Yueyang Hotels with Balcony

Location is quite far from attractions and was not able to get a didi transport at night. Hotel cleaning crew entered the room while we were inside.

I came here for business and it was my first time to stay at the Bamboo Hotel at the High Speed ​​Rail Station. The environment was pretty good. I checked in quite late and the parking was very convenient. There was an open-air parking lot. Check-in is right next to the parking lot. You can see it as soon as you park your car. The price is quite comfortable. The room is relatively large, simple and elegant. very good! In the evening, the room staff will deliver small drinks. Well enough!

I am quite tolerant of boutique hotels and B&Bs in China that cost just over 1,000 yuan. This one does have a lot of nice details: a tea bar with local spring water (very good tea), floor heating, electric curtains, customized bath supplies, smart toilets... Both meals are made with local ingredients. Although there are some minor problems such as slow water draining in the shower, they are tolerable. However, the overall feeling is more like an unfinished product. The housekeeper also said that it is still under development. Many artworks in the entire resort remind people of the Niigata Art Festival, which can actually tell the story better. Maintaining such a large-scale resort requires huge manpower and material costs, so it is understandable that the overall wild and rough feeling is a bit surprising. What is surprising is that all the staff have a sense of pride and relaxation as their own home, and the service is warm. Special thanks to the housekeeper Danny for taking us up and down to tour. I will try the starry sky room if I have the chance in the future.

I read so many reviews before booking and finally settled on this one. The location is fantastic, right next to Yueyang Tower Scenic Area, and you step right out to Dongting Lake. I originally booked a standard room, but when I arrived, the front desk offered an upgrade to a lake-view room for an extra charge, which I immediately took. It turns out it was totally worth it! The room's floor-to-ceiling windows face Dongting Lake directly, offering an incredible view. You can watch the sunset right from your bed – it's absolutely stunning. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The lobby on the ground floor and the rooftop terrace are both very appealing, and there's even a swimming pool on the third floor. The front desk staff were warm and friendly and gave me some snacks. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and Yueyang Tower is just a few minutes' walk away. My experience this time was excellent; I highly recommend staying here when you visit Yueyang.

Both the owner and the driver were very friendly. We relied on them for transportation (driving is not allowed inside the scenic area, but there are shuttle buses provided by the shops to take you everywhere). Food: Staying at the hotel and relaxing all day was very comfortable. If you're too lazy to go out, you can call the Furong Restaurant across the street, and they'll cook and deliver the food. The taste is home-style and the prices are reasonable. (The dishes are freshly made, not pre-prepared, and the taste is very home-style, which I thought was very good. I also ordered shredded pork noodles for breakfast, and the stir-fried shredded pork with green peppers was delicious.) This time, we also went to the Air Raid Shelter Local Cuisine Restaurant: It was very crowded, so you need to be patient. It was also freshly cooked, and the taste was good. The shrimp cakes were delicious 😋

I just found this hotel online, it looked pretty good, and I really made the right choice, it's very cost-effective, the girl at the front desk was very patient, the air conditioning was turned on in advance, and yogurt was given as a gift, the layout was very reasonable, it was very nice and comfortable to stay in!

The room I booked this time made me feel that I had a big leak. It was 62 square meters. The mahjong room and the bedroom were still separated. The design was really good. Playing mahjong did not affect the people sleeping next to me. This hotel is hygienic, the staff is very enthusiastic, and you can add a quilt. The only bad thing is that there is no formal parking space, but the staff also guided us to park a place. Overall it feels good and the price is very high. There are many barbecue shops next to it, and it is more than ten meters away from the hotel after the supper!

I had a very satisfying stay in Yueyang. There are many restaurants and parking lots around the hotel, making it very convenient for getting around and dining. The hotel has a sunroom for drying clothes, and an elevator for going up and down stairs, which is great.

Hotel location is very good, walking to Yueyang Building, but the facilities in the hotel are old, and the price of National Day accommodation is so expensive, the experience is not good. There is no elevator, carrying heavy luggage to the third floor, the boss does not help. The hotel itself does not have a parking lot. It took a lot of trouble to turn around. I still found a salt company nearby to park. I called the boss. The boss called the salt company to park the door and called our car. When I left the parking lot, the doorman was not there. I called the hotel front desk and didn’t answer. The person in the same car got off and walked to the hotel front desk to find the boss. The boss said that someone was on duty and let us find it ourselves. It was really speechless. Why didn’t the boss help the doorman to call and let go?
