GGuest UserThe bedding and environment of this hotel are all very good. The most criticized thing is that some of the charges are not clear, and it is easy to overspend and overpay. For example, breakfast is provided, but in fact each room is controlled at 80 US dollars, and the excess is paid by yourself. Because it is a à la carte meal, the price on the menu does not include tax, and guests will not consider these things in advance. When calculating the amount, they usually exceed the amount because of not considering the tax. There is also a 30 US dollar mini bar and bar, which is simply mandatory consumption. Because of these two items, guests feel very bad, and feel that the hotel or the dealer is not authentic. I hope to explain this in detail in the reservation instructions.

GGuest UserIt is a Hilton, but not as nice as others you may have experienced because it is seriously dated. For starters, just let me say we had a fine time, but we had to acclimate to the reality of the claim that the hotel was conveniently right between two metro stops - it really isn't. You can walk to the Dupont Circle with little to no trouble, but walking back is up hill all the way which could cause trouble for some. Second, the room is really small and had a very old beat up stand alone refrigerator that I think I had in my dorm in the 80s that was set up on the floor next to the dresser. Frankly they should have been ashamed to have that in a Hilton room. The cleaning staff was really nice and helpful and could teach a thing or two to the staff of the ”Starbucks” which was not at all a Starbucks - it was a Hilton cofee stand that served Starbucks. There is no reason to not stay here if you get a good rate, but just don't expect too much.

NNovax2 bedrooms and 1 living room. There are 2 large beds in the room. The sofa in the living room can be unfolded into a large bed. There is a mattress, but it is soft, so it is suitable for children. It is difficult to sleep with one big and one small. Turning over will make a creaking sound, so it is most suitable for big children who sleep soundly, so as not to affect the quality of sleep. There are 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, but there is no supermarket nearby, so buying ingredients is a problem. The hotel can buy them for you and charges a 30-dollar courier fee. There is a small supermarket in the hotel where you can buy snacks and water. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, oatmeal and other hot foods, and drinks are all iced. Self-service coffee, hot water is provided in the self-service coffee area. The hotel has free water filling equipment, so bottled water is not provided. It will change slightly every day. The hotel parking fee is about 53 dollars. There are many parking lots around, but it is also quite expensive (I don’t remember the specific price). You can take the subway Silver Line to Dulles Airport, which is 6.75 one-way plus 2 yuan card fee. It takes about 1 hour to get to the airport. Walk to the national mall area, about 10-15 minutes walk

PPear_tingtingThe location is great, but the service was just average, unlike the Hyatt Place. Regarding parking, the website stated $50 USD per day, but upon arrival, the counter staff informed us it was $70 USD per day, which is more expensive. We asked about the price, and they agreed on $50 USD per day. If we hadn't asked, we would have wasted money. We were disappointed with the service; we expected it to be better, but it was worse than we anticipated.

GGuest UserI did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

AAnonymous UserThe TV had no signal, and after trying various methods, I gave up. The room door needed to be closed gently to avoid making a loud noise. The toilet flushing was mediocre, and the amenities seemed cheaply made. Most importantly, the room was filled with a pungent, overpowering smell of newly renovated furniture; it was very irritating and made my throat very sore. I suggest the hotel remove the smell (I'm not sure if it's formaldehyde). This is the first time I've experienced such a throat irritation in a new hotel.

GGuest UserStayed four nights for a conference across the street at the Hilton. I have stayed here once before and had a good stay. It seems to have gone downhill, as the service was terrible no matter who I spoke to at the front desk. Housekeeping never came my entire stay despite: 1) being told housekeeping is every 2 days (according to one person ) or 3 days (according to a different person); 2) requesting trash pickup, extra hangars, two clean towels on Day 2 and being told it would happen while I was gone for the day; 3) requesting it again on the next day since it didn't happen previously. Again, I returned to my room at the end of the day and it had not happened. Explained this to the front desk upon checkout on Day 4 and they were ”shocked.” No attempt to rectify/compensate though. Another problem was I missed a delivery one evening because the phone was not working in my room. They never fixed it. I was dealing with a different person each time and not a single one was able to address any of the above issues. Last time I am staying here.

GGuest UserI booked a king-sized room through Ctrip, and the reservation explicitly stated a 1.81-meter king bed. However, upon check-in, we were assigned a room with a bed less than 1.5 meters. After staying one night, we requested a room change, but the hotel insisted that this *was* their 'king-sized room'. Following Ctrip's intervention, we were required to pay an additional fee to upgrade our room, which Ctrip later refunded. When Ctrip contacted the hotel, the hotel's response was, 'We made no mistake! This is precisely the room type that was booked.' At this point, I'm unsure whether the hotel is being dishonest or if Ctrip is involved in deceptive practices. Regardless, I will never stay at this hotel again. A 'king-sized' room with a bed less than 1.5 meters is absolutely unheard of in North America! Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Ctrip was genuinely misled or if they are themselves deceiving customers.

GGuest User
