Great hotel, friendly owner. The hotel isn't staffed 24/7 though. We arrived quite late, but luckily the owner was waiting for us, so if you do book this hotel make sure you contact the owner beforehand to confirm your arrival time, incase you arrive too late and there's no staff waiting for you.

It is close to the beach and close to the city center, but it is quiet and easy to spend at night. Although it is a 150-year-old building, the interior has a modern design and feels a calm atmosphere.

A great hotel for its level! Location super, staff super, the balcony view is very pleasant! There is a cafe and a courtyard with a terrace. Price/quality at excellent level!

A magnificent hotel in the center of Biarrica is located and service on the height. The room is very clean, spacious and decorated. The hotel itself is decorated cosy and tasteful, emphasized the connection with its name - Ama in Basque means ”mother.” The staff is very kind, but the reception works only in the morning. The rest of the time the contact phone is left. There is a luggage storage room and a small hall where you can rest after being evicted from the room. We really liked it, we will come again!

Structure well located to reach the city on foot, clean apartment with panoramic sea view. Large outdoor pool beautiful and clean. Being a residence and not a hotel they do not provide daily room cleaning. Convenient parking in the structure at the price of €8, we did not try breakfast.

The location of the hotel is first class, the center of the city center, 100 meters away is the seaside. Service standardization, feel good, beautiful decoration. We stayed for 5 nights in total, everything was good, the mattress was soft. A little challenge for those of us who like hard beds, everything else is good.

Atrocious dinner service; I asked twice for water, but it was never brought. I had to ask a third time. We ate all of our starters without any of our ordered drinks (wine or water) delivered. Awful breakfast service on the first morning. In a busy environment, the logical layout of where plates and cutlery are kept (also a large distance apart) is completely nonsensical and the staff were very slow to replenish breakfast supplies during peak breakfast time. At 9.05 am, a cleaner knocked on the door! Ludicrously early. We shouted to ask them to leave. At 2.52 pm, a male staff member unlocked the door and promptly walked into the room without invitation while my partner was in bed, unclothed. This was grossly unacceptable. On that basis, you absolutely must not stay at this hotel. There is a serious safety issue here. This hotel is the ”Fawlty Towers” of Biarritz, except nobody is laughing.
