2-Star Hotels in Kuantan

We booked a triple room and it was very spacious. While the design isn't particularly unique, feeling more like an old home, the place was very clean overall. It came with a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a table, and parking, though there was no refrigerator. The best part is that there are many vegetarian restaurants nearby! ❤️ It's super convenient, and the places we wanted to visit, like Teluk Cempedak and Kuantan City Mall, are all very close. Check-in and check-out were both done via machines, which was very convenient as we didn't have to wait for anyone. 👍🏻

the toilet and room very clean. got iron at each floor and got parking space. located near Pantai cempedak just less than 10 minutes drive. Bonus point got TMG supermarket infront of the house very convenient to do quick shopping. i don't took picture of the house but really beautiful and cozy place, got bonding space at level 1 with small table tennis and corridor outside to chill

The linen like no change. Pls make sure the housekeeper change every single use. Especially the pillow case. Smelly, also the bed sheet too. Others is superb

The hotel name on the website is Swing & Pillows, but the signboard says Go Lodge. The road in front of the hotel is a bit narrow, but there's a spacious parking area at the back. There's only one restaurant next to the hotel, but it's only open from late afternoon till midnight. The room is decent and comfortable, and an iron and water dispenser are provided outside the room.

I almost fell into depression in this hotel room. It's extremely cramped, smoky, and downright uncomfortable. A piece of the bathroom soap holder fell off (photo attached). The room had a tiny window, but it didn't open and was tightly curtained. It felt almost like being in a coffin. The pillows smelled like dog urine. Sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. As a result, there was practically no outside air flow, forcing you to turn on the air conditioning at night, and you wake up in the morning feeling sleep-deprived and with a headache. Furthermore, the hotel asks for an additional RM10+2 upon check-in, citing government taxes. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel; it was one of the worst experiences I've had in this country, and in my travels in general. The only positives are decent WiFi and hot water with good pressure.

Booked this hotel for day use to freshen up and change before an event. The room was clean and comfortable, and it served its purpose well for a short stay. Check-in and check-out was smooth, and the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near to city center, with eateries and convenience shops within easy reach. While the room was suitable for changing and resting, the space for prayer was somewhat limited, which may be a consideration for guests who need it. Additionally, no parking was provided, so guests may need to make alternative parking arrangements. Overall, a convenient option for short stay, but a few limitations to take note of.

The location very strategic and easy access to the main city. Also with the low prices, can get a nice room. It’s good for a travellers who just want a places for a short rest, also who are in business trip.

love the free flow hot drinks downstairs very clean room great location to improve - hot shower temperature cannot control (rotating knob malfunction), TV no channels available. - toilet have cigarrettes dust, needed to hose out once to clean out.. but toilet generally clean

It was a repeat stay, very peaceful and quiet only can hear the breeze of the sea wind. Great traveling with family the villa has built a swimming pool.

I had booked for a single bed unit, for a 1 night-stay. The room is a studio unit, with all the provisions of a basic unit. Important items like a good & working air-conditioning, clean & not-rusty kettle, working water heater, clean sheets. All good enough for me, as I only needed an overnight [or 2, depending on schedule] night-stay. It also has good security system - CCTV on all floors, in most critical corners, have staff even in midnight shift, staff contactable, good door security. No qualms over staying again at the Royal. It is strategically located in town-center- walking distance to the 3 malls of Kuantan - Mega Mall, Ktn City Centre Mall & East Coast Mall. But I was driving, so that fits my purpose sufficiently. Royal deserves a consideration if you are looking for a no-hassle stay. .
