Best Hotels near Tabernacle Of Holiness, Singapore

We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

Wasn’t expecting much for the price we paid but we were pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic of the hotel lobby and the room itself other than the occasional ant or two on the table and jn the toilet but besides that everything was clean, no stains whatsoever on the bath towels or on the sheets or pillows. Thermostat was adjustable and worked just fine and the shower area was reasonably large with essentials like soap and disposable toothbrushes being provided. However, like some of the other comments have mentioned, the walls are rather thin and so you may hear other visitors in the corridor or the opening of doors and foodplaces are about a 10 minute walk away such as i12 katong

This is a small hotel but it was very beautiful and clean. The decor and aesthetic was adorable. There aren’t any amenities per se just a cozy little hotel to rest your head. The staff was very friendly and helped us with ordering food when we just arrived. They were very helpful and professional and also made recommendations for us when needed. The street which the hotel is located in has a variety of restaurants and a popular coffee shop and is in walking proximity to about 3 hawkers Centre and close enough to all the attractions we wan to visit.

It was a very good hotel. Thank you for providing towels, toothbrushes, and water. There are some people who have given bad reviews, but I think it's strange to complain when you can stay there for a cheap price. I will use it again when I come to Singapore. thank you very much.

The overall service of the hotel was excellent. They welcome us with complimentary chocolates when we told them we were there to have an early birthday celebration for my wife. They sent their staff to help us when we could not connect our mobile phone to the TV. Not forgetting the excellent views from infinity swimming pool and room. They made the stay pleasant for us. However, they could improve on telling guests how to get to the Skypark. The staff of the club were not too friendly when we lost our way and asked for directions.

Folks and I stayed a night at Hotel Mi Rochor. Prompt and fuss free check-in and we got our rooms on the same level as requested. Though the room was fairly small, but it's really adequate for two guests even with luggage. Beds and pillows were firm and clean, to our likings. Both rooms were really clean and there's an additional tap for premium drinking water, and there's kettle available for warm water and hot beverages. The toilet/shower is small, but the tap/sink is situated outside the toilet, so that's convenient. It was pouring the whole day, but that didn't deter us from heading out. I overheard that the hotel doesn't provide any umbrellas, but you can purchase raincoats/umbrellas at the 7-11 situated right next to the hotel. We had ours, and we headed out for our lunch and dinner at Waterloo and Bugis areas, just 5 - 10 minutes walk away. Rochor mrt station is just next to Hotel Mi, so we could also reach Marina/Suntec area within 5 minutes. I like this location as it's just walking distance to the main streets for F&B/shoppings/sightseeing activities, but yet we are away from the noise and buzz. So we could have good quiet early rest.

Service was not bad. Staff were nice and helpful, housekeeping is always friendly and willing to help. Asked for a nice decoration to celebrate our vacation and received a sweet little box of chocolates along with a note from the manager. Cleanliness can be improved because the floor is sometimes still dirty even after housekeeping. They also didn’t clean the second floor at all for the entire duration of our stay. Location is about a 15-minute walk to Clarke Quay Central / MRT, which makes town and most other attractions easily accessible. Might be inconvenient if carrying heavy luggage. Overall pleasant and I wouldn’t mind returning :)

Very beautiful and spacious room, hotel also gave us a tasty chocolate birthday cake from shophouse.  Bed was big and comfortable Personalized check-in at Valley Wing also meant that there we didnt need to queue at the tower wing  Breakfast was nice, although it would be good if the eggs were not included into the selection of 2 dishes, especially since eggs are also available in The Line. Hotel gave us late checkout until 3pm. Huge gym and pool Staff were mostly proactive and friendly, especially Peggy, Raja, Yusuke, and Fabian who were always ready to help Misunderstanding where the staff told me to wear pants to the Summit Room/Valley Wing lounge but actually berms are allowed too

A hotel past its prime for what it was marketed for. Pros: • hotel has Sentosa feeder Bus A and B right outside and a free shuttle bus to Beach Station and Vivo City • scored an early check-in on a Friday morning with bath tub. Thank you! • the pool came with balls, hoops and a mini goalpost. What we felt could improve: • they were marketed as kids friendly hotel where kids are also allowed to participate in the check-in process (many local reviews highlighted that). However, we saw none of that happening despite a really low-volume crowd. There was nobody behind me in the queue. And of the many times we passed by reception, the kids friendly ladder stool was a white elephant, and we did not see any kids checking-in. • did not see any of the mini hotelier program happening. • the pool’s anti-slip mats were really grimy. It’s pretty gross and you could see green algae forming on some parts of it 🤢. Not to mention the grime also makes it less anti-slip. • the “lazy river” is barely lazy at all? There were no tubes available to laze around in the river as marketed. What we saw though were guests using life buoys which were quickly taken away by the pool staff. Why call it a lazy river when you walk through it? It’s yet another white elephant. • the hotel breakfast is nothing much to shout about. The hash brown was oily and not crispy at all at early 8am! The nan was cold. Skip it if you don’t need the convenience. • hotel wifi was not stable enough to cast shows from the iPad to the tv. Only local channels were available. Think I was gullible to believe the receptionist that if I signed up for email promotions, I’d get more stable wifi LOL. What a lie.
