This stay was fantastic! I brought my kids here for a winter break trip, and the front desk staff was so thoughtful, providing children's slippers and toothbrushes. When we checked out, they even gave the kids a small gift bag with toys and snacks, which they loved. The housekeeping staff was also great, providing extra pillows and blankets for us. The hotel has a gym and laundry room on the same floor, which was very convenient to use. Food delivery was brought to our room by a robot, and I highly recommend the fish noodle soup for breakfast – the Hunan rice noodles were truly delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Very impressed by the 2 front desk ladies who helped us changed our 3 nights booking to 2 nights. Didn't get their names, they worked the noon shift, 12-8pm, on 11 Dec 2025. They could not understand Trip.com English and used a translation app to navigate through the otherwise fixed booking that did not allow for changes. It was a long process and they were very patient throughout. Great service, highly recommended 👏

My overall experience at Holiday Inn Suxian was very satisfying. The service was good, and I’d especially like to mention the auntie working in the laundry room—she was warm, helpful, and made the experience even more pleasant. The hotel is very new and well maintained. Facilities include a self-service laundry (washer and dryer), a small gym, and a breakfast restaurant. There is also a small convenience store in the lobby (not 24 hours), and on the first floor of the same building you’ll find a supermarket, bakery shops, and food options, which is very convenient. Although the hotel is not located in the downtown area, this actually turned out to be an advantage—it’s quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely choose to stay again in the future.

Traveling to Chenzhou by car, I knew the hotel's location was perfect for getting around. Parking in the backyard was a relief. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom had no strange water odors. The staff were very warm and helpful; any issues could be brought to the front desk and were generally resolved. There were plenty of local food options nearby, right outside the door, and the environment was also good. After a good night's rest, we were ready to continue exploring the next day. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Generally speaking, it's pretty good. The aromatherapy in the lobby smells good. When you enter the lobby, the waiter will greet you warmly. There are greetings when you go in and out, which is very good. You feel valued. The hotel has free parking, both open-air and underground. You can take the elevator directly to the hotel lobby. The bedding is very soft. Because I am pregnant, I sleep very comfortably. It is all latex. Later, I asked the waiter if the hotel sells it. The sound insulation effect is also very good. I recommend everyone to book a room with a view. This one has floor-to-ceiling windows facing Wuling Square. The lighting is very good. Before 9:30 in the evening, you can see uncles and aunts dancing in the square opposite. It is also a unique flavor hahaha. The room was a bit small. We booked a family room for four people, and it included breakfast for four, but there were only two sets of disposable toiletries in the room. We had to ask the hotel for more. The hotel lobby was nice, and the breakfast was excellent; we were very satisfied. I especially loved the rice wine dumplings – not too sweet – and the 'Killing Pig' noodles were also quite good. It was truly a lifesaver to have a hot breakfast during Chinese New Year when it was hard to find food anywhere else. Usually, family rooms only offer breakfast for two, so I was very pleased that this one offered it for four, which was a major reason I chose to book here. They also gave us a small gift when we checked in, which was a nice touch. Just a suggestion: the room had a two-seater sofa, one chair, and a very small table, which isn't ideal for people who order takeout to eat in the room. Since they provide breakfast for four, they know there are four guests, yet there's only seating for three and not enough disposable toiletries. Also, there was a rumbling noise throughout the night, possibly from the ventilation system, and I'm not sure what it was.

This hotel offers great value for money. Parking is convenient, and it's right next to the main entrance of the South Gate scenic area. I originally booked one night but ended up extending for another. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the service is attentive. The front desk staff were very welcoming, gave me tips on how to explore the area, and even recommended local specialty restaurants, which were excellent. You can also catch the sunset from the hotel. Definitely a recommended place to stay! 👍
