AAshley Wong889I love this room so much. The location is perfect, near the JR Station. The room is big enough for us to open two suitcases fully. One thing I very much like is the laundry pods, the smell is very fragrant！I wanna know about the brand of the laundry pods.

From the beginning, Mr. Li was renovating his own courtyard on the second floor. When he saw me, he asked me ”hello, is that you?”.
My luck started.
He also picked flowers for me, borrowed a charging cable, and prepared breakfast.
This morning, Ms. Zhou invited me into the house for coffee☕️. I drank more than one cup. It felt like home.
I felt very lucky.
Soon after I checked in yesterday afternoon, they drove by.
Took me to Otaru. I saved the time waiting for the bus. So I had plenty of time to visit Tengu👺 Mountain.
Mr. Li and Ms. Zhou kept introducing me to scenic spots and transportation precautions ⚠️
Thanks again.
Next time is when winter comes.
Now I have boarded the ship from Tomakomai to Oarai🛥️

CclumsyEAWe were given another place called second house green with private bath and kitchen due to overbooking. However, the first floor was a bit and the shower wasn’t that good. Water was not hot enough even adjusted to 60 degrees and was rather weak.
It’s hard to find the house green as well and was only informed the access code after a while. But check out time was good. Beware of the snow as our car was buried in snow the next day.

EEmilyttkWe traveled by car for 7 people and rented 2 cars. The location of the homestay is still very convenient for self-driving, but the equipment in the house and the environment outside the house need to be improved.
When we arrived, the snow outside the house was not cleaned up, and the house was super cold. The tragedy is that there is a heating downstairs that cannot be operated. I hope the administrator can check it again and again before the guests check in.

The service attitude of the hotel front desk and staff was really very good, and the stay experience was great! There are hot springs in the hotel, and breakfast and dinner are also very rich. Dinner is in a separate small Japanese-style room with great privacy! In terms of travel, there is a bus stop at the door, and it is very convenient to take the bus to the city. In addition, the hotel also has a free shuttle bus to the bus stop in the city at 9:30 in the morning. In short, it was a very satisfactory stay! I would like to praise the service attitude again, which is really great~ I had a very happy two days!

MM661566****The room was a traditional Japanese tatami style, clean, tidy, and cozy, and it was very quiet at night. There's a bus stop right outside, making it convenient to get to the aquarium and canal. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose Kinen again on my next visit to Otaru.

GGuest UserBathroom facilities on trip.com description there's towel so I thought like the usual 1 free but on the site, the staff said no free towel at all and need to pay 200 yen. You should update Bathroom facilities (scratch the towel amenity)
Other than that, it is very great hostel, biggest shared bathroom I ever see (all 3 toilet, wastafel and shower room in one) And very good facilities, though it's a bit inconvenience if you have room at 2nd floor (elevator will stop at 3rd floor if going up, so you will go to 3nd then 2nd)

Disadvantages: far from the city, there is a large hotel around the hotel that can provide catering services. There is no hair dryer in the room, no pot for boiling water (the hair dryer is shared at the front desk, and there is a water dispenser for boiling water in the corridor). There is no table in the room, it is not convenient to put things. The room type provided is different from the description of Trip.com (no sofa).
