JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserI came here to participate in the Moganshan Cross-Country Race. It's just a few steps from the starting point. It's so convenient! I love the design and scenery of the room. I was stunned when I entered the room. It's so beautiful! The door is usually closed, and the privacy is also very good. The owner is very attentive. He has a one-to-one WeChat for each guest, and customized breakfast for us to run the race. The meal started at 6 o'clock. I came alone, but I felt very warm~

LleahdingWe booked this B&B because of its high rating of 4.9 and its proximity to Yucun Square and the Yucun Distribution Center.
After a two-day stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's sincerity. On the first day, we had a double room and brought an older child. I asked if we could add breakfast for an extra fee, but the owner said no. For breakfast on both days, the owner and his wife varied the options, offering milk, dim sum, eggs, and salted duck eggs, without repeating anything.
The most touching part of our stay was that we had an elderly resident with limited mobility, and we hadn't arranged lunch for them during our outing. Even though the B&B didn't offer lunch, the owner took the initiative to prepare it for me and brought it to my room, refusing to charge for it.
This B&B is run by a couple who personally manage the breakfast, cleanliness, and service, all worthy of praise. It truly makes travelers feel at home. Only with attentive service can guests feel at ease. It's amazing!

Mogan Ziling Villa focuses on the privacy and humanistic temperature of mountain scenery, especially suitable for family outings or friends gatherings that pursue a sense of quality.
Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.
”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic.
Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

GGuest UserChoosing this B&B in Moganshan was a unique experience. Staying in an old Republican-era house and getting to know the charming mother and daughter owners was a rare experience. Although Huang Fu's former residence is located in a bustling city, the moment you enter the courtyard, you're instantly struck by tranquility. The ambiance and furnishings of this large courtyard are truly worth savoring, reflecting the B&B owner's artistic taste and meticulous attention to detail. You can fill your time here with so many interesting things, but life is so short. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and bring them back for a quick chat.

ZZhongniandaiwaqulvxingThe B&B's location is a bit of a downside; it's not in the scenic area, nor is it close to Yucun. However, if you're traveling by car, it's not an issue at all, just a ten-to-fifteen-minute drive. The service was excellent; they added me on WeChat early on and were always quick to answer any questions. We decided to hike the Jiang Gong Ancient Trail to the top of Moganshan with my dad on New Year's Day morning. We started at 7 AM and reached the summit by 8 AM. We were incredibly lucky to see a snowy landscape that morning, and even better, the sun came out around 9 AM, turning the sky a beautiful sapphire blue. PS: The EV charging fee is a bit high, surprisingly 1.9 yuan per kWh.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The guesthouse owner was really nice and enthusiastic. She even recommended places to visit when we didn't know where to go. My kids had a great time staying there, even though it rained on the first day and we couldn't go out much. The mountain scenery is beautiful, and there are even little cats at the guesthouse you can pet! Next time I'm in Xiantan Village, I'll definitely stay here again.

ZZoeVHThe service was the true standout of our stay at this B&B! The owner and his wife were so kind and welcoming to us during our stay. Anything we needed (included a request for a Bluetooth speaker and bicycles to explore the area) they accommodated. We ate lunch once and dinner twice there…the food was simple, fresh, and delicious. On our second night when we requested dinner we were invited to eat dinner with their family and have some beers, which made our stay feel warm and memorable—it was such a nice experience.
Although we are foreigners and have limited Chinese language ability both the boss and his wife were so friendly and thoughtful! Anything you need can be requested on WeChat.
The location is beautiful and tucked perfectly into the mountains (beware though, most restaurants and shops will require at least a 15 minute walk to reach…this didn’t bother us much though because we several meals at the homestay).
Overall, a wonderful stay that we would definitely recommend to others!

The food cooked by the landlady is delicious, and the butler's service is also very good. I forgot to bring toiletries, but the housekeeper sent them to the room. Breakfast is very rich.
