Amazing
์ฑ์ฑ๋ฌด๋ฃฉแฐแฉThis was the best accommodation we stayed at during our Okinawa trip. My only regret is that our itinerary only allowed us to stay for one night. We loved everything from the traditional Okinawan house exterior and the tatami room layout typical of Japanese homes, to the impeccably clean, modern kitchen and bathroom. Getting to the beach behind the property was a bit challenging due to the overgrown path, but our spirits lifted the moment we saw the ocean. Plenty of towels were provided, and having a washing machine, dryer, and laundry detergent available was great for taking care of our swimsuits after swimming. With a microwave, kettle, and toaster provided, it was convenient to buy food from outside and heat it up. The air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was strong, so we stayed comfortably without any issues during our stay. It rained overnight, but we woke up to the loud chirping of insects outside the house. My child said this was the most memorable accommodation.
The only minor drawback during our stay was how tricky it was to open the door upon check-in. It's a manual key system, and the lock mechanism was quite small, making it hard to tell if it was properly unlocked. We struggled so much with it that we had to ask a foreign guest staying in the neighboring unit, who had already checked in, for help to get it open. They mentioned they had a hard time opening their door at first as well.
GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay! The cabin was spotless and well-equipped with cutlery, a microwave, an induction cooktop, and even a 'black gold' stove (presumably a type of heating plate). This was incredibly convenient for late-night snacks if you wanted a relaxed evening. Communication with the management was excellent; our check-in was delayed due to travel plans, but they were very accommodating and we were still able to check in smoothly, which offered great flexibility for our trip. The included breakfast was like a typical Western-style home breakfast, but sometimes they had Japanese onigiri, which was a nice little treat to try. Since the cabin is a standalone unit, we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone, even when staying up late. This is a huge plus for families with kids or groups of friends traveling together.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious with a huge balcony offering expansive views, great for watching the sunset. Free parking was available, and having a convenience store downstairs was very handy. However, some pillows had a slight odor, and the dryer took a very long time to dry clothes.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Royal View Hotel Churaumi. The location is definitely the highlight โ itโs only about a 5-minute walk to Churaumi Aquarium, which made visiting incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. They served local Okinawan dishes, and everything was delicious โ a nice way to experience the local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Another plus is the convenience store right in front of the hotel, which is very handy for quick snacks or anything you might need. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you plan to visit the aquarium.
GGuest UserIn the northern Okinawa National Park, the air is fresh and the environment is natural. The hotel is old-fashioned but has a free washing machine and dryer. It is convenient and intimate. The bathroom is small but the shower water is very comfortable. The dinner of 2,500 yen is very good! This hotel must drive by car to get to no business and restaurants nearby, driving out is the only choice
LLily ZhaiThe location is excellent! You can take a bus directly from DFS in Shintoshin, and it stops right at the hotel entrance. While the room facilities are a bit old, the rooms are very spacious, perfect for family trips. There's a commercial street downstairs with a Starbucks and an Okinawa specialty supermarket. Getting to the aquarium is also convenient, with a shuttle bus service available for round trips. After a full day out, you can easily find dinner downstairs, and there's even an ice cream truck! We really enjoyed our two-night stay.
GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.
SSofie LThe hotel had a great location, in between Sesoko island and Motobu Genki Village. Several restaurants and izakayas were in walking proximity, as well as convenience stores and even a bakery. I was in luck and got an apartment on the top floor with a view facing the ocean. The hotel was clean and my room well equipped. There is a breakfast and lunch spot right next door, and there is also a vending machine for various drinks just outside. The manager and the staff were oh so helpful and polite. Good to know - after 20:00 the main entrance is shut, but guests can still access the building through a side door with their room key. Super positive experience!
GGuest UserThe room looked clean, but when I walked to the tatami place to see, it was actually full of hair and a lot of sand dust, and then carefully checked the entire room floor, I can only say that there is a lot of dust, a lot of sand and a lot of hair! I can't believe it..... Later, I wiped the floor all over, and the pillow shook the dust before I had a way to rest and would not choose to stay again.
GGuest UserMany people said it wasn't very clean, but for us, it was okay, acceptable cleanliness. Located on an island, it might not be suitable for those without a car. It's quite isolated and quiet at night. I recommend checking in before dark.
The owner provided excellent service.
