Great
蕭蕭力郡The map navigated us to another building of the B&B, but it did state that the actual office was 700 meters further. It might be a bit hard to find if it were dark, but luckily we arrived in the early evening. The standalone cottage for two felt a bit too big for us! 😹 But the B&B was very thoughtful; it had all the pots, pans, and cutlery. There were even fireworks in the living room (for an extra charge if used). The kitchen also had salt and oil, which was a nice touch. Upstairs, there was a tatami common area; it felt like you could fit several people if you just put down some mattresses. The only downside is probably having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I was a bit worried about falling. 🤭
LlotosliyaExcellent location, the hotel is a 10-minute walk from Ocean Park, and there are two beautiful beaches nearby. There are also two bus stops, a Lawson convenience store, and a restaurant close by. If you walk towards the wild beach, you'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes along the way. We walked everywhere. The road from the bus stop to the hotel is uphill, but it's not too tiring, just a 9-minute walk on a good path. You can rent electric bikes at the hotel for 2000 yen per day, or pay by the hour. Our stay was very convenient and comfortable. It's a condominium, and the room has everything you need for cooking and laundry. The room was clean. The stove is gas, but it's easy to use. There's a microwave and all the necessary utensils, including a frying pan and dishes, as well as a washing machine and dryer. The front desk staff was very kind and helped us check in after the official check-in time after we called them (our flight was delayed, but they left the key in our room). I had to ask an airport staff member at the service desk to call the hotel for us, as it's impossible for foreigners to buy a Japanese SIM card for calls (they only sell them for internet at the airport). You can order breakfast: bento boxes are delivered to the hotel every morning and they are quite tasty. At the front desk, there are drip coffee bags, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. After check-out (by 11 am), they allowed us to leave our luggage at the front desk until the evening so we could enjoy Ocean Park and the aquarium one last time without carrying our bags.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious with a huge balcony offering expansive views, great for watching the sunset. Free parking was available, and having a convenience store downstairs was very handy. However, some pillows had a slight odor, and the dryer took a very long time to dry clothes.
GGuest UserIn the northern Okinawa National Park, the air is fresh and the environment is natural. The hotel is old-fashioned but has a free washing machine and dryer. It is convenient and intimate. The bathroom is small but the shower water is very comfortable. The dinner of 2,500 yen is very good! This hotel must drive by car to get to no business and restaurants nearby, driving out is the only choice
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Royal View Hotel Churaumi. The location is definitely the highlight — it’s only about a 5-minute walk to Churaumi Aquarium, which made visiting incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. They served local Okinawan dishes, and everything was delicious — a nice way to experience the local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Another plus is the convenience store right in front of the hotel, which is very handy for quick snacks or anything you might need. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you plan to visit the aquarium.
LLily ZhaiThe location is excellent! You can take a bus directly from DFS in Shintoshin, and it stops right at the hotel entrance. While the room facilities are a bit old, the rooms are very spacious, perfect for family trips. There's a commercial street downstairs with a Starbucks and an Okinawa specialty supermarket. Getting to the aquarium is also convenient, with a shuttle bus service available for round trips. After a full day out, you can easily find dinner downstairs, and there's even an ice cream truck! We really enjoyed our two-night stay.
SSofie LThe hotel had a great location, in between Sesoko island and Motobu Genki Village. Several restaurants and izakayas were in walking proximity, as well as convenience stores and even a bakery. I was in luck and got an apartment on the top floor with a view facing the ocean. The hotel was clean and my room well equipped. There is a breakfast and lunch spot right next door, and there is also a vending machine for various drinks just outside. The manager and the staff were oh so helpful and polite. Good to know - after 20:00 the main entrance is shut, but guests can still access the building through a side door with their room key. Super positive experience!
GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.
GGuest UserThe room looked clean, but when I walked to the tatami place to see, it was actually full of hair and a lot of sand dust, and then carefully checked the entire room floor, I can only say that there is a lot of dust, a lot of sand and a lot of hair! I can't believe it..... Later, I wiped the floor all over, and the pillow shook the dust before I had a way to rest and would not choose to stay again.
NNidoranovaOverall, it's a decent hotel. The location isn't ideal due to the difficulty of crossing the bridge without a car (there are no buses) and the lack of 24-hour grocery stores nearby.
The room was completely white; I felt like I was in a hospital. The pillow was uncomfortable and the air conditioning was poor, but the refrigerator was incredibly loud. I couldn't sleep well there and woke up every 1.5-2 hours. I ended up booking a different hotel, losing two nights' worth of money, but at least I got a good night's sleep there.
I have no complaints about the staff; they were very friendly.
