GGuest UserThe room is not big but clean and sufficient. There is a supermarket and subway within a 10-minute walk, which is convenient for travel. The campus environment is beautiful and the price is reasonable, suitable for travel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is not your typical dimension but it was clean and the mattress + pillows are one of the best I have slept on. The location was good as it was close to Metro, White House, Lincoln memorial, and Georgetown (walking around 20 mins). There is also a Metro station close by. However, it’s far away from the convention center though, you will need to take a taxi or Uber to get there. The one suggestion I have is to provide kettle for hot water in the room as well as bottle waters. Most of the reception reps are very helpful and cheerful, only the grave yard shift reception lady is not in a good mood (I know it’s grave yard shift…but). The elevator needs some improvement as well since it’s very slow… (I’m not sure it’s because of the elevator manufacturer or because of the old building).

GGuest UserOur recent stay at the Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall was fantastic for our group of 6! The One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Sofa Bed provided plenty of space for everyone to stay comfortably. The suite was perfectly sized with two queen beds in the separate bedroom and a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area. The spacious layout allowed all six of us to move around comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with the separate living and sleeping areas. Location: 5/5 - Prime spot near the National Mall Cleanliness: 5/5 - Everything was spotless and well-maintained Service: 5/5 - Staff was accommodating Facilities: 5/5 - All amenities exceeded expectations The suite proved to be an ideal choice for our group of 6. The queen-sized beds, including the sofa bed, provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The living area offered enough space for us to gather and socialize, making it a perfect base for our DC adventure. For anyone traveling with a group of 6, I can confidently say this suite configuration works great, offering both comfort and convenience in an excellent location.

GGuest UserGood hotel. The location was ideal for us, a walk away from a lot of the tourist attractions. There was a lot of homeless and I wouldnt have liked to have been out late We choose the hotel because of the outdoor pool. We managed to get in it but it is very small (6 people is a squish). Comfy bed. The breakfast was good. There were queues but the signs tell you when the quieter times are - so we were fine. I would stay again

GGuest UserStayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here.

CChristopher R KingThe hotel is located fairly near Union station, however there is a massive problem with homeless people hanging around outside. Overall, the rooms are clean if not a little dated. We had a question over credit card charges. Our family booked the room online with Trip and the hotel preauthorised our card $340 dollars, on arrival charged $200 dollars deposit and then took a further $190 for some reason until o removed the authority on the card. A two night stay is equal to $740 dollars while we wait for refunds. The hotel could do more to make sure dangerous homeless do not wait around outside, and when there was a problem in my last night outside the security disappeared. If you want a bolt hole in Washington DC this is okay, for a family friendly environment due to problems outside and charging issues this is not the place to visit

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, although there was a little surface dust on the clothes rack. I arrived late for breakfast; I remembered the front desk mentioning 9:30 AM as the end time, but by 9:15 AM, there was nothing left to eat. I'm still unsure of the actual closing time. I even asked a staff member for some fruit, but he said they had run out. To be fair, running out of items is a common issue with hotel breakfast buffets. I ended up making some congee in my room. Overall, it offered pretty good value for money.

GGuest UserHotel stay was nice, easy check in, valet was not orginized safely and had us stopping in the middle of the road to get out and offload luggage. There was not a designated, safe area for valet to handle the vehicles. Elevator smelled like sweaty workers and had poor air circulation, the hall way smelt like ****(not always a bad thing, just not at that time and place), and the most disappointing thing was the horrible service upstairs at the ”resturaunt and bar.” Service was non-existent and they were not busy in the slightest, the music was all ”hard” rap music cursing that was not appropriate at that time considering there were still families present. My wife and I sat there for 30 minutes before I had to ask the bartender to make us a drink and I had to pay the bill at the hostess stand since our waiter never came at any point.

GGuest UserDisappointed in first room which had odd layout and faces alley so I requested better room and they quickly accommodated but would’ve preferred they gave me better room to begin with since I think most people don’t like odd layout with view facing alley. Otherwise, room/bathroom was clean, tv had good selection of channels, and location was perfect where we were just minutes walk from White House and national mall and many good restaurants. Note that I used SpotHero app and found cheaper parking than what hotel offered. Not all garages allow unlimited in and out so make sure to check for this before booking.

KKingston VIt feels like living in a fraternity house. On Friday and Saturday nights, the 5th floor rooftop has disco parties which you’ll hear the music in your room until 2am if you live on the 4th or 3th floor. The staffs were nice in trying to help when I raised issue with noise. I had noise cancelling headphones on the whole night with taking melatonin so that I can fall asleep. They also gave me a room in the basement (lower level). The music doesn’t go there but there is a lot of water noise there. They had ear plugs ready when I asked them for help so it’s not a problem that they’re willing to fix. I would recommend this place to prioritise their guests than the bar visitors. Other than noise, things were pretty good though. I guess this hotel is good for young people. Parking on the streets could be difficult though.
