Excellent location and friendly owner and staff. You will not regret the decision of booking this hotel. Since there was availability, the owner gave a room upgrade for free. You can book the tours and balloon ride and airport transfers with them, the prices are pretty good. The view from the hotel is amazing. You can enjoy the view of balloons taking off from the hotel.

wt.cWe absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️

The room was very satisfying, with underfloor heating that kept it warm no matter how cold it was outside. It was genuinely carved out of a cave, not a later construction.
The hotel itself is quite large, especially since it has its own restaurant. The food was very much to Chinese taste; it was the best chicken and beef rice I had in Turkey.
The only minor issue is that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water. I asked the staff for two bottles, and they charged me for them upon checkout. I'm okay with paying, but I'm not okay with them not mentioning it at the time and only bringing it up during checkout. Plus, I think providing daily drinking water for guests is something a hotel should do. I'd still rate it a 9.5; overall, I'm quite happy with my stay.

LengnvnvCan I just say this hotel is an oasis in Göreme?! From the moment you walk in, the pool is the first thing you see – and it's absolutely stunning for photos! I booked this hotel because I loved it so much, even though I couldn't get a consecutive stay. Trying out two different room types was also a great experience! The rooms have a very vintage design, and the suites come with a Jacuzzi tub – just remember to bring your own disposable tub liner if you want a soak! My absolute favorite part, though, was the view of the pool. It's beautiful from every angle, at any time of day. It looks even more magical at night when the lights come on. Sip on a spritz and then drift off to sleep! Besides the hot air balloons, finding this hidden gem of a hotel was the biggest highlight of my trip to Göreme! Oh, and hotels here usually have a custom of taking in or keeping a stray dog. This one has a big black German Shepherd – don't let his size fool you, he's very gentle, so no need to worry too much.

Goreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money!
This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests).
The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals.
The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation.
What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable.
The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!

I’ve been to Göreme several times, and this is the hotel with the friendliest service in my experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel were very pleasant. It was especially perfect for us, as we don’t prefer staying in a cave hotel.

Guest UserThe front desk staff were very welcoming. It was raining heavily the day I arrived, and they mentioned that in winter, hot air balloons only fly about 3-4 days a month. Luckily, I stayed two days and managed to catch one. The winter scenery was also beautiful. They even upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent, and the observation deck is great too. I wouldn't highly recommend the most famous Sedef Pottery Kebab; personally, I didn't find it very tasty. If you've had enough Turkish food, you could try PEKING CHINESE, though it's not particularly good either, haha.

This cave hotel is quite unique and the restaurant offers a good variety of tasty dishes. However, we stayed for three nights and were assigned to the lowest level, which had virtually no view. This definitely wasn't worth the 1300-1400 per night price tag. The room door used a traditional key, and the bathroom door needed a strong push to close properly.
On the plus side, the service was decent, and they offered complimentary bonfires. On the downside, our room didn't have a good view, and some of the facilities felt a bit dated.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this hotel was stunning. The staff is very friendly and very open to answer any question you might have. The pool was very refreshing for the midday hot weather in göreme. I liked the location, because it was close to everything, but not located in a loud place. The food from the hotel is very good, and they even prepared breakfast boxes for us for our early morning flight. I liked the decoration from the rooms and they smell very good. The view of the hot balloons from the hotel is incredible stunning. I will recommend this hotel and specially for kids, it even has an area for kids.

Nadine10We booked a suite and was given the wrong room. When I complained, they told me to sort it out myself. The jets in the bath smelled really bad and were horribly dirty. Breakfast was good and it was in a very good location.
