3-Star Hotels in Gapyeong-gun

Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly and the view from the room is beautiful. However, I couldn't sleep because I couldn't hear the talking and snoring in the next room. + There is no toothbrush in the room. Please pay attention when using it.

4 people stay, breakfast 2 people free Hotel in the forest, lots of places to visit, good to rest ~ I used the sauna and the facilities are clean and good ~ The hostel has to climb the hill, but check in and go out by cart ~ There are many reviews that breakfast is not good. About 15,000 won for a charging card. It was good because the taste of rice, soup, side dishes, bread, coffee, cereal, fruits, etc. was good. There are only many kinds at the price of over 30,000 won and it seems to be better than the tasteless ones~ Willing to return

It’s in a good location where you can get everything if you drive 5 mins. Swimming pool and Spa is just perfect to play and relax. However the drain in the bathroom stinks so once you open the bathroom door it will spread all over the house so quickly. And there are quite a lot of ***** on the floor and blankets hopefully it gets better. So if those two get fixed, I’d definitely want to visit again. The owner is super kind :)

Didn’t get the pickup service even though it was clearly mentioned free pickup service.

The scenery was so good. I knew there was nothing nearby. The hotel restaurant closed too early in the evening to taste the meal. I asked to change the pillow cover because it smelled like a cover, but it changed immediately. But the cover laundry is good, and it seemed that the pillow itself smelled. The room toilet was clean and nice. It was really beautiful when the sunset was falling. I think it's a good place to rest ~

We arrive at 21.16 and so dark. Min.lamp at street n' building.We can't call the owner because we are foreigner. N' looking for people to help us. So, we call the women at the down stairs to help us. She, call the owner n' help us. It's a room with dormitory n' small for 2 people. Not recommended for big luggage, because no lift. Hope, the owner hv a foto in front of the building because if arrive at 21.00 o'clock, the bulding is dark n' min.info go to the room. Hope staff of trip.com respond faster when call or chat. Only 1 menit walk to terminal intercity bus gapyeong not station metro or subway.

It was only an hour and a half from Seoul, so it was very accessible, and there were restaurants and cafes nearby, making it convenient. I anticipated the facilities would be outdated, so I didn't expect too much from the quality of the accommodations, which made for a satisfying stay. The breakfast was also reasonably priced considering the prices of nearby restaurants, and I thought it was a good meal. ^^

The Owner was so nice and ^^ they can speak in English very well and they’re very accommodating . The place was so nice but the thing is we ddnt enjoy much staying there because we almost 6 pm and we need to check out 11 am in the morning . The weather is so good little bit cold but it will be more fun in the summer ^^ We didn’t have chance to play and roam outside bcoz we woke up late and we need to pack up early so we can go other places . And its closer to Petite francw . The toilet is okey its clean ^^ the room is so nice too and its affordable
