stayed here for 2 days and 1 night with my family, and it was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. The level of hospitality we received was exceptional and genuinely deserves the highest praise. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and gracious, kindly allowing us an early check-in at 12:00 PM, which we deeply appreciated as we arrived earlier than expected. Their thoughtfulness immediately set the tone for a seamless and pleasant stay. Breakfast was outstanding, both in quality and presentation. Special thanks to the chef, Maryam, whose kindness and gentle nature made the dining experience even more delightful. Her warmth, dedication, and personal touch were truly unforgettable. The room was beautifully appointed with coffee and tea-making facilities, along with complimentary beverages such as mineral and sparkling water 🥤—a refined detail that elevated the overall experience. Without question, this is one of the finest places to stay in Cappadocia. It is especially ideal for those seeking a peaceful and quiet retreat—no children, no noise, just tranquility and breathtaking views. Castle Cave Hotel was truly our first stop in Turkey, and it left us with wonderful memories! 🏨 1️⃣ The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastically introduced us to local sights and day trip itineraries, enriching our journey. 🤝 2️⃣ The breakfast buffet was amazing! 🧀🥗 There was a variety of cheeses, yogurts, and vegetables – healthy and fresh. Plus, there were many adorable cats in the courtyard 🐱; I hope the pregnant one delivers safely and healthily. 💖 3️⃣ The hotel's location is superb, very close to the hot air balloon pick-up point. The driver only takes about 8 minutes to get there, so you don't have to wake up too early – super convenient! 🎈🌅 4️⃣ Most importantly, the hotel's view! The rooftop offers an incredible vantage point with breathtaking scenery. 🌟 5️⃣ The hotel's location is also excellent. It’s a 2-minute walk to the main street, where you'll find restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream shops, ATMs, and a bus station – all the amenities you need. 🍽️☕🍦💳🚍 One thing to note is that while some rooms have windows, opening them reveals the lobby instead of an outdoor view 😂. If the view is particularly important to you, I recommend confirming with the hotel before booking. 📞 Overall, Castle Cave Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Cappadocia – it's both cozy and unforgettable. We absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️

A heavenly place with soul and stunning views ✨ We stayed at Divan Cave House in Göreme and didn't regret it for a second. It's a true fairytale amidst the stony streets of Cappadocia. The hotel captivates with its cozy terraces offering amazing views. It's like a postcard in front of you: hot air balloons, rocks, and valleys. A truly soulful place where you want to linger with a cup of tea. Special thanks to the staff. The guys are incredibly responsive. But the main gems of the hotel are the ladies – both at the front desk and in the restaurant 😍 Such a combination of beauty and humor is rare to find! It was easy and fun to chat with them; they radiated positivity from the first minute and created a homey atmosphere. Thank you for your smiles and jokes – you are the true stars of Divan Cave House! The rooms deserve a separate description. Everything is perfectly clean. The linen is fresh, the bathroom sparkles, yet the authentic charm is preserved. No dampness or dust, which is surprising for rooms carved into rocks. In short, if you want to experience Cappadocia with comfort and a smile, and not just 'sleep over' – this is the place for you. We will definitely be back! 🔥

The highlights are definitely the amenities and the location. Everything you need is nearby, restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs, and even a bus terminal, making it very convenient for travelers. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of options. However, as someone who prefers having rice with every meal, I found the selection a bit limited in that aspect. There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The toilet flush in my room seemed to be faulty as it kept running continuously. Also, one night I suspect that someone may have entered my room since I accidentally left the door unlocked, and I noticed a valuable item was missing. I reported this to the receptionist and requested a CCTV check, but as of writing this review, I haven’t received any update. Despite these issues, my overall experience was still positive. The staff were generally accommodating, and the location really makes a big difference. For future guests, I’d recommend always double-checking that your door is locked for added security.

Considering it is a 3-star property, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. I requested for a cave room with a window, which was definitely the right choice—it made the space feel much fresher and ensured great ventilation, so it didn't feel damp or stuffy at all. The layout and style were truly unique and interesting. Also, the croissants at breakfast were absolutely delicious! However, the facilities are quite dated. The biggest issue was the water supply: it was very difficult to adjust the temperature for both the taps and the shower. The hot water was inconsistent, and we often had to wait for a very long time before it finally heated up enough to use comfortably. On the service side, the regular staff members were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and always polite. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the manager. During our stay, we had an issue with our luggage and asked the hotel for assistance. Instead of helping or showing any willingness to resolve the problem, the manager was uncooperative and rude. He provided misleading information and told us to call the police but threatened us that if is not the hotel's fault, he will sue us instead, what's worse is that he threatened we would not be able to leave Cappadocia due to the investigation. This was extremely unprofessional, intimidating, and unacceptable behavior for someone in a management position. In short, the room and location are okay for the price, but be prepared for inconsistent hot water and, more worryingly, very poor and threatening behavior from the male manager if you ever need help.

It was already midnight when we arrived at the hotel. Kappa was the most scenic part of the trip, and the hotel was beautiful. The room was basic, but fully equipped. We didn't have toothbrushes or toothpaste! We bought them at the BIM supermarket in town; they offer great deals. It's about a 500-meter walk to the town center, and the location is perfect, yet quiet amidst the hustle and bustle.

Very bad breakfast, limited choices and bad quality. Room service was not great barely changing bins. No new towels and no new soaps. Great reception, pretty nice rooms, great location near shops and restaurants.

The hotel's overall scale feels very comfortable. 3. **Service**: 1) The owner at the front desk was very friendly and humorous, and spoke fluent English, making communication easy. 2) The two complimentary bottles of water in the room felt a bit scarce, especially since the heating made the room dry and required frequent hydration. When we asked the owner for more, they readily provided them. It would be even better if more bottles were provided by default. 4. **Facilities**: 1) The room, especially the bathroom, was very spacious, and with two large windows, it had excellent natural light. 2) The 'Sehzade' room type comes with a bathtub, and the bathroom also features a stone platform for a Turkish bath, though I didn't try it. 3) The room also has a small balcony, which was perfect for sitting with friends, soaking up the sun, and chatting. Overall, the experience was well worth the price, perhaps even exceeding expectations. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit if there aren't other particularly unique hotels I want to try.

For all you ladies looking to snap some amazing photos, this hotel is a no-brainer! We stayed here on our last day in Cappadocia, after two nights in a cave hotel, and the change was actually quite nice! Before booking, I did see some reviews from fellow Chinese travelers, which made me a little hesitant. And indeed, there were a couple of minor issues during our stay. However, we believe that when traveling, it's best not to create problems for yourself or be too nitpicky, so overall, it was acceptable. Let me elaborate: Firstly, at check-in, the front desk guy asked if we needed help with our luggage. Since I was with my husband and we could manage it ourselves, and also worried he might suddenly ask for a tip, we politely declined to avoid any unnecessary hassle. He then just took us to the room door and left, maintaining a friendly attitude throughout. Secondly, because we had an early flight the next morning, when the front desk lady was showing us the restaurant, I mentioned our early departure. She offered to prepare two packed breakfasts for us to pick up at the front desk, which I agreed to. I had seen previous comments from other women who said their promised packed breakfast never materialized, so I mentally prepared myself for that possibility. Sure enough, when we checked out at 7 AM the next morning, the lady wasn't there. It was a different guy. I checked out with him, and he said he needed to check the room. We waited at the front desk, and after he checked, he said everything was okay. He didn't offer us any packed breakfast, and I didn't ask about it either, still operating on the principle of 'less is more.' On one hand, I didn't want an argument, and on the other hand, we'd been in Turkey for many days and knew their breakfasts were mostly cold dishes, which we aren't used to, so I didn't feel it was a big deal. Aside from that, I found the front desk guy's demeanor to be perfectly fine; he was friendly the whole time. If you find the above situations acceptable, then this hotel is an excellent choice for you! I also saw many Chinese compatriots staying there, mostly pretty ladies here to check in and take photos. It truly does make for great pictures! Just snap away and you're good to go! That's all! Hope this helps everyone!
