"The Hiramatsu is a very nice, well-located hotel right on the beach, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. It has 20 rooms, which is a welcome change from the large, impersonal hotels you often find. The rooms are comfortably furnished with sea views and equipped with everything you need and more. The bed was one of the best I had on my entire trip to Japan. Rooms are cleaned daily upon request, and the beds are turned down in the evening, also upon request. This is very convenient, as you don't have to stand outside your room while it's being cleaned. The beach is beautiful and directly accessible via a staircase. However, it's not nearly as clean as the rest of the country. It's clear that the Japanese aren't particularly fond of beach holidays. Some villas have private pools, but the small infinity pool for everyone is perfectly adequate. The grounds are very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, their English isn't very good. The food ranges from good to excellent, although the selection is somewhat limited. If you don't want to eat the set menu every evening, which I did twice (once incredibly good, the second time rather underwhelming), the choice becomes limited. For breakfast, they offer almost everything, although it alternates between Japanese and continental options and is served at your table. However, you can also choose your own breakfast if you don't want the Japanese option. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely book the Hiramatsu again should I ever visit Okinawa's main island again."

"The hotel is quite remote; if you drive there, you'll have to navigate winding side roads. There were many bloodstains left by dead mosquitoes on the bedside table, which was unsettling. We were the only guests for two nights, and it got a little scary late at night. The hotel staff and owner were very welcoming and even gave us a bottle of sparkling wine."

Situated within the Okinawa National Beach Park, the hotel provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to step out and enjoy the beautiful coastline. The hotel also houses three stores, offering convenient shopping options at any time. We especially appreciated receiving free coupons when room service wasn’t required. Breakfast at the hotel is truly exceptional, with a variety of choices available. We particularly enjoyed the sushi bowls served on two mornings during our stay. The dining area is thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that ensures privacy between tables. Dining while gazing at the stunning sea view was a delightful experience. However, one issue marred our otherwise pleasant stay. On the night of our arrival, two family members used the public bath and were informed that the fee was 300 yen per person. Yet, upon checkout, we discovered we had been charged 1800 yen for their visit. Despite asking the receptionist twice for clarification, she insisted this was the correct charge for two people. My family members noted that other guests had paid 300 yen in cash before entering the bath, but since they didn’t have cash on hand, the fee was billed to our room. This discrepancy felt unfair and left us disappointed. Overall, despite this billing issue, we greatly enjoyed our time at Rizza Sea Park Hotel and look forward to returning in the future."

It's also very close to the beach, allowing for stunning views of the crystal-clear 'glass' sea and white sandy beach up close. The breakfast spread is rich and varied. There's a dedicated shuttle service to the beach club, and all the amenities you could need are provided. The staff are very friendly, and the foreign supervisor is exceptionally dedicated. The Intercontinental brand truly lives up to its reputation, catering to the needs of diverse guests. Thumbs up! Five-star rating!"

"Inconvenience ㅇI’m a little scared because there are no street lights along the way. ㅇThe front door does not lock automatically, so it is a bit inconvenient as it is out of habit. ㅇThe bowls are all large, so it is a bit inconvenient to use them as rice and side dish bowls. ㅇThe bathroom is not soundproofed ㅇThere was a toilet in the kitchen as well. Good point ㅇ The swimming pool is private and very nice as it is located between the kitchen and living room. The water is constantly circulating so it is clean, and the landscaping in front of the pool is also very pretty. ㅇ The kitchen is separate from the room, so people can separate who can sleep and who can play, so they don't disturb each other. ㅇ There are plenty of towels and other necessities. ㅇ It is very suitable for multiple families to visit and stay together. ㅇ There is a washing machine and dryer, so it is very convenient for using the swimming pool and the sea. ㅇ Parking available right in front of the entrance ㅇ I thought there would be a lot of mosquitoes, but maybe it was the time when there weren't any (October 24, 25), but there were none at all. There is a bush near the barbecue area, so there are large moths and snails on the wall."

"Overall, the experience was good. They helped with luggage upon arrival and delivered it to the room. Valet parking was provided throughout the stay. The hotel's swimming pool was also available for use. If you didn't have breakfast at the hotel, you could use the voucher for the hotel's buffet lunch. The only downside was that nearby construction caused minor disruptions."
