3-Star Hotels in Goreme

We booked 2 nights at the Hira Cave Hotel. Omar and Mehdi took care of all our requests during our stay! The property is beautiful, rooms are well maintained and the location is at the perfect vantage point to experience beautiful views (from their rooftop). 📱 They reached out to us before checking in to give us information about the hot air balloon booking, various other tours and helped us arrange an airport shuttle - this was all via whatsapp. They even helped us organise a taxi late at night to go into town / as well as back to the hotel. 🛜 WiFi is good here! There were also no issues with connectivity with 4G/5G ✅ 🚪 Initially we had booked the ‘Arch Room’(which has windows), but upon arrival in the evening, we were given the Deluxe Cave room (smaller & no windows). I believe it was an honest mistake, and once we pointed it out, Mehdi took us to see the other available rooms and we ended up choosing the Queen Room w/Jacuzzi. I really appreciate that he did this, and the problem was solved on the spot! 🛁 The Queen room is beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom is massive! It has a Jacuzzi that fits 2 people! Water pressure in the shower is great, and basic amenities were provided in the bathroom. 🌬️ There is aircon in the room, however it wasn’t as cooling as we had hoped. There was also a glitch where it kept switching off after about 30 min and then showed us an error. So we had to keep turning it back on - which was a bit inconvenient 🤷🏻♀️. The issue was brought up during checkout, and they said they will be looking into it. 👍🏼 🍽️ They have a breakfast terrace that is covered yet has a STUNNING panoramic view of the whole town of Göreme. They had a delicious spread of food which was freshly made, clean & healthy! They were also able to make scrambled eggs on request. Overall, our experience here was great. We felt taken care of, and it’s safe to say we made a good choice staying here! 🫰🏼✨ Special thanks to Omar and Mehdi for their kind hospitality! We would highly recommend this place to everyone, as each room is unique and will appeal to people of varied tastes. 📝 Notes for improvement: - Include an ironing board in the room/ cupboard - Include a full length mirror in the room. Your guests will thank you for it!

Hands down, a five-star review! The biggest surprise of this trip was meeting such a thoughtful owner. Seriously, the best hotel owner in the world!!! We arrived in Cappadocia at 5 AM, and the temperature difference was significant. The owner, worried we'd be cold, let us check in a full 8 hours early. That was incredibly heartwarming and considerate!!! The owner was warm and polite, making conversations comfortable and easy. Any questions we had were answered meticulously. The room was spotlessly clean, the environment was quiet and comfortable, and all the amenities were well-stocked. From reception to check-in, the entire experience was fantastic, and the attention to detail truly won us over. Excellent value for money, absolutely smashed it!

Facilities: The bathtub in the room is superb, not only big but also with massage function. It is very cool to take a bath after playing around the town. Hygienic: OK, after all, it is a stone house, you can't ask for too much Environment: It is very close to the love garden of watching the hot air balloon. It can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. It is also within walking distance to the most central and observation deck of the town. Service: You can book the car to Kaisai Airport directly through the hotel. The price is relatively affordable on time. The staff service is very warm and the English is very smooth. If the breakfast is late, there is really nothing to eat.

A highly recommended budget-friendly and super cozy stay in Göreme, Cappadocia ✨ I truly recommend Capavista Cave House to anyone planning a trip to Cappadocia. The location is incredibly strategic—close to many attractions and easily accessible from the center of Göreme. For such an affordable price, the quality they offer goes far beyond my expectations. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making the whole stay enjoyable from the moment you arrive. The hosts are exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, making me feel completely at home. The breakfast is also delicious and varied—perfect to start the day before exploring Cappadocia. What makes this place even more special is the breathtaking view. Whether in the morning or at night, the atmosphere feels magical. And when the hot air balloons are flying, you can watch them right from your room, the rooftop, or the hotel terrace. Overall, Capavista Cave House is truly one of the best choices for comfort, location, and hospitality. I’m extremely satisfied and would love to come back again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall,I greatly enjoyed my time at the Rio Cappadocia Hotel. It is a very clean , new hotel with a modern cave feel. We had two rooms because I made two separate bookings. Both rooms were cozy and spacious, especially the second one(which was bigger in size). The rooms have beautiful carpets, the interior is simple yet attractive, and the beds were comfortable. The staff members greeted us warmly, and we were often provided with complimentary tea. The free breakfast was pretty good, including four different types of cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, a few types of breads, olives,etc. Turkish tea and coffee are also provided. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room rates are reasonable. The main issue I had was communication. Although there were no major problems, the following did not sit well with me. Prior to traveling to Cappadocia, my initial question that I asked was what bus number to take to the hotel(upon arriving at the airport). The response was , ”For this we need to arrange a transfer for you. Give us your flight number, passport numbers, the number of people , and I will arrange it for you.” The staff member was talking about the pick up at the Gerome bus stop, and not the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. This confused me. It became even more confusing when I was told we could get help with direct transportation from the airport to the hotel....and then the mentioning of a transfer pick up from the bus stop again. I simply wanted a direct, simple answer that provided an option for direct transport to the hotel. On top of that, the staff member was not talking about the correct airport(based on the flight number I had previously provided). When I asked for help to arrange a taxi to a restaurant, she gave the driver the wrong restaurant name(after I had said the correct one). There was also an instance in which I paid for both the green and blue tours with cash, and was asked if I had already paid. They checked their system and realized that I did. I should have asked for a receipt, but they should also check their records before asking this( it was confirmed that I had paid, so it wasn't a big issue)Additionally, I wanted to postpone the green and blue tours after a hectic traveling experience, as well as after a long day doing the red tour. I was told ”Don't worry...you will be in a VIP van..the tour will be great”, instead of just acknowledging the fact that we were exhausted. I didn't need to be sold on something I had already purchased(and that I still wanted to do). We just wanted some rest time before doing the other two tours. We were offered complimentary tea one last time at the end, but the staff member told us to write a review of our stay first. We refused, and I said I would do it later. She was friendly prior to our departure, but asked why I hadn't written a review. And, she asked if we could follow the hotel on Instagram. I understand the importance of advertizing a business within such a major tourist destination, but this was a bit too much. I hope the hotel can see this as constructive feedback. Despite the previously mentioned verbal/written communication, it was a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

Highlight: the male staff assisted us very well. Our clothes got wet because of the heavy rain, so we need to laundry and dry our clothes. He helped finding us a one-day laundry service because i had to leave the next day. rooms. Avlu Cave Hotel is a quaint famiily-owned hotel of about 8 rooms. It is conveniently located 3-4 minutes from the Goreme center. During our stay, we received first class service from the manager, Jan, and his assistant, Naji. Within minutes of arriving at the hotel, Jan offered breakfast. The buffet of traditional Turkish breakfast and some continental items was beautifully laid out in their breakfast room. I did not think we had breakfast on arrival day, but I was thankful for this generosity as we left Istanbul so early and were ready for a good meal. In no time also, Jan and Naji, who were really very hospitable, filled in with activities our incomplete tour plan. They made arrangements for the horseback riding sunset ride, the hot air balloon ride, and one of the tours. They also arranged earlier our airport pickup and later, transport to the airport. The room we occupied had a balcony and we made good use of it to soak in Goreme in between our outings. Avlu Cave Hotel provided us the perfect homey ambiance that we wanted to experience in Cappadocia. This is an ideal place for solo travelers, couples, as well as families.

Nice hotel. Location is good. Room is nice. Staffs are nice. You can ask the staff for booking Hot air balloon flight. We did ATV for sunset tour, it’s very nice. The location is the best. Also can go upstairs to see the hot air balloons if you decided not to get on. Ali, the staff is nice you can ask for more infos from him. Merhaba from Bkk 😂

This was a wonderful hotel! The room was clean, and the bathroom facilities were spotless. It was so lovely to be comforted by the cats and dogs at the hotel. The hotel staff were incredibly kind, even helping me book my overnight bus. They kindly held my luggage after check-out and even let me use the terrace and reception area, which made my trip incredibly fulfilling. I would love to stay here again!
