checkout was really great. There was a nice view from our room, overlooking Namsan and Seoul Tower.
Cons: had some issues getting the electric outlets to allow electricity to flow and the water pressure from the shower was very light, making it hard to take a shower in a timely manner. Overall, not bad but there are better options around Dongdaemun for a similar price.

Good location, surrounded by cafes and restaurants and shops. Close to subway station and bus stop (even bus that goes ro Incheon airport). The room is clean and we got everything that we need in the room. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. The front of house staffs speak English very well and most of the time they were there..just tap the bell. They kept our luggages while we went to Osaka for a week, and when we came back they have put our luggages in our room..we really appreciate that. They also upgraded our room for 1 night..good job team!!!. (Sorry we don't know your name, we only know the manager's name, Charlie..thanks Charlie!). .overall we are happy with our stay and we will come back next time we visit Seoul.

Neighbourhood:
24 h shop is next door. A lot of cafes and food stalls. The hotel door leads to A tourist street with souvenirs and it is literally a couple of meters from the entrance :)
4 metro stations are in 10 - 15 min walk from the hotel, there are a lot of bus stops to different destinations. A bus stop to the airport is 10 min walk (limousine bus) , it's very convenient
Service:
Staff are friendly, helpful and polite (what else can one expect from Korea 😊).
Breakfasts:
Don't vary very much but ok to begin the day.
Rooms:
If you're lucky you'll get a street view. My second time room faces the wall. But as I came back to the room only to sleep it was not a big deal.
In general, if I come to Seoul again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel

Convenience - the location is extremely convenient. The hotel is located above subway line 4 , 5mins walk from the limousine bus line , 10 mins walk from Myeongdong Street , and there are seven eleven stores nearby the hotel .
Cleanliness - The room was clean upon my arrival, however , I did find a few strands of hair in the room but it's a human who's cleaning not a robot so I'd not rate the hotel too low for that. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. The hotel room didn't have tooth brush and tooth paste but I'm almost sure one can get that at the hotels check if if needed, I also take my own toiletries , so I didn't need to ask.
Room details - the room is small , that goes for a lot of hotels in seoul. The one thing I would have loved more was if the room had white light, easier for makeup application haha. The bathroom has white light but there's no counter , just a sink , there's no place to put the makeup bag. The bed was comfortable.
Service : the front desk staff was professional and courteous. The overall customer service at the hotel is good.
Breakfast: I have a very limited diet but each morning I was able to find something to eat . The breakfast options mainly included, bacon , eggs , bread , Ramen, pasta , salads , bagels , cereal and milk etc.

The room is a bit small and there is.no desk for working. Our room is facing railway and a bit noisy but we don't stay in the room during the day so it's okay for us. Other than that everything is perfect. Airport bus stop is just one minute away. Train and KTX is nearby. Many bus stops nearby. A lot of restaurants are just opposite the road. Yeongdeungpo market is around 15 mins walk. Room is clean and tidy. I will come back again.

Hotel is very new and clean. Lobby staff are very friendly and helpful. They kindly let us checked in an hour earlier even though we didn’t request for it. We stayed for 13 days and room service was done everyday. The cleaning lady was nice and diligent. Location is quite convenient very near to Chungmuro station and Im grateful that they have lift because we have big luggages. Hotel 1st floor has a wonpass machine so it was very convenient to top up our cards. They have a GS25 in the hotel we can easily buy food and drinks whenever we want. I really love the hotel Pascucci cafe. It has two levels, very beautiful and nice ambience cafe. Every morning I can enjoy good quality coffee, cakes and sandwiches with reasonable prices. The only downside is hotel’s surrounding are small and dark old lanes. When we came back late night, we would see drunks near the premises. However in general it is still safe to walk there since it was only a short walk away from the hotel entrance.

Our experience in Merlin Hotel is nothing short but, amazing. The owner and staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating during our stay. Although the service and facilities may not be the greatest, in comparison to a 5 star hotel, it was sufficient and well equipped. The rooms does not come with toiletries, however, it is provided at front desk which is top-up daily by staff, and guest may take as much as they require. As for cleaning services, the staff will change towel (put it inside the provided basket) and do minimal cleaning of room (sweep or, mop the room) daily.
The location of the hotel is near Chungmuro station, just take exit 8 (stairs) or, exit 1 (escalator; will require to cross road to reach hotel). The subway itself is an ideal station with intercepting line which is, Line 4 and Line 3. Additionally, it is also a stop away from Dongdaemun with transfer line of Line 2, Line 4 and Line 4. It is a walking distance to Myeongdong, approximately 10 - 15 minutes depending on your walking speed.
Overall, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Korea, not because of the hotel location or etc but, the staff there who were an absolute ray of sunshine with their positive energy.

One of the most amazing hotels that I’ve ever stayed!
Very reasonable price very great location!
Very nice room condition, it was very clean and comfortable. And in the bathroom, there’s a small area with mirror is very very convenient for girls to make up. I want to make a good comment on that. 
And I want to comment that every single staff that I encounter with was very professional, very helpful and fluent in English, I was surprised and happy!
During my stay, I accidentally make the bed sheet dirty which I was very very sorry about that, but they didn’t charge me which I also surprised because with my previous stays, in other hotels, they usually will charge 
Even though the breakfast selections was not much, but the breakfast was really delicious and enjoyable.
The condition of the restaurant was also very nice!
And the first floor they have a coffee shop, which is really convenient for those who stay in hotel and the tourist! In their lobby they also have a small bar who can self service for the beverage. They have coffee and tea that was super nice and surprised for me!
The surrounding area was also very convenient and close to the subway station.
And also, they are very nice to foreigners,all the floors and all the signs with English and the guide for staying in the hotel are presented in four languages!
For those who using wow pass here definitely is a good choice because in their lobby they have one machine which is super super convenient !! 
Definitely will recommend Roynet Hotel to everyone ! This is the first time I write such a long comment.I feel very welcomed and warm in here. 
And it is very likely for the next time I visiting Seoul again and I will staying here again!

Wonderful spot in the middle of Seoul! Highly recommend to all types of travelers, but specifically those inclined to shop. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired with a dirty towel and under-cleaned waste paper basket, but service for this issue was prompt and excellent. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff as well. Lovely Twosome Cafe from walking distance!!!
