3-Star Hotels in Quebec City

Loved my stay at Terminus Hôtel! The King Business Suite was clean, classy, and super comfortable. The whole place has a fresh, modern vibe—definitely a new style of hotel. The hotel is located in Quebec old city center, it’s very close to the famous castle hotel. It’s a very convenient location. Room is clean and warm during the winter. It is serviced every day as well. We had the room at 4th floor, the top floor, but about 1/3 of the room is less than 1.8m, just like the attic. Despite that, it’s still quite spacious. We only had one complaint that the hotel does not have water drinking machine, you have to buy bottled water outside. Though the front desk told us tap water in Canada is drinkable, but I doubt so from a tap serving both hot and cold water.

We had a wonderful stay at QUALITY INN—perfect for families with kids! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Our children loved the clean and well-maintained warm pool especially after a long day walk in Old Quebec. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was a great way to start each day. The staff are really nice and the guest laundry room are helpful to have clean clothes after our family trip. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway.

The location is so convenient. One can take metrobus800 which connects the city centre, the fall, supermarket Maxi, metro plus. It is a frequent route, easy to travel. The ground floor is still under construction, not so easy to walk. The building is without elevator, it may not be easy for all travellers. According to the description of the rooms, all rooms should be equipped with washer and dryer, however, the room assigned was without any wash and dry, we requested for a change. The person in charge helped change for us. There’s no room cleaning and tidy service throughout the three nights we stay. But everything looks new and clean. They provide sufficient tissues, toilet papers and washing tablets even. The building is close to the traffic, convenient but rather noisy somehow. The air conditioning was locked but lucky that these few days are not extremely hot. But it’s definitely quite hot and it won’t be that comfortable without air conditioning in hot weather.

What a wonderful surprise! A very nice, inexpensive hotel, ideally located on a street in the heart of Old Quebec City, yet quiet. The room is super well-appointed, so it doesn't even feel small. The bedding is top-notch, and the bathroom space is perfect. The shower is ideally sized, and the products provided are very high-quality... we could even heat our towels!! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable... we were treated as warmly as in a 4-star hotel. The dining area is very well laid out, and we felt at home. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc., as well as fresh or sparkling water... everything is unlimited! Two beautiful terraces (one downstairs and the other on the roof with foosball, fire pit, etc.) where we felt at home... Luggage storage available from 12 p.m. on the day of arrival until 8 p.m. on the day of our departure. In short... We'll be back!! Thank you again for your welcome!!

Nice place to stay, especially if you’re planning to mostly be out and about to explore. The location is perfect. The rooms are basic and not luxurious, but everything you need is there. Having an AC was definitely worth it. There also a common area and an unmanned reception with some kitchen facilities. I had to contact the accommodation for check-in info, but they were very prompt, friendly and helpful. The self-checkin with access codes was easy. There’s no elevator and the rooms are not on ground floor level, I knew this of course, because it’s written in the hotel info. I had a room with a balcony and that was a nice touch. There’s also a patio on the rooftop. It would be nice if they provide some more information about the place. I discovered the patio by just exploring myself. All by all, I had a good stay of 2 nights. I only slept in the place, as I was mostly outdoors.

Overall good stay. It's a self service hotel, which wasn't clear on the hotels description, upon arrival I didn't have the self-checkin instructions but I called the hotel number and they were quick to send me an email and even allow me to check-in earlier. Check-out was also really easy and I was even able to check-out later too. Only downside was that there wasn't an option for breakfast as it states on the hotel description. It would've been great if there were mugs or cups in the room and a plus if there was also a selection of teas as complementary. There was no where nearby that I could get a bottle of water or a hot drink, so it'd have been nice to have something in the room. Lastly for any light sleepers - the building is not sound proof so you can easily hear other guests talking in the corridor or going up the stairs etc. Other than that good stay overall - thank you Auberge la Chouette

I stayed at Travelodge during my trip to Quebec last weekend, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located a bit far from Old Quebec where most attractions are, but the area is calm and quiet, which made it relaxing. There were a few small issues at check-in — I was first given a room that wasn’t ready and was double-charged by mistake — but the friendly hotel staff quickly fixed everything with great service. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and had a nice view. There’s an IGA supermarket nearby, and a Korean restaurant right next door that was excellent. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay outside the busy city center.

Decent room but at a luxury cost. Be careful what you book. The first room (maybe queen?) was really small, dirty, and right near the public bathroom. After upgrading the room was a bit nicer but still not worth the price. This is an ok option if nothing better, but horrendously overpriced.
