Hhero_haoThis trip to Moganshan was made particularly memorable by the company of Moyu Mountain Residence.
The location of Mo Yu Shan Ju is perfect. It is only an 8 to 10-minute walk from the bustling Yucun market town. It is extremely convenient for going out for food, strolling, or visiting surrounding attractions. However, it cleverly maintains a sense of independence and tranquility, as if it is a paradise away from the hustle and bustle.
The moment you step into the villa, the clean and tidy environment instantly catches your eye. Every detail has been carefully taken care of, just right, making people feel particularly comfortable. The billiard room, karaoke room and chess and card room on the basement floor added endless fun to our journey and allowed us to spend many happy times in the villa.
However, what touched me most was the enthusiasm and kindness of the landlord couple. While traveling, my tire suddenly got a flat. It happened to be Chinese New Year and all the repair shops were closed. I was getting extremely anxious when my landlord, Mr. Yao, offered to help me. With his skillful hands-on ability and superb techniques, he helped me find the leak and repaired the tire, solving my urgent problem at the end of the year. What is even more touching is that Boss Yao resolutely refused to accept any compensation. I was deeply moved by this selfless help.
At Moyu Mountain Residence, I not only enjoyed comfortable accommodation, but also felt the warmth and care of family. This is not just a place to stay, but also a home full of warmth. Next time I come to Moganshan, I will definitely choose here again!

LLeijianaIt was my first time staying in a B&B. It was a very good experience and choice. I am willing to share my user experience.
The room is an attic room. Three people can stay in it. A door divides it into two spaces. There is no disturbance when sleeping. Because it is on the roof, there is a large public balcony with a ladder, which is convenient for washing, drying and taking pictures.
Facilities & hygiene:
The facilities and hygiene of the room are good, which exceeds my expectations for B&Bs. Their mattresses are very comfortable and have received unanimous praise from the whole family;
Environment:
The outdoor space of the B&B is divided into the front yard and the back yard. Although I have seen many beautiful photos of the backyard suitable for taking pictures, I personally prefer the front yard (garden with a swimming pool) more. After all, from the distribution of functions and living time, the front yard is more suitable for me.
Their surrounding environment is also relatively good. There is a Yuexian private kitchen nearby. It is very convenient to eat and the taste is not bad. You can also eat in the B&B. Except for the confirmed breakfast, other things need to be booked in advance.
The proprietress is hospitable and talkative, just like what I have seen in other reviews. It is also quite interesting to chat with the proprietress when you have time.
A store that can be checked in more often. I wish the store will get better and better.

GGuest UserGood for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics.
The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool.
At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all.
The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there.
As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

PP CurrallUpon arrival we were warmly greeted as we parked our car in front of the hotel. The level of service continued to be extremely warm and friendly to the point of departure when they checked the road for us to leave. The location rating is more subjective. It’s very convenient as a base to explore Moganshan and doesn’t have the access complications of staying up on top of the mountain or the hustle and bustle of being in the town which gets a lot of traffic congestion. We enjoyed the seclusion and having a car it was ideal. The room was cosy with a good AC, quality accessories and a reasonable view, all appropriate for a 4 star hotel. We really liked the living and lounging areas around the grounds, where you can relax and read in seclusion. The swimming pool was perfect. Breakfast was a set menu and acceptable. Overall we felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Big thanks to the staff who did everything to make our stay pleasurable.

This might be one of the hotels with the most breathtaking views I've ever stayed in! Our room offered an unparalleled vista – truly a 'living painting' the moment you open the window. From the moment we drove through the hotel gates, the meticulous and thoughtful service was evident; staff guided us all the way, so we never worried about getting lost. After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience.
Waking up in the morning, gently drawing back the curtains, and watching the mist drift through the mountains, changing with the light – it was truly a sight so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away 🤩. Even doing nothing but lying in the room and soaking in the view brought immense joy.

The cliffside restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Perched right on the edge of the cliff, it features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the entire valley the moment you sit down. We were incredibly fortunate to secure a table with the best view; the expansive vista was simply stunning. Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic.
Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles – with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them 😋.

If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'.
The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. The entire experience was both relaxing and engaging, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves and truly 'slow down and savor the moment'.

**Pottery & Painting Instructor Deng Chensi Sam**: Very professional, explained everything in detail, and gave us lots of inspiration and suggestions. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'!
**Archery Instructor 🏹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

·A ”petty bourgeois” who refuses to admit his age had a very good chat with the boss and took his children to the big bamboo forest of the boss's landlord to dig bamboo shoots. It was so happy. It is said to be the only bamboo forest in the mountain, and it provides almost all the bamboo shoots in the mountain for free all year round;
·Little watermelon, a senior dog lover, had various intimate interactions with the boss's bald poodle (your dog-blind mother may have learned another kind of dog because of you);
·Recommend a homestay~A love story of a Dali guy and a Hangzhou girl who fell in love at first sight, and a love accident of a former literary young woman who fell into the mortal world after giving birth to two children; the center is her calligraphy, I believe that the handwriting is like the person, although I have not met her, she is in confinement; post the address to show her respect~

RRenjianshimengThe floor-to-ceiling windows were a highlight, perfectly meeting our desire to admire the mountain views from the comfort of our room. It was incredibly relaxing to enjoy the beautiful scenery without even having to step outside!
The hotel's food was also delicious, especially the scallion oil fish – it was so good that I'd seriously consider staying here again just for that dish!
When we went out for a stroll, we got caught in a heavy downpour and couldn't make it back to the hotel. A kind staff member even arranged a car to pick us up. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

WWutongxiyangThe service here is quite unique. At first, it didn't feel as warmly welcoming as a Four Seasons, Aman, or Banyan Tree. However, after staying for two days, the responsiveness was excellent, and it actually felt more in line with the Naked Stables' vibe, helping us connect more with nature. Keira also upgraded us to a treehouse villa, which had barbecue facilities and a kitchen, making it perfect for families with multiple children. The spacious activity area made our vacation even more relaxing. Room service was good, and the timing was fine. The organic vegetable salad for breakfast was great, and the bread was baked in-house. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the breakfast at Banyan Tree is quite underwhelming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, including archery, horseback riding, off-roading, and hiking. We also visited Naked Castle, which was very photogenic and suitable for younger people, and great for escaping the summer heat. All in all, it was a perfect vacation. The only minor issue was the air conditioner noise from under the villa, which is a common problem with this type of product. Hotels like Chuanyu, Shaoxing An, Sanya Banyan Tree, and Yangzhou Slender West Lake Resort all have similar issues. It's difficult to rectify, as the air conditioning units need to be placed in a public area or on a separate foundation during the hotel's construction to avoid vibration and noise problems.

GGuest UserI came to Moganshan in December and chose Jun'anli Resort Hotel after comparison. When I checked in, the receptionist upgraded my room, which made me feel better. The mountain view outside the terrace of the room is quite good, but the temperature in the mountain is low, so I can only stay in the room. If the weather is good and the temperature is suitable, it should be very comfortable to sit on the terrace. Life consultant Anna is very enthusiastic, and the communication on WeChat is smooth. She helped me as soon as possible. After leaving the hotel, I realized that I had troubled Anna during non-working hours. The family members are generally satisfied with the hotel's services.
