The guaranteed hotel found in Cappadocia is not in the town of Goreme, but in the town of Erjupu, 10 minutes drive from Goreme. It is a very quiet and convenient town. It is not so commercial, but it can feel the local customs. The most important thing is that the boss has studied Chinese at Xiamen University and married his wife in Xiamen. There is no obstacle to communication. It is too convenient for me who is not very good in English. I have set a day trip on the Green Line, hot air balloon, and ATV to watch the sunset. This hotel is located in the small town of Ortahisar. A shuttle bus from NAV Airport takes you directly to the hotel for 400 lira. While not as bustling as Goreme, it's quite quiet. There's a large supermarket right outside, making shopping convenient. The hotel is about a ten-minute taxi ride from Goreme town. We arrived late, and the owner waited for us until after midnight. His dog, Cinnamon, was also there. The room was clean and the decor was unique. The owner also kept the grounds very cozy. The owner prepared a hearty breakfast in the morning. He also came to clean the room every day for the two days we stayed. For travel, you can ask the owner any questions directly, and he also helped us find taxi drivers at reasonable prices! Zimmer war wunderschön mit Hamam 😍 aber Da unser Zimmer ganz unten war hatten wir keinen Netz. WLAN hat ab bestimmter Uhrzeit nicht mehr funktioniert. Warmes Wasser ging 2tage lang nicht nachdem wir es gemeldet haben. Hat sich der Personal sofort darum gekümmert.

We had a lovely stay in the winter. Our room was fabulous with a small living room and it was really cosy. The staff were so helpful, particularly Murat who rushed around making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and served on the roof overlooking the whole of Urgup. We would highly recommend this cave hotel!

Breakfast is delicious! The time was barely enough on the balloon tour, but he was happy to provide breakfast. The room was atmosphere, clean and the amenities with the Cappadocia logo were cute. The hotel terrace is available to anyone, so I think it feels good on a good day.

The hotel has a beautiful small courtyard, the overall facilities are very new, and the family room we stayed in was very large. The breakfast is very rich and includes tea eggs. The room we stayed in was a bit damp at first, but they immediately moved us to a room on the second floor the next day. Although the hotel is not located in the town of Goreme, basic hot air balloons and red and green lines are within the free pick-up and drop-off range. Worth recommending.

Cosy and affordable hotel with wonderful hosts, overall decent breakfast (the bread is amazing), and they have turkish coffee here . Some really nice views from the balcony and you can hike up the hill just outside the hotel for a sunrise. On the downside location is a bit remote so you'd have to taxi in and out, a taxi to Goreme centre will cost about 10 Euros one way. Also the room isn't soundproof so hopefully your neigbors aren't noisy but you get some wonderful birds chirping in the morning. Ilhan the manager and Nergis the owner helped us plan our trip even before we arrived, they can help you plan and organize private tours if you want i.e. hot air baloon, underground city, airport transfer or any time you need to book a cab. All the other staff were really down to earth and nice people. We had a wonderful time.

Exceptional Stay at Melis Cave Hotel – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melis Cave Hotel in Ürgüp, Cappadocia, and it far exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and genuine care from the staff made me feel truly valued and at home in this stunning cave hotel setting. I had booked a standard room, but upon check-in, I was delighted to be upgraded to a spacious and beautifully appointed suite. The room was not only comfortable and elegantly designed but also offered the unique charm of a traditional Cappadocian cave dwelling combined with modern amenities. It was quiet, impeccably clean, and provided a perfect sanctuary after days of exploring the magical fairy chimneys and historical sites of the region. The service went well beyond standard expectations. The hotel provided complimentary transportation, which proved incredibly convenient for visiting local attractions. On my final day, they thoughtfully arranged free food—a generous and welcome gesture that added a personal touch to my departure. Additionally, the staff provided a detailed map of the area and were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, bookings, or any other needs that arose. Their proactive and attentive support truly enhanced my entire experience.

Such a lovely host at this hotel. We loved the suite, with the amazing jacuzzi, lounge space and the room which had a king-size bed and a single bed for our child. The breakfast was outstanding and the view over the city too. We'll be back!

The stay was overall okay. The hotel had paid parking, which was a little inconvenient. Unfortunately, the bathtub was not working properly and water was leaking. We informed the staff, but it was only fixed the following day, which was quite unpleasant. Apart from this issue, everything else was fine and the staff were helpful.
