We relied on them for transportation (driving is not allowed inside the scenic area, but there are shuttle buses provided by the shops to take you everywhere). Food: Staying at the hotel and relaxing all day was very comfortable. If you're too lazy to go out, you can call the Furong Restaurant across the street, and they'll cook and deliver the food. The taste is home-style and the prices are reasonable. (The dishes are freshly made, not pre-prepared, and the taste is very home-style, which I thought was very good. I also ordered shredded pork noodles for breakfast, and the stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers was delicious.) The location is super central. It took me less than ten minutes to walk to the train station and was nearby the main attractions of yueyang. The room was big and clean but check in was a hassle. The receptionist didn't know how to register foreign travelers and I helped her to complete the digital form. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
