The room was excellent and felt very comfortable. The cleanliness and design were impressive. The hotel restaurant served very tasty dishes. I had a great dining experience. It was very easy to find tuk-tuk nearby for transportation. This hotel is perfect for all travelers.

We had a fantastic stay at Golden Butterfly! We were greeted with iced lemon and banana chips when we arrived (even though it was late at night), and every time we'd go back to the hotel and stay for a brief moment in the lobby, we'd be brought a refreshing wet towel. The staff was really kind and accommodating. The room was okay too, and even though upon arrival we had a little issue with the AC leaking water (it still worked normal though), the problem was fully resolved the next day. The area was very central to all restaurants, shops, markets, pub street, street food etc. For tours we'd be usually picked up first and dropped off last. In the welcome pack we received a list of useful Cambodian phrases, which I found really sweet! There's free coffee and tea in the lobby, and you'll get free water bottles with daily room service. Our room had a mini fridge too. There were mosquitos at the end of the corridor where our room was, but we saw the staff spray mosquito repellents on the staircase throughout the day, as well as there were small burners on every floor, so it's good to know they're trying to solve the mosquito problem. No other bugs that we saw. The rooms, corridors, beds were all clean.

I have had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Jungle hotel in Siam Reap! My room was on the first floor with a balcony and a stunning view over the pool! The room was spotless, refreshed every day. I loved the tasteful, minimalist design of the room which fitted so well within the lush Cambodian landscape. The location was excellent, I could either take a tuk-tuk ride, or walk to Pub Street or to the night market, literally a few steps away. The staff was lovely, super courteous, and accommodating. I want to make a special note of the tours the hotel offered to Angkor Wat and to express my absolute delight at the tour experience provided by my tour guide, Miss Lucky, and our tuk-tuk driver! Miss Lucky completely transformed my tour experience: I took both the sunrise Angkor Wat tour and the longer temple tour with her. She went out of her way to provide outstanding service, she was extremely patient and attentive, and she took hundreds of breath-taking photos of me at various temples; she has an absolute talent and passion for fantastic photography. I whole-heartedly recommend Miss Lucky if you want a lovely tour guide who can take amazing pictures of you as well!  

A bit off the center of nightlife for which SIem Reap is also famous for. A long walk but a short ride away. So the choice is yours. Service is minimal as there are no food outlets in the hotel, but just step outside and you’ll discover curious restaurants serving local cuisine. The room is clean although spartan in furnishing. It’s a great value for money hotel.

Funky Village was one of the most energetic and social places I stayed in Siem Reap. The moment you step through the door, you're greeted by a spacious courtyard, a large pool, and a 24-hour bar. The hostel feels like a small campus, with groups chatting or planning new activities in every corner. The location is perfect: a 5-minute walk to Pub Street, and close to the night market and many restaurants. It’s also easy to get to temple tours; the reception usually helps with tours and transfers, making booking tickets and tours effortless. It was so easy to drop my bag and start exploring right away. The rooms were spacious and clean; the dorm beds were comfortable, and the lockers were secure. The cleaning staff kept the common areas and bathrooms tidy, and the pool area was tidied up every morning. There are private room options too; it’s ideal for backpackers in terms of value for money. Wi-Fi is strong in common areas, though it can fluctuate in the rooms sometimes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cheerful receptionists gave travel tips, and the bar staff were both quick and chatty; they did their best to keep the hostel atmosphere lively. Thanks to night events, bar games, and pool parties, even solo travelers easily made friends. The intense party and social life is its biggest advantage, but also its only drawback: it’s not ideal for those seeking quiet due to the noise that lasts until late at night. Bringing earplugs or requesting a quieter room might be helpful. During peak seasons, common areas get crowded; finding a spot by the pool can sometimes be a matter of luck. Overall, if you want to meet new people, be close to nightlife, and have an energetic hostel experience, Funky Village is a great choice. If rest and tranquility are your priority, it would be better to opt for smaller, quieter boutique hostels in the city. For me, this was an unforgettable and fun stop for travelers looking to experience the social side of Siem Reap.

Staff service are nice. Located by very close to Angkor wat areas. No lift only problem. Swimming pool and food all nice. TV and hotel room phone are spoiled but no problem for me. This is my experience in P5 Angkor residence hotel. Totally nice.

The room was exactly as show on the photos; spacious clean and bright. I could order breakfast to my room which was great. The first day breakfast was 15 minutes late, but luckily I wasn’t heading for the airport or anything. At the time of my stay there were offering 2 choices for breakfast, which were both delicious. The room came fully stocked with snacks as well as al pullover and Jon alcoholic drinks for cheap. Everything was around a dollar to a dollar twenty five. There is no elevator at this hotel. I was on the third floor and only had a carry-on luggage. Staff were pleasant and answered questions patiently.

Great place to stay! It was affordable and clean. The employees there are very nice and welcoming. It is walking distance from pub street and the night market. I think the location is great. It’s near the fun but also a quiet area if you need sleep. The workers helped me hire a driver for a trip to Kulen, which is around a 1.5 hour drive. I had a problem with mosquitos in my room. I suggest getting mosquito repellent. Great value, good location, and nice staff.

Location is pretty convenient, 15min walk to the Pub street, there’s 7/11 and laundry service right around the corner. Hosts are lovely and sweet; I booked the place via trip.com and the room they provided was different from the photos; i booked a nice looking white room as they showed on my reservation but I ended up in a different room which was dark and not as fresh looking as I was expecting. Bathroom is a bit tricky, water usually spills all across the floor, and takes time to drain. Room has both AC and a ceiling fan, they provide toothbrush and small soaps, as well as towels; no flip-flops. Room and bathroom were both quite spacious, although it was rather dark inside since lightbulbs don’t actually light up much. The bedding appears clean but it isn’t the most fresh and you can see some stains but it is in an acceptable condition, although the mat in front of the bathroom door was quite old and filthy looking. There isn’t a mini fridge or blow dryer in the room and also no sockets in the bathroom which was actually quite inconvenient. They have a nice small pool in the yard. Guest house doesn’t provide house keeping unless you ask; same with drinking water - you have to ask and they will give bottles. There was a child on the premises that often screamed, which was rather unpleasant during the waking hours tbh. Overall, it was a normal place considering the price; i would stay there again assuming that they provide the room I book and not something else.
