4-Star Hotels in Bruges

The hotel is located in the old town of Bruges, making it very convenient for getting around. Just a heads-up: the entrance is right on a cobblestone street, so I wouldn't recommend bringing very heavy luggage. The hotel's common areas are quite stylish, but the rooms feel a bit dated. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and high-quality options. The biggest downside was the extremely low shower pressure in the rooms on the first floor (second floor for Americans). It made showering quite uncomfortable and chilly. I've seen other reviews mention the shower pressure issue, so I'm not sure if it's a widespread problem or just in certain rooms.

My stay at Crowne Plaza Bruges was excellent in every way. The hotel enjoys an outstanding location right in the heart of Bruges, just steps away from the city’s main squares and major attractions, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms were spacious, elegant, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges who is looking for a comfortable stay in a perfect central location.

My partner and I had one of the mansion suites on the 3rd floor. Although our room didn’t have a view it was spacious and comfortable. The toiletries smelt divine. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of fruit and fresh juices / smoothies. Customised omelettes were made. The hotel itself is boutique, contemporary and in a good location to Brugge Train Station, buses and also all the main attractions. It is nestled down a quiet street but still close enough to main attractions. You have waffles and fresh potato fries shops within a minute walk from the hotel, including a supermarket if you need anything.

A great find - this super-clean and modern hotel was perfect for an overnight stop.  Rooms were very clean with everything needed in case you’d forgotten your bathroom bits.   Lovely restaurant with superb breakfast.  Good choice for evening snacks or dinner too.  Located just on the outskirts of Bruges it’s a 3km walk into the main square, perfect for us.  Lovely lady on reception was so kind and helpful, making check-in so easy.  Surrounded by a field of sheep one side and cute little pathway the other, a real little gem.  Highly recommend.  One mention is the room windows are terrifyingly dangerous and the pillows aren’t the best!

El servicio excelente, con el extra de que antes de la hora del check-in ya teníamos la habitación disponible. Ubicación excelente y los servicios compartidos con el Duke's Palace (recepción, desayuno...). Es conveniente saber que, aunque te llevan las maletas hasta el hotel, este se encuentra en un edificio con algunos escalones que se deben de salvar en los pisos superiores, pese a contar en ascensor, por lo que debe ser tenido en cuenta para las personas con movilidad reducida.

Hotel Portinari in Bruges is a gem! The modern design is both stylish and inviting, creating a lovely atmosphere. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a perfect retreat. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bruges!

The hotel was easy to find. I was in Bruges for business, and it's a beautiful city. The hotel was very close to the city center, which was very convenient. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and there was also a small swimming pool.

Friendly staff, lovely hotel, buffet breakfast was good value and convenient. Location was spot on and the family room was cosy, clean and had loads of space. Nuts from mini bar were cheaper than in the supermarket which we couldn’t believe. Only downside was the shower head wouldn’t stay in the holder so we had to hold it to shower which was a shame. Overall we would return if we came back to Bruges.

This accommodation is very good, but the strange thing is that the hotel gate is more than 50 meters away from the parking lot. The problem is that the small stone road on the ground, the box has to be pulled in by yourself, you can understand the rumbling sound all the way, why is there no flat road? This is also the first time I have encountered a design where the hotel gate is far away from the parking lane. The receptionist at the hotel front desk when I checked in was very enthusiastic, and the people I met later were all people who wanted me to yell at swear words. At 4 pm, I was sleeping in the room, and someone knocked on the door and opened the door directly. He closed the door and left while I was shouting. I went to the front desk to ask what happened! The answer was that it might be the person who checked the cleaning. None of the two front desks apologized to me. An old lady at the front desk told me that I should hang a sign on the door to avoid disturbing. Anyway, it should be my fault. This handling method surprised me. When I checked out, the card was still stuck. The front desk checked it carefully and told me that I had to pay the city tax. Anyone who has stayed in Europe knows that you can't get the door card without paying the city tax first. I can only say that the professionalism of the staff of this restaurant is very poor. These front desk staff must want this hotel to be on the Belgian cartoon.

這個是一個獨立的樓層，包括兩個房間和一個大廳，一個乾濕分離的廁所，只是需要先到主酒店那裏拿鎖匙和入大樓的密碼入住，不知道也是比較麻煩。所以一定要提早入住，但是地點很好，就在廣場，非常方便。打錯的也很清潔。
