3320260****The hotel's amenities exceeded my expectations, addressing all the pain points of business travelers: the room door locks gave me a great sense of security, and the pillows were similar to those used at Atour Hotels. Even the placement of the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was perfectly convenient for guests! This price is truly excellent value! I used to think Hanting Hotels were somewhat low-end, but this experience has completely changed my mind. From now on, I'll choose Hanting whenever possible for business trips!

MMonsterOnVacaySpending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time.
The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful.
The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring.
Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

MM28j1z4w2****Family! We found a treasure✨ I just checked out of this B&B and I have to praise it! The location is right in the scenic area, so it is super convenient to go back to the accommodation when you are tired. There is also an exclusive parking lot, which makes self-driving parties ecstatic🚗
The room is warmly decorated, the bedding is clean and soft, and the large windows face the natural scenery. In the morning, I was awakened by the sun and birdsong, and I felt happy🌿 The bathroom is also clean and the facilities are easy to use.
I especially praise the boss! He is as enthusiastic as a family member and thoughtfully planned a tour route for us. This service is amazing👍 I will stay here again next time I come, and it is a five-star recommendation~

From the beginning of the get off the bus, I felt full of intimate, the front desk check-in was fast, the room type was very good, highly recommended. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft like a cloud, and I slept super heavy at night. The breakfast shop at the entrance of the hotel has many types to choose from, and the boiling water is really delicious! It is only three minutes away from the ancient city of Changting. It is convenient to go to attractions and business districts. Next time you come to live here, you must have five stars!

The overall value for money is good. However, the kettle is a bit dirty and the bed is too soft. I have a bad waist and cannot sleep on a soft bed, so I still give it 5 stars.

MM58414****This is a super warm homestay. It is newly opened, with new equipment, clean and hygienic environment, and spacious rooms. It is completely different from the concerns and pictures when booking. We checked in on New Year's Eve. The proprietress was very welcoming and cooked a New Year's Eve dinner for us. She charged a symbolic fee, which was very warm. This B&B is owned by Zhencheng. The proprietress also took us into the building for free to watch the show on New Year's Eve. She is especially good at taking photos. At the beginning of the year, she came to cook glutinous rice breakfast for us and I gave the boss lady a big hug right away!

LlycbYongding Tulou, a destination I've long dreamed of visiting, truly lives up to its charm. It was perfect timing – spring was in full bloom – for a spontaneous trip. The guesthouse is conveniently located right next to the scenic area, easily reachable on foot. It offers all the essential amenities, provides dining options, and is very affordable. I highly recommend catching the Tulou light show; it's absolutely breathtaking!

Nnico3It's right in front of the high-speed rail station. There are restaurants around the hotel, and there are also breakfast stalls. There was no water. There are frequent buses to the downtown area from the bus stop a few minutes' walk away, so it's fine to go out and eat in the city. The room was clean, but I would be happy if they could improve the hygiene of the bathroom. It was on the 5th floor without an elevator, so it was a bit difficult to go up and down, but they kept my luggage until the evening after I checked out, which was helpful!

WWanlijianguanA little research before my trip revealed that Yuqing Building is the second *tulou* within the Chuxi Tulou Cluster, which was prominently featured as the first listed site in the 2008 Fujian Tulou UNESCO World Heritage nomination. It was a delightful surprise to find out it's now open as a guesthouse!
Nestled by a stream and embraced by the forest, it exudes an authentic, rustic charm. As Chuxi is a bit off the beaten path, coupled with my weekday stay, I practically had the *tulou* all to myself. Since it's owner-operated, Yuqing Building is lit up at night, creating the rare and beautiful sight of the entire structure glowing with lanterns. The owner's family was lovely; the meals were affordable and authentic, plus they have two adorable fluffy little dogs!
When it comes to choosing *tulou* clusters, I visited Chuxi, Gaobei (home to the 'Tulou King'), and Hongkeng (home to the 'Tulou Prince'). In terms of scenery, overall experience, and authentic charm, Chuxi clearly came out on top, followed by Gaobei, then Hongkeng (Chuxi > Gaobei > Hongkeng). If you only have time for one *tulou* cluster, I wholeheartedly recommend Chuxi.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay experience. This homestay is quite large, with a large parking lot and restaurant. The location is very good, a few steps away from the Tulou Prince Zhencheng Building. The exit of the scenic spot was 600 meters from his house. We didn't let the car in the scenic spot until 4 pm. We parked the car in the parking lot next to the exit (free of charge). The proprietress drove to pick it up in time and was very enthusiastic. The boss introduced us to the tour route. Some villagers were drinking tea and chatting with the boss, and the boss's family was very good. At around 5 o'clock, we drove the car to the downstairs of the villa, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The proprietress burned a hand, caught chicken on the mountain, fresh vegetables picked in the field, and the kitchen was clean. After dinner, go to Zhencheng Building to watch a light show and a movie on the floor. If you walk about 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic spot to Zhencheng Building, you don't have to take the scenic car and pay the parking fee to live in this house, which saves money and effort. It is a very recommended homestay.
